Well we never know...may be she will get replaced in future. And you are right she is not good as a vamp too, especially her make ups are not matching to her acts.It looks so fake.😳She was better as a helpless innocent gal.

It looks like she may be the actual lead as her entarance was more like they show leads - from the back and side but no front shot.

BTW - Mama killing was way too ruthless and Appu had too much fun doing it. Appu does not care about Malay at all. I will be happy if there is different lead...

How is Appu's dealing w/ Mama in any way related to whether she cares about Malloy or not?

She knows that Mama is a threat, in fact, he followed them to the godown & threatened them, untilshe appeared. She could have killed him by scratching him - just a bit more than Vikram or that rabbit. Instead, she just tried psyching him out - perfectly legit. It was he who screwed things up by biting her. Then she exposed herself as vishkanya, while he got a sore lip.

When Nandita & Kumkum arrived, she gave him the option of going to them or fleeing. He fled. She didn't want Malloy to see him, as that could risk spilling her secret, or else, she'd have to lie to him. So she sent Malloy on that goose chase, while she read mama the riot act.

I doubt that Mama will die - he'll end up in the ward like Vikram b4 him.

I don't mind a new gal joining Malloy, as long as Appu isn't tainted by marrying him first. If Malloy discovers the deception, or if Appu tells him that she's a vishkanya harmful to him and is therefore releasing him, I'd be fine w/ Malloy being paired w/ someone else. But not otherwise.

I do think that Medha - the actress who plays Tapur - would have been a better choice for Appu than Aishwarya - maybe their roles could have been switched.

@vrish - Appu's feelings for Malay are not related to Mama's killing.

I feel Appu does not care for Malay because she is constantly using him get to his family without remorse/guilt. Today when she was talking to Malay, there was no concern, affection visible on her face for him. She was totally preoccuiped with her task. She lies fluently to him all the time.

If the actress cannot emote this through expressions, they could have easily thrown in some self-talk where Appu apologizes silently for her behavior or how she is afraid of losing him when he knows the truth.

Just because Mama does not die, does not absolve Applu of her actions or her murderous intent.

Very well said. I too feel the same,she has no concern for Malay anymore. She lied and acted with a made up story without any hesitation.She was worried that if Vish will expose her then her revenge can be affected but no where she was shown of having fear to lose Malay in that case.There is absolutely no love remains in her heart for Malay.

Just imagine if Malay will find some grp of ppl in that forest then according to Appu's word he will surely fight with them without giving any explanation,then what will happen to him??? Appu has completely lost it, her heart is full of venom now like her body, even her mind has became like that. Thats why she could easily lie and lie. I so wish to see Malay with someone else but not with Appu.

Episode behind. I am acrually watching the episode when she is torturing his uncle and I was like. W*F. Did this show totally change their lead into a VAMP? Maybe coz of the low trps they decided to do this. Bt unbeliveable that they made her into a vamp. I like sweet, intelligent Apu. This evil 1 too is ok bt actress better take it up a notch.

She was torturing Vishal for a valid reason - he was trying to kill her mom, and now, he knew her secret. There is no way she can allow for her secret to be out there while there are still people who w/o knowing about it are a threat to her family.

Last night's episode, where Renu broke into their house was really stupid. Then the new promo, that shows Malloy w/ Veda and Appu as the third wheel - for me, that's the last straw. I'm done w/ 3-somes, which Zee seems to relish.
