Sagar heard a noise from his room, just to find Jhanvi hanging from her saree. He quickly broke the door to save her. She was half unconscious and when read her suicide note, he blamed himself for Jhanvi taking such a big step. He had to clear this mess himself. That feeling of guilt made him closer to Jhanvi. Finally, there was someone to call his own, as Gangaa was moving towards Palash, and his family hardly cared.
The verdict for Malhotra case was out, he was proven innocent by Sagar Chaturvedi, Jhanvi Niru all were happy for his victory. Meanwhile, Yash was in police custody after Palash took over the MMS case.
When the chatur family arrived, all were surprised to see arrest warrant for Jhanvi. All family members again bad mouthed Gangaa. Sagar promised Jhanvi that she will be out soon, not to worry. Sagar vowed to fight for her case and prove how innocent his wife is. She was back home on remand after few hours in jail.The Chatur's family hated Gangaa with each passing day.
Once again in court it was Sagar vs Palash for MMS case. Yash confessed his crime and the first person name of accomplice that came was Jhanvi. There call details were recorded,every voice record that Yash had saved in his mobile while speaking with Jhanvi was played in court loud and clear. Sagar was taken aback, as if his backbone was missing.
Then came the confession part starting from making fake kundli to helping Yash make MMS. However, Jhanvi was not aware it would cause this much damage Hence, Yash was sentenced to jail, and it was later left on acquisition side if they wish to file any charges against Jhanvi.
Everybody was looking at Gangaa, where she refused to file any charges against Jhanvi. Sagar was shocked the women who tried to kill you, demolish your image, how could you forgive her just like that. Niru, was feeling very small in front of Gangaa, no body had the guts to face her. Yash hands were handcuffed when he shouted to Jhanvi, " I told you if I get caught, I will not spare you even,those pills you bought from me are not sleeping pills, it is drugs. Now you are a drug addict, and it will give you a slow death ".
Sagar recalled that bottle beside bed, Rantox company. Yes it was true, that company manufactured drugs and the first victim was his own wife. He had no words to say, though he had won the case, and this case too to safely aquit Jhanvi from MMS case. But he had lost the battle, his best friend has once again won.
He knew Gangaa will never forgive him, but he needed his answer. All were back in Chatur's house, everyone was angry with Jhanvi today.Just then Gangaa entered house, when Niru stopped her to ask, " why did you do this, why you never told us, why ?. She replied " though Babu I am nothing to you, when my izzat was blown no one said a single word.But, I do know and understand that my step might tarnish your and your family image, so I didn't wish too. Moreover when you refused to accept me, you said because Jhanvi is daughter of Judge, she belongs to a renowned family, she will bring you the fame which I could never bring. And see today, you are so correct " as she left the place.
Niru and rest of the family once again felt belittled for their actions. Sagar was in no mood to calm down, he straight away went to Gangaa' s room.
I can't believe you can be this great. What do you want to prove after all this? You are my friend right, why didn't you save me when I was about to fall for a wrong person
She replied " I did Sagar , that time also when I warned you Jhanvi is not good for you, and when in a fit of rage you married her. But you know, you never wish to listen to anyone goods advice. I know you, you hate me more, and love Jhanvi, she is your life. I don't wish to take your life away from you"
