TEASER

Dev averted his eyes not able to see the hero worship in Tara's eyes.

He felt terrible already about what had occured.

She was in trouble in the jungle and he had lost consciousness.

When he had to be strong, he had become so weak and helpless.

He was no one's hero here.

She was in capable hands now. Maan and Geet could do much more for her than he ever could.

With a heavy heart, he moved to the door.

"Tum kya samajhte ho Maan, ye ladki tum se impressed hai, tum se pyar karti hai? Uss ke mann mein Khurana's ki daulat aur jaagir ki koi laalach nahi hai? Bewakoof ho tum Maan!! Aissi ladki khud se pyar karti hai, apne fayde se pyar karti hai ..", Daadima screamed in anger.

She turned to Geet haughtily, "Ye sab, ye estate, ye hospitals, ye Madhavpur ka ghar aur zameen jaidad sab humara hai, samjhi tum! Raj mera beta tha aur usne sab mere naam kar diya tha".

"Tsk, tsk, tsk Savitri DEVI .. ", Geet scoffed saying in a sing song voice, " .. aisa lagta hai jaise aap ki umar ke saath thode brain cells kaam karna bandh ho gaye hai. Baap ka inheritance apne bete ka hota hai, na ki uski SAUTELI ma ka".

"Dekha Maan dekha tumne? Kitni badtameez aur badimaag hai ye ladki. Jab tumhare Ma Papa ko ye mana nahi saki toh tumhare paas aayi hai apna jadu chalane. Tumhare jhaase mein mera pota nahi aane wala hai. Chali jao yaha se Geet. Get out from here!!" Daadima said pointing to the door.

A/N: Showdown coming.

I am not sure about an epilogue .. so many of you are hardly reading the story.

I actually feel bad that Dev feels that he became weak at the wrong time but again it truly was not his fault
