How can BJP government say dat Kohinoor was given as gift to British not stolen?😡 Why will India gift such an important thing to British who ruled them? I hate dat Queen wen she wears her bloody crown wid our Kohinoor fixed on it. Its like a slap on Indian people's face😡.

no I am not... I just don't like to ask anything back
Diamonds/gems are precious and they have a certain aura around them like we living beings do. I personally don't wanna attach any negative emotion to them hence I am fine with wherever kohinoor stays

India claims that Kohinoor belongs to India and that stance should continue. However, we shouldn't whine about it continuously, it's annoying and useless as we should very well understand that such whining produces no result. Instead we should focus on making ourselves strong. So strong, that one day when India demands anything as gift others will be forced to gift it to India.

indians are veri servile and docile - prior to the freedom movement we actually welcomed the brits and felt cosy under their rule.. which is why we built the Gateway of india and gifted the kohinoor,.. one thing about brits - do they have history of stealing..i think not... they returned hongkong to china .. lets forget about kohinoor... just like we have forgotten about akhand bharat and move on... ok whats next?

ok. I want to make a correction based on what is in Wiki. I dont trust wiki but according to them it seems the kohinoor was actually kind of snatched as a part of EIC annexing punjab..which could mean it was indeed "stolen" and I would hate to say this but its fair to ask it back! Brits cant give any other spin to it.. I would think

Not just India but even Afghanistan and Pakistan are claiming it...
It's good that we are protesting after all it's a matter of heritage but why are we only focusing on Kohinoor...
There are many other precious item's of our's lying with the British, why not get them??? and tbh,I have a feeling that it will get lost if it is brought to India

Why Pakistan? Afghanistan can claim it as Mughals were 4m there only.

Because as far as I know the area which Maharaja Ranjit Singh ruled also covers present day Pakistan...
i'm not very sure about the reason but they have also made a serious claim to it.There was a report about it in Telegraph
