Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan have never been paired opposite each other. Each time the two actors come this close to signing a film together but it just doesn't happen. Be it Prem Ratan Dhan Payo or Sultan, Deepika has never shied away from refusing an offer to act with the Dabangg Khan. Her reason? Well, it's obvious.

But now everything is going to change. It's finally happening. Deepika and Salman are indeed pairing up for the first time in Kabir Khan's next film. Although it was reported that Katrina Kaif was in contention for the role, Deepika might have just clinched it at the last moment.

So all Deepika and Salman fans rejoice, the fresh pairing will be seen in Kabir's next which releases on Eid 2017. But there's one condition on which Dippy will green light the film. What's it? Given that Deepika is doing commendably well in her career and has been shouldering all her films single-handedly almost, she wants a concrete role in the film and unlike other Salman heroines, she won't take up a miniature role where she will be reduced to a mere prop in the film.

Her reasonings are quite clear and she has already given a heads up to Kabir who is ensuring that Deepika's role in his next is at par with Salman's. Now that's what you call fighting it out in a man's world!
