Asad stopped his SUV at the patio in Khan Mansion. Due to the high speed its tyres screeched loudly & Asad jerked forward but thankfully due to the seat belt he got saved from hitting forward as it pushed him back. He closed his eyes & breathed out a lung full of air as if letting out all his worries & tensions.

He left home today with a very happy face & expected to have a good time with Zoya which he actually did. In the few encounters he had with her he found her to be a very nice human being with good values & her down to earth nature impressed him a lot.
Today's lunch was also an enjoyable experience for him. He loved the time he spend with her & felt nice to know her some more. Unknowingly she made a place in his heart but that place was of a very good friend.
But Zoya doesn't want to become his friend she wants more & that was something he can't give her. Even though he refused her his heart was not at peace. Her tears were tugging his heart. The way she pleaded & cried in his arms made him restless. He felt weak, helpless & guilty for being cause of her tears. When it became unbearable for him he just left her there like a coward.

After leaving from there he sit in his SUV & kept driving aimlessly in hope to get rid of the restlessness he was feeling. When his phone rang flashing Home he decided to come back Home.
Sighing once again he removed his seatbelt, came out of the car & made his way inside after locking the car.

Two ladies were sitting in the living hall with his Ammis & sisters. Whom he recognised to be Haseena Bi (The fat one) & Chaand Bi (Her pigi tail). Both were their very distant relatives & kept visiting them once in a while only to the irritation of everyone as they didn't liked their nosy & irritating nature.
-Are Asad Beta toh aa hi gaye tum. Said Haseena in her high pitched voice irritating him & making everyone to look at him.
-Salaam Waleikum. Asad politely wished both the ladies who were gobbling the samosa's & Jalebi's filled in their plates.
-Waleikum Salaam Beta. Allah tumhe khush rakhe. Are Dilshaad sach kehti hun har baar jab main Asad bete ko dekhti hun toh mujhe yeh aur bhi jyada hadsome lagta hai. Kya kehti ho Chand?
-Bilkul Baaji aap bilkul sahi keh rahin hain. Dilshaad Bi ek baat kahe deti hun Iss baar jo hum rishta laaye hain na aap bilkul mana nahi kar sakti. Dono ki jodi boht jachegi.
Asad who was having water brought by Najma stopped abruptly. This was his second proposal of the day. He was already stressed & didn't wanted one more trouble. And a rishta that too brought by Haseena never ever! He would prefer to stay single forever instead.
-Are Chand Bi aap bhi. Jodiyan toh upar wala pehle hi bnakar bhejta hai. Hum kon hote hain haina Bhabhi...Dilshaad blabbered on knowing fully well Asad doesn't like Haseena Bi & her innumerable wedding proposal's that she keeps bringing for him & his sister's.
-Are Haseena tum toh yeh Shaam-e-Kabaab chakho, Tum bhi lo na Chaand. Humeira beta serve karo.
-Jee Ammi.. Humi dutifully stated serving them.
-Ammi main apne room main jaa raha hun. Asad seriously said getting up from his seat & walking away.
Dilshaad tensed thinking Asad was upset over the proposal only she didn't knew it wasn't Haseena's proposal which Asad was thinking about.

Zoya unlocked her home's door & pushed it open applying a little force. With much difficulty & heavy steps she moved inside & locked the door. As she turned her tired eyes took in the flat which was totally silent as she had given a day off to her maid Marry.

With drooping shoulders she lazily moved towards the sitting area. Her tears have long dried but those swollen eyes were evidence of her miserable state. After her break down in the lounge she composed herself difficulty & made her way back home. She wanted to have some alone time after the emotional turmoil.

Dejectedly she moved towards her room & sat at the bottom of the bed.

Even though her tears had stopped but the sadness & helplessness on her incomplete Love was hurting her soul.

She couldn't understand the reason of his rejection. She knew he was a perfect match for her & she loves him too than why he refused. He himself told there was no one in his life than what stopped him? Various questions were coming in her mind of which she has no answer.

Still questions aside but the pain of rejection was too much to bear. She was experiencing it for the first time just like she experienced the sweetness of love in the short span of time.

Ringing of the doorbell bring her out of her trance. Zoya frowned thinking who could be at this time. She was in no mood & didn't wanted to be disturbed specially now. When the ringing didn't stopped she finally got up ready to give an earful to whoever was on the other side.
As soon as Zoya opened the door she froze seeing the person outside.
-Aapi...Zoya whispered emotionally before launching herself in her arms.
-Zoya meri jaan...we missed you so much sweetheart..Zeenat reciprocated her hug & embraced tightly.
Anwar who was standing behind her ruffled Zoya's hair fondly.
-Aapi Jiju aap toh raat ko aane wale the na? Zoya enquired still overwhelmed & surprised to see them early.
Giving Anwar a side hug she ushered them inside & locked the door.
-Ab kya karen Zoya tumhari yeh jo behan hain inneh tumhari itnii yaad aa rahi thi ki na toh yeh khud enjoy kar rahi thin na hamen karne de rahin thi. Ab tum toh janti ho na apni in over dramatic sister ko. Anwar teasingly pulled his wife's leg sitting on the sofa.
-Acha ji yeh kyun nahi kehte ki aapka khud man nahi lag raha tha apni eklauti saali ke bina. Zeenat retorted back before her hubby & dear sister team up to tease her.
But to their surprise Zoya didn't passed any comment infact she was looking at both of them lovingly with glassy eyes.
Zeenat & Anwar shared a worried look & than looked back at Zoya who being overly emotional at the moment couldn't control herself & launched herself in her Aapi's arms.
Zeenat's heart dipped seeing Zoya's state & she quickly pulled her in a loving embrace providing comfort.
-Zoya kya baat hai tum ro kyun rahi ho? She asked worriedly.
On not getting any response Anwar too came to them & lovingly asked...
-Zoya bacha kya hua hai apne jiju ko bhi nahi btaogi?
Zoya still didn't said anything & both shared worried glances seeing her state.
-Anwar aap please Zoya ke liye paani leke ayiye.
Anwar quickly went to the kitchen & fetched a glass of water for her.
-Zoya baby lo have some water, please for me. Zeenat lovingly persuaded her as if talking to a baby.
After a lot of effort Zoya took a few sips & calmed a little.
Anwar sit on the floor in front of her while Zeenat put the glass aside. Taking Zoya's hand in his he started saying.
-Princess you know na how much we all love you. Your single tear breaks our heart baby. Tum dukhi hogi toh hum khush kaise rahenge bhla. Abhi Subah hi toh hamne tumse baat ki thi tab toh tum boht khush thi phir achanak kya ho gya. Koi tension hai? Jo bhi baat hai tell us baby we'll help you out.
Zoya shook her head refusing to bulge.
-Zoya idhar dekho. Look at me Zeenat made Zoya face her..& now tell me Don't you take me as ur sister. Won't you share your problems with me. Don't I deserve to know what's bothering You.
-It's not like that Aapi.
-Than how is it? Tum kabse roye ja rahi ho aur humein kuch bta bhi nahi rahi ho. Just look at it from our side na. Pease tell us Zoya kya baat hai.
Zoya looked in Zeenat's eyes & understood how helpless she must have been feeling right now. Even though they were not real sisters yet their bond was stronger than blood. She knew if it would have been the other way round Zoya would be as tensed as Zeenat was right now or maybe more violent than her.
Keeping her head on Zeenat's shoulder Zoya finally broke the news.
-He rejected me Aapi. Zoya said in a feeble voice but it was enough for Zeenat & Anwar who was sitting close to them on floor to hear.
Both exchanged confused looks & than Anwar asked the question which was in both their minds.
-Rejected you who? Zoya as far as i know aaj ki date main koi bhi producer director ya ad company agar tumhe reject kare toh they must be the biggest fools of the world.
Anwar's statement made Zoya giggle a bit realising how innocent her Appi Jiju were.
-Jiju it's not about work. Zoya informed
-Not work related I don't get it princess than who rejected you.
-He Woh buddhu Ahmed Khan. Pta nahi kya samjhta hai Khud ko. Maine itne pyaar se date plan ki usse apni Dil ki baat btayi but woh woh Khadus Akdu mujhe reject karke chla gya. Zoya let out her anger, frustration & irritation all at one go.
By now Zoya had got up from the sofa & came near wall size glass windows which opened in the beautiful lush green garden in her balcony. Anwar & Zeenat too got up from their seat & looked at each other. Zoya's statement only confused them more.
-Buddhu Ahmed Khan? Anwar said with deep frown & looked at Zeenat silently asking if she knew anything about him.
-Zoya yeh kiski baat kar rahi ho tum? Don't beat around the bush tell us what's the story. Zeenat demanded folding hands on the chest.
Zoya realised how irrationally she's talking & turned to explain the full story knowing after what she blurted out just now her Aapi won't sit quite until she knows everything.

Once she finished she looked expectantly at them with a puppy face like a child who has done some mischief & is ready to be punished. She was sitting on the rug facing Anwar & Zeenat who were sitting together on the Sofa.
Anwar looked shockingly between Zeenat & Zoya & it was so comical that even Zoya chuckled in her mind. But when her eyes met with those of Zeenat's angry one's she quickly coward schooling her features all thanks to her acting skills.
-I can't believe You Zoya! How could you? Tum itni immature kaise ho sakti ho. Abhi gine chune do baar mili ho usse aur tumne jake usse propose bhi kar diya. Zeenat said outraged.
Zoya looked down expecting exactly this from her Aapi. She knew how protective Zeenat is about her & it isn't like Zoya being her sister is saved by her anger. If Zoya is at fault than she also have to bear her wrath just like now.
-Zeenat tum bhi na ek toh woh pehle hi dukhi hai upar se tum bhi usse dant rahi ho. Anwar intervened just like he does always whenever Zoya is in the receiving end.
Zoya pouted & looked at Zeenat knowing well her Jiju's strategy.
-Bas Anwar is bar nahi. Zoya is bar galti bilkul tumhari hi thi. Infact he's right...
-Aapi.. Zoya gasped shockingly looking at Zeenat cutting her short. Aapko bhi lagta hai ki main uske pyaar ke kabil nahi hon. Zoya said painfully in broken voice.
-Zoya I didn't mean that bache! I know how beautiful person you are & anyone who'll get you will be the luckiest person in the world. Aisa nahi hai ki You don't deserve him & I m sure he doesn't mean that too but Zoya tumhen itni jaldbaazi karne ki kya zaroorat thi. Aur na sahi toh humare lautne ka toh wait karti.
-Main usse khona nahi chahti thi Aapi. Jab maine dusri ladkiyon ko unke aas paas dekha toh main dar gayi thi. I thought agar I took time toh kahin der na ho jaaye. I toh just wanted to be with him. Because I love him. Two drops of tears fell down her eyes as she emotionally told her fears to them.

At this both Anwar & Zeenat's heart melted for her. Anwar squeezed her hand & she looked at him. Closing his eyes he nodded asking her to let it go to which she agreed.
Bending down Zeenat sit beside Zoya on the rug & took her in a hug. Zoya leaned onto her touch while Zeenat kept saying sweet nothings to calm her down.
