Salt, small white tangy tasting crystals ..used for food seasoning and preservative. If added to taste it can enhance the flavour of the cuisine but if used in access can ruin the flavour of the food and prove injurious to health but is considered as a sealant for wounds too. Many phrases include salt. The most common one, "to rub salt! is evident in the episode, adding to someone's distress or embarrassment, or sense of shame often deliberately..
Washing Raja s feet not out of service and love but to suffer humiliation. This is the demand made to Viplav and Dhani by the Awasthi's. Viplav questions the ritual but Kanak goes along with it to appease her daughters in laws. Kanak looks to Dhani unknowingly to bridle her son and her husband. Dhani rises to the occasion and confirms the ritual will be done. So it shall be but on Viplav's terms, he would do it on his own as the demand is for the ritual to be completed ,makes no difference if he does it or Dhani! with presence of mind he gets Dhani out of the equation, much to Raja's angst, but to follow from, Viplav does and pours saline water on Raja's ravaged toe the brackish water catches Raja's sore toe right through the bandage till he yelps in protest! no more washing of his feet! Acid humour Viplav style, innocently he looks up at Raja and muses, he befooled his sister and family in the same way he too is going to befool him before all. This fool living in a fool's paradise! muses Viplav with a butter wouldn't melt in his mouth expression. One comic situation, Viplav makes sure it looks like it! him insisting on washing, but Raja adamant not to have his feet washed any more. Viplav rubs into the Awasthi's that he has to finish the ritual which they asked for! Raja embarrassment is that he suspects the water is salty and its burning into the wound Viplav inflicted, but he couldn't let this be known to all, as all would laugh at him!
Viplav in the haven of his makeover room, does have a hearty laugh as he recalls Raja's victimised suffering before all! Dhani can't believe he added salt and warns of repercussions that Raja will retaliate and is likely to do anything! which daring defiant Viplav is unafraid of !in fact he has another idea up his sleeve that will shake his very existence!
Flowers as in off springs! Sulochana desires that her son should present flowers to Shalu as this was their special night. What his mother suggests about saying it flowers before Shalu.. goes right over the fool's head. He'll lead a life of ease and comfort but his mother's idea is that life will be secure if shalini was to conceive. Raja cruelly rejects the idea he ll not have anything to do of that sort with the fatso! His mother shouts at him, why did he go through the marriage if he is not going to take it a step further! just by marrying her won't get him the property and wealth, he'll have to convince her that he truly loves her and mami adds in that's why he has to consummate the marriage! Raja is stuck in a awkward situation!# Dhani comes to Shalu's room to somewhat prevent Raja from getting to Shalu. Dhani tells Shalu. Her brothers reckons Raja married her for her money, Viplav is correct as in the previous scene Sulochana was talking about Tirpathi inheritance..shalu was bound to react ,which Dhani wants, so she can put her plan into action ! Shalu retorts same can be said about Dhani that she married her brother for the luxurious lifestyle! Dhani points out a similarity in their situations maa ji' hasn't accepted her as her daughter in law and Viplav hasn't accepted Raja as his brother in law either! Dhani insists Raja married her for money! Thus Dhani shares with Shalu that she has decided that tell maa ji doesn't accept her like a daughter in law she would abstain from having any relationship with Viplav! and Dhani says she feels, Shalu should do the same not consummate your marriage .. till Viplav doesn't not accept Raja! But than Dhani adds she knows Raja is such a cheap man and Raja will never agree to this Dhani and Viplav know Shalu will do anything to prove Raja right .and Shalu takes up the challenge that Raja would stay away from her like Viplav does ..from Dhani swiftly Dhani takes a promise from Shalu that till Viplav does nor accept Raja her and Raja will not life as husband and wife! Shalu dithers and Dhani scoffs she knows he is a cheap man and not to be trusted but Shalu falls in the trap and promises yes she will not consummate till Viplav does not accept Raja .With victorious smile on her face Dhani leaves Shalu!
Here comes the groom..! Raja comes to their room Shalu's room..and bolts the door and bids Shalu to make this night special.. Shalu remembers the challenge she accepted from Dhani and thus bids Raja to wait for a month before consummation as that way he can prove to her family how much he loves her! he appeases her, hugs her and muses god alone knows what's got into this mad girl!
I will not only drive you out of Shalu's life but out of this house too! Dhani vows silently back in her room! Viplav returns, asks Dhani mission accomplished, yet he is concerned the man was alone in the room with his sister. Dhani assures him till a month he will stay clear of Shalu ,besides there's nothing that they can't solve with their pooled together efforts! Has Dhani fibbed about her consummation ? is all fair in love and war?
Satan strikes back by flattering Eve first, then tempting her to ask for the forbidden fruit by challenging god himself! Raja peeks into Viplav's honeymoon suite room. He primes Shalu for her simplicity and innocence, always content with what she has , gives up her own desires for the happiness of others.. to prove his love he will sacrifice his need for her and stay away from her. But what can her brother give up for her happiness ,would he give his beautiful room her? he sows the seed in Shalu's mind of depriving Viplav from his room that he gave a makeover , for his and Dhani's pleasure.. the truth about Shalu is that as far as Raja was concerned she created havoc in the house tried to kill herself and only thought of her happiness.
Now Raja's game plan in retaliation to Viplav and Dhani s moves!..shalu wants their room as a wedding present for her and Raja.. Viplav goes ballistic! He is sure the idea is not Shalu's but Raja's! No way is he giving it up as he decorated it for her! besides if maa and dada ji find out his room has been asked for! he reacts Dhai is too good to be true sometimes people will soon start to take advantage ofher! Dhani defends it only a room , but viplav yells he knows what Raja is up to today he's asking for his room ,tomorrow he'll ask for the whole house! He knows his intentions wants to isolate Shalu from all her family.Dhani says do it for Shalu's happiness..if he thinks he won just by taking his room ,then let him and Viplav says dryly whatever can't win her.dhani packs and Viplav says he not leaving his basket ball..
Raja and Shalu arrive! and Raja sneers at viplav, sorry hes' having to leave this room.. he probably has many fond memories related to this room..viplav ignores him and walks past with his ball, shalu tells Dhani tell your husband she doesn't like people ignoring her husband..dhani replies he left as he was tired.. Shalu says next time explain to him. As Dhani leaves, Raja blocks her way and says sweetly, thanks you must be feeling bad in leaving this and dhani replies tersely such things matter to him not Viplav or her. Raja replies bitterly Viplav is the lawyer but the way she argues. Shalu replies she illiterate what can one expect from her, if she knew how to speak she would she be here? he says fine from now on he won't speak to her..
Bedroom politics! Dashrant dadi, Kanak surprised at seeing the bedroom swoop..all blame Shalu she's getting too big for her boots,great sympathy for Viplav! Kanak wants to sort Shalu but Viplav says, its ok if it gives his sister happiness why not ,besides it was Dhani's idea to give Shalu my room! The family leaves but Viplav bigs up his Dhani's good nature.. however he sulks openly wqhen asked to sort this newroom out. he replies he arranged that room especially for her and she gifted the whole room over as a wedding present to Shalu!. Dhani pacifies him.. for the sake of maintaining peace and harmony in home life , minor adjustments are made sometimes.. but he moans he worked hard put his heart into it! as this was the first time he got married!.ouchhh! that hurt Dhani and Viplav goes to her, but her link to her past marriage knocks at the door! He comes in holding her red sari on his palms, she left this in their room.. and Dhani snatches it from his hands with a shout ,best he doesn't touch her things! Raja continues this sari was lying on the floor in their room! He thought he'd better return it to her... Viplav glares at him coldly.. then grabs his collar and cusses him! and Raja replies ,back to you! he is the brother in law! Viplav looks at him murderously yanks back his am tight fisted ready to punch his face ! Shalu screams leave him! separates them and sneers at Viplav he should be ashamed of himself! hasn't she told him once not to raise his hand on him but still he does for trivial things! They leave and Viplav leaves his swapped room in a huff too!..
I didn't quite know what to make of this room swooping.. its in keeping with Raja's character to covet.. desire.. this time viplav's room.. viplav almost bust raja's lip..saved by the golden goose.. sorry its sooo looong.. why can't I write concisely???? hamlet53 6.4.16
