What attracted me to this show was the fact that it's based on vishkanya.A vishkanya is different from a Naagin.She is not a supernatural creature.Vishkanyas did exist in history.Chanakya is said to have created an army of Vishkanyas to protect Chandragupta Maurya.

Vishkanyas were basically young girls who were given diluted poison and bitten by venomous snakes from a very young age.By the time they grew up,they were immune to every kind of poison and were poisonous themselves.They were extremely beautiful and were sent to trap the enemies.And not every girl could become a vishkanya.Only those girls who were born under an unlucky star and fated for widowhood could become Vishkanyas.Lastly,they did not turn blue.

About Appu,I am still confused.How did she become a vishkanya?? It cannot be hereditary since her sister is normal.So,did Kalpana make her daughter a vishkanya through the age old process or is some magic involved??Only time will tell.I am sure that there will be a supernatural twist involved.

About Malay,well,he seems to be a free spirited guy.Charming and funny.I can see a rebellious streak in him.As much as I have seen and observed him,he seems to be a guy who gets whatever he sets his heart on.Determined to the core.Man,I am falling in love with him.And I know it's too early but I have a feeling that Malay will be crazy for Appu and love her passionately.

Vin Rana is perfect for Malay.When I came to know that Vin is the lead,I knew I have to watch this show at any cost.My Nakul from StarBharat😳

I am craving for a proper love story on TV now.Honestly,I have had enough of saas bahu dramas and kitchen politics for a lifetime.

Well I agree Vin is doing a fab job. He's playing Malay's role very well.

I like passionate stories 😳 But I wish he doesn't become obsessed. Passion and obsession are very different and I would like to see passion here.

You say Vishkanya's are fated to be widowed? You are scaring me Ashi Di. Malay shouldn't die. Maybe they'll show that true love can change the stars

Malay will never be an obsessive lover.He shall love Appu unconditionally.I think that Appu will try to distance herself from Malay once she discovers that she is a vishkanya but Malay won't allow it.

You don't have to be scared😆 Any girl can be turned into a vishkanya but only those girls were selected who were born under that star.I think that Kalpana turned Appu into a vishkanya for her revenge.

You are right.They should show how Malay-Appu's love will thrive and face all obstacles

nd malay will luv her intensly,thats fr sure...

I too liked Nakul's char in MB. And till now Vin is doing a good job as Malay, infact his char is quite an enjoyable char. The female lead too is pretty though not as Vishkanyas who were said to be extremely beautiful in histories.

But till now the char which impressed me most is Kalpana's char. She is an enigma. The actress playing this char has made it much more interesting than anyone else.

could not have said it better.

I wanted something different and this show is it. the malay and Apu is what draws me o this show, her innocense and his determination, also the entire feel of the show is different.

As for vishkanya i like the myth about them and i want to know how Apu became one. As for the mother that woman is a classic temptress, i also want to know what is the mystery behind these two family's hatred.

well i'm not regular viewer bt i watch it occasionally and i love the mystical essence this story have. its still a mystory that how appu turned out to be a vishkanya...i don't know if CVs r going to take statements of history... bt would love to see something like that... and yeah vin really looks handsome. appu looks so cute when she smiles... its so hard to believe that the secret hiding behind that smling face.
