Ok i know shaheer is handsome, all love devakshi, even i like them
But he should understand that if you first show dev's ignorance on the name of dev being workaholic, and when sonakshi starts getting irritated with his unprofessional attitude then writer puts some good points of dev in front of her by some servant and same happened with sonakshi's father whem he wanted to complain.
I know work is definitely important but making someone wait unnecessarily that is definitely unprofessionalism.
Just because he supports poor people by giving them job (its a very good deed), still it is not justified that for his mom he terminated her services in hospital, was he fair with her in a similar fashion what he is with his peon or driver.Yes he provided her driver for reaching home safely but what about her family time, as it is except for planning meal for his mom and nowadays his family sometimes she rarely has any work at that home, in fact i feel that she should just plan meal for whole day and stay only till dinner time for his mom and leave.
So my point of view is that scriptwriter very conveniently wants dev's slavery where first he shows his very ignorant or dominating attitude and before she starts getting irritated by it-hey she is not allowed to be irritated because dev had once done a favor on some person.
I know many haters are ready to bash for this post as their chemistry won't work if they don't meet often but as it is except for morning and evening they rarely meet during the whole day.

Don't know whether or not you will get bashed or not.
But I completely agree with you. CVs are trying to build a love story out of very weak premise I fear.
What about all the things that Dev has done to Sonakshi till now?? Are the CVs actually stupid enough to think that they can smoothly sweep all that below the carpet becoz of one sugar free cake????? In real life it's absolutely unthinkable and illogical.
But then Indian shows are not stickler for logic are they??
I'm patiently waiting for Dev to apologize to Sona.

So he apologized for kicking her out of her job on false grounds by abusing his power. So he apologized for choking out all her other job options. So he apologized for forcing her into accepting a job that was very much unacceptable for her. So he apologized for blaming her for his mom's foolishness and childishness for which he blew the roof top over her.
So he did apologize for destroying her coffee date by calling her repeatedly after duty hours.
Hmm when did it happen?? In which episode may I ask? 😃

yeah it's true concerning her job, he never apologised, maybe because he felt he was offering her a better salary and intends to give her back her post at the hospital with better conditions once she completes her work at his place, as he mentioned to the doctor in one of the episodes...
In trying to make Dev a complicated character, they are turning him as weird.
His character was beautifully portrayed regarding the cake incident, birthday scenes...
With today's attitude of making Sonakshi wait unnecessarily, that too dealing with the matter as futile just make him looked like having a personality disorder.

I completely agree with you. In my opinion the CVS are portraying dev as a highly contradictory character. And you're right, without any substantial interaction between the leads their relationship will be established on a very shaky foundation.
Dev's behavior with Sona is also highly unprofessional. I would consider a sincere apology one step forward for DevAkshi.

@nuckts - great post. I completely agree with you. CVs have made Sona not only Dev's slave but also Dev's mom's slave, listening to her taunts like an obedient servant and even asking the lady if she can do some extra work since she is paid a lot. Dev has also made Sona's family his slave because even if they want their daughter to have a personal life and get settled in life, they are helpless because their daughter is enslaved by Dev and family.
Instead of opening up Dev's goodness slowly, CVs decided to give him a makeover overnight. They are using random people to sing his praise. First a school teacher comes and spills his childhood greatness stories, then the peon comes when Sona's father was talking to Dev to give mithai and thank and heap praises on him, then chef comes next day to reveal what all great things Dev did to get a cake, and lastly the driver goes on at mid-night singing eloquent praise about Dev and comparing gold and brass.

On top of it Dev's Mom says 600 people work for him and 'white people' video conference with him. Sister says he is strict and workoholic.

So Sona is going to fall for him based on what she hears from two biased family members and random people singing praise of him. Why can't CVs let her make her own opinion of him through different events, slowly and surely? Why she has to listen to these random people singing his praise? Can't they come up with nice episodes (like the cake one) and slowly reveal his caring soft side to her? Without the Chef coming in the next day to explain his greatness? Let Sona figure it out na?

Strange script writing by CVs!

@ Anna - I think we are waiting in vain for those apologies. In order to apologize, he has to realize first. But CVs in stead of making him realize his mistakes are introducing random people to justify his actions. So basically the CVs think Dev did nothing wrong and need not apologize. Instead of these people coming and certifying Dev's character, they should have someone come and point out to Dev that what he did to Sona was wrong since Dev does not have the mental capacity to understand that. Now who can do that? Perhaps Dr. Sinha or some patient of Sona? But all those characters have vanished who could have helped Dev realize his mistake. Dev's mom is an arrogant proud lady who can never think her son can make mistakes; sisters are immersed in their world and have no time to think for others. So I think according to the CVs Dev is a Superman who is worshipped like God by all. And Sona will soon be another admirer of Dev Dixit.

@Diksha - He thinks she has a great job because he is paying her well. But in all she is a glorified servant in the Dixit house. And Dev does not care two hoots about her. Today's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. But our great CVs think he has repented because he said 'sorry' the next morning and Sona should forgive him because the Driver gave her an earful on Dev's magnanimity. I think the CVs are highly confused. Somehow they want to create this macho man image who is unfriendly towards a woman employee but in general a magnanimous person.

@Lily - CVs have made his character very inconsistent. I started a thread on that earlier. On the one hand he is shown to be a mature child, gone through a lot of adversity, with hard work built his own company, loves his family and workers. But on the other hand he forgets everything about an employee who works in his house. One day he moves heaven and earth to get a cake for her, next day he asks her to wait for him and then forgets about it. Then casually says its not a big deal. What are the CVs trying to portray him as? Definitely he has personality disorder and selective amnesia.

After what Dev did in tonight's episode it will be kind of forced to see him getting attracted towards Sona in a yellow sari so soon. That is just not possible CVs. Please understand CVs. His behavior does not show he likes or respects Sona. At first there has to be realization of wrongdoing, then repentance, then respect, followed by admiration, then liking, and then love will come.

Shaheer and Erica are so charming and refreshing faces on TV. Please give them a good script to deliver. This flip flop is not doing justice to their characters.

P.S. Why Dev is asking his sister why she needs to feed Siddhu? In their family that is quite common. He eats from his mother's hand. i have never seen any grown up man eating from mamma's hands. So if he can do that, why not Siddhu?

Guys don't worry. If my instinct is right CVs are gonna mess it up more from Dev's side. In precap that Kushal is talking of shifting to Mumbai.
Let me bet, this Dev is gonna propose Sona without asking Ishwari telling if marriage is the problem for her , he will marry her 😆😆😆.
He is going to screw Sona left and right.
Now don't take me wrong I somehow feel the parallel of Dev and Sona with respect to Khatri and Ishwari.
Khatri's has exploited Ishwari's weakness for sure. Her desperation to have money to send her son to school, maybe to buy medicines, food for her kids. And whatever he extracted from her in her desperation is not something which Ishwari wants the world to know. It can be a one night stand, or as someone said a death because of the tussle between them or something else. And based on that one incident Khatri is blackmailing Ishwari. Ishwari lives in perpetual fear of that truth coming out. Khatri still holds the power on her. Whatever Ishwari did that day was for the benefit of Dev and she thought what she did was right from that perspective. But the action is haunting her now.
Dev is exactly doing the same. In the name of love for his mother he feels he is justified in screwing up Sona's life. Ishwari doesn't know the extend at which Dev has screwed her up. Sona knows the level at which he is screwing her up, she shouts, but at some point she too succumbs now.
I feel the paths will meet where we will see the difference of Khatri and Dev and also Sona and Ishwari. That line will be thin.
But in that thin line lies the victory of good over evil. Difference of Dev-Sona relation and Khatri-Ishwari relation.

@Shruthi

@red

What! Then it will be a hate marriage or forced marriage? Nothing is impossible from these CVs. But then the promos that I fell for will make no sense. In promos they showed he could not marry her due to Mom's objections. But these CVs have amnesia. They probably forgot the promos. So what you are saying can happen. Just to make the leads stay in the same house. But in that case it has to be forced as he does not respect or like Sona yet. He has shown no interest or attraction for her. Same ghissa pita Hindi soap kahani.😭

@blue

I don't think she realizes anymore. She is quite enjoying her slavery or should I say housekeeping job at Dixit residence! What a superb script by CVs. Girl with self-respect and dignity being enslaved but forgives good looking rich owner based on servants' versions. Wah Wah!

@purple

I don't think CVs can think at that high level you are thinking. They will just show Sanskari adarsh bahu saving husband's family from evil. Same old! 😡
