You know what I hate it when guys say you can work after marriage, I am very open blah blah...It is as if they have decided what a woman should do or should not. And know this Mr Roy was speaking as if he was doing some charity on Sona. That it is really great thing if you allow a woman to work post marriage.
Well we dont need charities. Whether to work or not post marriage is solely a woman's decision and if a man is going to see a woman who is working it is better he understands that she wants to work post marriage and dont give it as a charity.

And look what this so called liberal man ends up doing. If a guy calls a woman more than once he is her boy friend. How sickening. She is a working lady man. A collegue can call her. From office sometimes call can come. And there are men where she works.

Dev has messed up Sona's professional life with his unprofessional comment and now he has messed up her personal life too giving a character assasination for her.

Yes Roy was wrong. I didnt like without knowing anything he accused Sona. But Dev is more the culprit. In his mama mania he has tarnished both the personal and professional reputation of a young aspiring girl.

I just hope he gets for it. Poora bundle both at personal and professional sphere.

I am happy Dev saved Sona from getting married to that Mama's boy Mr.Roy. Dev is open about his Mama mania He is obsessed with his mother and he very freely carried that tag . But Mr Roy? How sugar coated his words are. He literally mislead Sona by posing like a man with principles. And what did he do? Without even confirming who the caller was he told his mother that a boy friend existed for Sona. Actually if he marries Sona he would definitely make her sit at home and worship his mother. Ofcourse Sona will never tolerate such person before marriage or after marriage. Sruti as usual I agree with all your points except that for me Dev is the saviour and though he is wrong in calling her again and again,I have a smile on my face seeing that pretentious Mr Roy leave Sona and I know it is her good luck that it happened thus. Surely she deserves much better life partner even if he is egoistic, impulsive and overpowering. For though he is a Mama's boy he wears his heart on his sleeve. Not fake but genuine to a great extent.

Lakshmi I am happy Sona escaped Mr Roy, but the fact that her parents had to hear a false accusation. See I want Dev to face false accusation both professionally and personally and see how it feels. Dev need some corrections but he is more genuine than the so called sugar coated Mr Roy.

To be honest I found it weird that why on earth Sona didn't clarify it instantly with Mr Roy that it was a worried client calling n he's panicked about his mother this much information could've been enough to ensure that there's no confusion. To be absolutely honest had it been the opposite scenario I'd have reached the same conclusion that Mr. Roy has a gf or something like that who's calling her repeatedly. Not because a a person from opposite gender calling her repeatedly but because why wouldn't the girl explain who the hell is calling her 5 times in 10 minutes n she is picking up the phone every damn time??
It looked fishy n therefore simply can not blame Mr Roy for reaching the deduction he reached.
Why the hell Sona did not keep her phone switched up when she's supposed be concentrating on knowing a candidate for future life partner?? My sympathy for Mr. Roy because it was extremely rude of Sona to do that with him. It just cried aloud the message that hey I'm not invested into this casual date n I don't think it's important enough to know you.
Mr. Roy's mom is right. Every one works but that doesn't mean you've the right to be impolite.
Also though I didn't like the high n mighty manner in which he declared he's an open minded n liberal man who'd let his wife work but still I liked the fact that he also admitted that his mom is not at all open minded n also said that he's ready to go against his mom's wish to let his wife work.
Now imagine Dev in this situation. Can anyone even imagine Dev doing the same thing or even saying that he'll support Sona in doing something that his holy mom does not approve of??
There we go.

Also I think it was stupid of her to leave the table to pick up the last phone call. Even when I leave the room in my home where I'm sitting with mom dad later they invariably ask me why I left the room. Whatever she was saying to Dev she could've as well said in front of Dilip easily. Yeah may be this time she intended to be a bit strict with Dev so that he doesn't call back again but still.
Plus nowadays she acts like she's Dev's home slave or something. Her father is absolutely right that her personal time is her personal time she need not attend to matters related to Ishwari every damn time in 24\7.
And yes she's completely within her rights to leave early for a single day post informing.
She's bending herself over backwards for this job n does she realise that no body in Dikshit house appreciate that? She needs to learn how to draw a line between personal n professional life. This is crucial for a person or your profession will chew out your family life n marital life no matter which gender u belong to.
Loved that she gave Dev a bit of mind the next morning but of course Dev also gave her back as good.
Good. Should teach her a lesson. Why should she give a damn about what Ishwari thinks about her?? Because she'll not cooperate like Dev feared?? Then it's time for Sona to be ruthlessly stern with both mom n son. Or she totally deserves to be treated like crap which is how she's being treated there.

@Anna you are in full flow. I feel you were quite angry after seeing the episode. Dev shouts at Sona too much. Do your job well. I also wish Dev gets it back from somewhere. I really want him to get back. Both personal and professional false accusations. Or better one of his sisters should be in the position Sona is.
Both mom and son need some solid lesson on manners.

And I don't think Dilip left because he thinks Sona has a boyfriend. It seemed to me that he left out of annoyance n his annoyance is completely justified. We shouldn't say he thought Sona has a bf because we don't know for sure do we??
It was his mom who called and said all that didn't she?? So quite possibly it's her own deduction after hearing it all from her son. Also she was furious because of how her son has been treated.
When it comes to their son's all mothers react similarly. Is Ishwari any different?? Didn't she mind when her son is called dumb??

@Shruti more than Dev this time I'm mad at Sona only. She's just not invested into this match. Completely agree with Dilip's mom that had it been important for her she'd have arranged time for it. If this is the situation before marriage why'd any guy care to marry this girl who's so obsessed with her patients n job??
It's also Sona's parent's fault instead of always supporting her daughter they should've scolded her more for doing this with Dilip n picking up the phone at all.
Not always entertaining your patient's every beck n call even if she's rich n influential doesn't make you a bad doctor. Yes this is coming from a person who's herself as well her father uncle n grand father are doctors. This is part of professional training.
Poor Dilip. He was the only one among the two of them who seemed to be brimming with enthusiasm over this match. I was feeling so bad for him.
Loved how Mr. Bose pointed out Dev's faults in this matter. I wish he gets a chance to say all that on Dev's face.
Good point about Dev's sisters. One of them works now.
So imagine some client messing up Riya's match fixing date what'd be Dev's reaction?? He'll see red definitely.
I so so badly want him to face the situations he's ruthlessly putting Sona into.

I don't think Sona is treated like crap by Dev's family. Except Iswari every one is polite with her. Even Neha who is otherwise rude respects her and shares her feelings.Riya is career oriented but she also never treated Sona like crap. And the youngest one plays shuttle I think and as for Dev Sona willingly became his employee and gradually started understanding his inner goodness. And why wouldn't she bother if Iswari misunderstands her due to her slip of tongue.Naturally she will feel embarrassed what would his mother feel if her son is called dumb. And just because Sona did not inform Mr Roy about the caller he should not come to conclusion that he is her boyfriend. And it is just their first date. That won't give Mr Roy the previlege to know the personal matters of Sona. Yes her job is personal. Her client is her personal issue. She need not talk before him to ensure that it is not her boyfriend calling.Sona is dedicated. She will go out of her way to cure her patients. She never thinks that she has to maintain timings and be available only then. And she also knows it is her responsibility to take care of Iswari through out and is paid for that only. She did a good thing by not switching off the cell phone.I would like to remind myself that she is not that serious about that rishta and told her mother also. Only time she feels hopeful is when Mr. Roy is making fake promises that he will let her work this that what not? By the way who is he to allow her continue with the job? She is Dr. Sonakshi . She only can decide whether to continue or not.

Dev's sisters need not play a part in treating Sona poorly simply because of how less time they spend with Sona. Even then Neha was very much rude with her on the first interaction.
Mother son duo is enough to give her hell. It's probably Ishwari's life's mission nowadays to think out new ways to make her job n life difficult. Ohh take care of my son's health n cure him of his bad habits though you're not allowed to scold him or lovingly make him understand. Great! Though I know very well how he's gonna react if you try n guess what if u defy me I'll not cooperate n then my son will blow the roof by yelling at you.
She called her a maid in front of her friends n taunts her on her taking too much money while pretending as if it's not her son only who absolutely pinned her to accept this job.
It'll be an omnibus if I've to narrate all their antics.
I'm not even going what a jerk Dev is being with Sona on a daily basis. Anyone who watches the show with an open eye knows that well enough.
Dilip never said or thought Sona has a bf. It's his mom who's thinking so.
And Sona works for them with a fixed duty hours n she's entitled to leave early for a day after doing her allotted job. She should've absolutely kept her phone switched off during the date to just respect the manners of behaving in such a situation n also to respect the time Dilip who's a businessman made for her.
It looked as if even Dev wants her to cook which is better than calling her to ask how much salt to add!!
Also I might've missed the bit where Dilip said hereby I gave you permission to work. All he did was assuring his future wife that I approve of working post marriage also warned her against his mom n her mentality but assuring Sona that he'll support her. I found the gesture very genuine because he correctly guessed that it might be a big issue after marriage for Sona and therefore they need to talk about it. It made me respect him that he didn't think about talking only about what's their favorite movie n what's their favourite hobby n what's their favourite food.
Also it was not necessary to give Dilip full biodata of Dev n mom. Just saying a patient is calling repeatedly as he's anxious about his mother would've sufficed. But it's absolutely necessary n a must for maintaining courtesy that you explain why you're repeatedly attending to phone calls in such a set up.
