I want to last like Shilpa" - Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif on Shilpa: "Ask any young actress and she'll tell you that she wants to dance like Shilpa. Ask any young actor and he'll tell you he wants to dance with Shilpa. But ask me, and I'll tell you I want to last like Shilpa. This is a very sharp, competitive and aggressive industry and any artist who blinks twice is asked to pack up. In such an environment, Shilpa Shetty has not just survived for more than 15 years, she has dominated. Fact is that a female actor in our industry has a very short shelf life. But Shilpa disagrees and makes her point by being there and still doing so well after many many years. So yeah, ask me again and I'll tell you again that longevity is the biggest virtue here and I want to stay here like Shilpa has.

Being with her in APNE was a delight. She always treated me like an equal, asking me how a particular dialogue sounds when said like this or is it better when said like that. And she always had the answers when I had the questions. So Shilpa and I moved a bit away from being co-actors and became, which is so rare, good friends. The one thing about Shilpa, though she herself might not know it, is that she made her vast experience very accessible for me to draw upon and create what I have attempted in APNE. Thanks Shilpa, I owe you one."

awwwwww kat. Shilpa started her career as number 1. I used to love Shilpa's old days like in 90's.

But ughhhhhhhhh kat 🤢 , you'll never be Shilpa. No offense to Kat fans.

why can't she be! Katrina is much prettier but i like shilpa too
but Kat is exotic and fresh looking

its nice to see 2 actresses getting along for a change. it was kind of shilpa to lend a genuine helping hand to Kat [could be b/c of salman tho 😆 ]...but i hope kat career is better than shilpa since she was a flop actress b4 big BRO. Kat is gorgeous just needs brush up her acting skills😃
