Raman was stunned listening to ishita's words.Both were Solent and were looking to each other without blinking eyes and were thinking what has happened now .
Raman recalled ishitas words and spoke in sheer anger " what you spoke just now .you feel guilty when you call or think that I m your husband .where was this guilt madam when you were marrying me ,when you were taking those vows of nuptial bond around the sacred fire .why don't you thought this that time ,that if you will marry me how will you face your sister.let me make it very clear madam I m not a seat of public bus in which someone will keep hanky and it will be his till he reaches his destination ,I m a human being god damn it.A living being who has life,who has his own will.I can think and can choose anybody for me .got that .
Ishita didn't spoke anything but she simply kept looking at him while the rivers of tears were flowing continuesly from her eyes .
R( again)- if you had forgotten let me remind you again ,it was not me but your sister who ran away from the marriage ,it was your sister who advised and forced you to marry me to save the dignity of our families ,it was you who married me without my concent .I agree I behaved rude on that day ,I agree I don't wanted you in my life,I agree we didn't had any ties in last one year but fate again brought us face to face and now we are together .Now slowly our relationship is blooming ,I started accepting you as my wife ,I wanted to move further in life with you and again this shagun .I m trying to forget her but seems she will always be there in my life as a bad dream.
I( crying bitterly )- you are so right but still she is my sister .How can I throw her from my life as she was never there ,I had lived twenty two years of my life with her .
R( with teary eyes)- yup you are right ,how can you forget her as she is your sister .ok its alright then ,I m the newest addition in your life and moreover I was not with you in these day so it will be easy for you to forget me .
I( crying more )-I never told that I want to forget you I can't.
R- ishita I m very confused ,be prescise what you want .
I- I don't know ,I really don't know .I want you but as mine not hers.you were her groom ,you were marrying her ,on that day you told me that you can never thought any other girl as you wife except shagun akka .
R- you remember what I told you one year back but you don't remember what I told you one month back .let me remind you madam if you forget ,i assured you that " now i can give you shahun place ".Does my words don't have any worth for you .
I- i recall that but still ,think what will i answer to her if i ever meet her .
Raman was getting irritated listening to shaguns name again an again ,he took a deep breath and spoke " you don't have to answer her ,but she has to answer me ,that if she was not interested in marraige why she agree .why she created all this mess.if she would have denied for the marraige we all were spared .We should have been saved of going through such pain ,pain of betrayal ,pain of cheating ,pain of parting ,pain of guilt and every pain we are going through.
I- you are right ,but it had already happened na.
R- that's what I m saying ishita .Now it all had happened ,we got married ,we tried to be apart but again we met and now living together as we both want to give another chance to this marraige .
I- humm.
R- but it seems that i only want to move you don't as you are still stuck with shagun ,who is actually the cause of all the mess .
I- yes i know that and i m trying to move but can't because of my guilt ,my insecurities and your rejection .
R- I know earlier I denied you make you a part of my life ,I agree that I had told you to go from my life but you or should I say your family also didn't take any initiative to send you back to my house .
I- ( angrily)- who would have took initiative ,my appa died on the very next day when you left me ,shagun akka was already gone ,vandu akka has to go with jiju ,only my amma was left alone,how could I leave her and think about myself .You think life is so easy for me ,no Raman no my life is not that easy of yours.
R- I know .
I- no you don't ,its so easy for you ,once you throw me from your life and after one year all of a sudden you come to my life and want me to move ahead with you without thinking what was our equation in past .
R- nope I m not saying its easy ,even it was not easy for me too .After you had gone ,I was so disturbed ,though I myself had send you from my life but I was not able to live peacefully after I send you .you can never feel what I felt that time ,I was angry but at the same time I somewhere in my heart I was guilty of doing that bad to you .After some days I thought that if your father will come to us I will bring you back but no body ever showed up from your side that added to my anger more.And when I saw you that day in my office I was shocked as well as angry so I hired you as my PA but slowly as we spend time together I started liking your company and when mihir insisted that we can start our married life from here .I gave a second thought to my decision and trying genuinely,but seems madam is so worried about her shagun akka that she don't want to live her life.
I( crying )- why are you saying so ,I do want to move but ...
R- ( angrily)but what but ,just tell me one thing if your shagun akka will never come back ,will you wait for her ever and one more thing ishita she is your sister ,I m not bounded to her in any way.you are answerable to her I m not.See ishita I agree I had done bad with you in past but noe I want to fix everything and I m trying too but seems you want to stuck with your past.And ishita let me clear one thing again i m not a dress or fashion product which you sister can pass to each other so be very clear that even if we don't have any relation and shagun returns ,you and she never keep a doubt that I will ever go back to her because she has betrayed me and ditched me .May be today I want you to be my wife but that will never change my hatered towards her .
Ishita was standing like a statue sobbing silently listening to him ,he gave her an angry glared and spoke again " ishita I m very much clear about what I want in my life and now its your turn to choose .you want to lead a happy married life with me or want to stuck with your sister who went leaving you all for her so called modelling carrier .you think,decide and tell me what you want ,if you want me then its alright and if you want to leave me then also tell me ,I will yell my lawyer to get divorce paper ready so that we can have our divorce asap and you will be free from all the accusations,guilt and me too.
I- you want divorce ?.
R- nope ,I m telling this to make it easy for you.So that you will never feel that I had alone decided the fate of this marriage .
I- are you angry from me .
R- ( angrily making a dirty face )- no,I m so happy .I should be happy na as today I come to know that for my wife ,her ranaway sister is more important than her husband .I m so happy because my wife is hesistant to call me as her husband .
Saying so raman went towards window and stood there pretending to look outside but actually he was hiding his tears which welled up his eyes ,as he was tired of making ishita understand ,assuring her that he is her only .He closed his eyes and the tears started flowing from his eyes ,he wiped them but in vein a new set of tears rolled again from.his eyes .
On the other hand ishita was standing in middle of room ,crying bitterly recalling all the happening in her mind and deciding her life .Suddenly his phone ranged ,he picked the call and spoke angrily " mihir I m very upset ,I will call you later ."
Ishita can't listen mihirs conversation but listened Raman's voice " nothing ,I m very tensed ,i told you na ,don't do experiments ."
R( again almost crying)- nope ,mihir she don't want me in her life.Will you come to my place ,we will have some drinks so that I can forget everything .
Saying so he walked towards the door when he felt grip on him ,he noticed that she was back hugging him circling her arms to his chest .He tried to loose her grip when he geard her saying " please don't go .don't leave me like this ,i want you ,i need you .i m choosing you over her ."
Raman was so happy to listen those words from her but to assure himself ,he spoke
" ishita you are not forced ,its not that i want your answer now itself ,take your time ,think thoroughly and tgen decide .
I- i don't want to think much ,i had decided.
Saying so she went in front of him ,tiptoed and pressed her lips on his.he was surprised by her sudden action but soon he started responding. Soon they were kissing each other hungrily ,fighting for dominance.at last they broke the kiss in need of air.
She kept her head on his chest.he wounded his arms around her and kissed her forehead ,she closed her eyes to feel his touch .They were trying to feel each other in their embrace when his phone rang,it was mihir again .Raman picked the call " hello ,haan mihir."
Listening to mihirs name ishita recalled that raman had made plan to have drink with mihir .she immediately raised her head and shook her head negatively ,as if stopping him to go .Raman saw this ,he smiled looking to her and spoke " mihir actually I m so tired today ,meet you tomorrow."
Ishita smiled fully listening to him ,he hung up the call .she again hide herself in him .They remain in same position feeling each other .
