Why do people still believe in all sort of superstitions ? Because people themselves created it...it only creates fear among people...people write their own fate...how one reacts for an action decides what will happen in their life...sari being torn or not will not stop raja from creating more and more problems for dhani...it depends on how dhani reacts that's what will decide her fate.

Great post Mag...

This show does give mixed messages. This show is set in a very religious city and

it should encourage people to believe in their God not all these superstitions.

But we are brainwashed to believe that bad things will happen but we forget that we are also taught that faith in God will overcome all evil.

There is another way to look at the sari being torn, that Dhaani will be torn free of her

past from these evil in-laws and be free to move forward.

Dulari is easily swayed by her over anxious nature to look at things that are dark and never bright for her and her daughter.

Yea Mag..I feel sometime they are giving wrong message showing all these superstitions. First time i saw ppl considering saree tearing as apshagun..

That too she wored color saree today for showing this only

Hope they will stop showing these kind of scenes..we are in 21st century and no one will take it as bad sign

I despise this "apshakun" scenes in hindi soaps...

Just for the sake of "creative liberty "the cvs some time incorporate bad omen scenes in serials...

Most of the bad omen scens are illogical and silly...
