Today Dulari gave a start and with a shock announced that tearing of the border of Dhani's red sari was a bad omen. Somehow I think that it is not an appropriate message which is being conveyed. Tomorrow Dhani will be arrested and so do the writers want us to make a connection between that and the torn sari border? True that Badiamma reminded Dl that times have changed but this association will still play on our minds. Once before too before Shambhu was murdered the diya broke and DL voiced a similar concern.
This show should be breaking the stereotypical thoughts and beliefs entrenched in the minds of people not do the opposite.
This is just my POV.

Hi Mag ,

I agree that stereotypes and inauspicious omens etc should be condemned . Remember that black cat episode.

But the reality is that such beliefs exist and not going away .

So recently I had to take delivery of my new car and was told to come and collect it on Day X . When I mentioned this to someone back home I was told oh reschedule as that is not a good day of the week. I never ever think of such things but now someone put that keeda in my mind it kept churning in my head and I went ahead to change the day .

What I am saying that this is rampant and very hard to get rid off specially if the bad thing does happen . Good that Badi Amma said this is rubbish .

The show some times gives confusing signals 🤔
Started off as a show with a progressive theme n the dialogues were also unique...
I think it must be only to show dulari's point of view...she has a limted vision..she is an illiterate, regressive and impulsive woman who had a traumatic past...also a pessimist..
The other day also she was mentioning about apshakun thing when the diya she brought was broken..

Ultimately viplav will free dhani ...and all the safed gang from the clutches of superstitions n blind beliefs n make them believe in themselves, their right to create their destiny ...I think that is the crux of the show... :)

i undestand wat u saying even my percption was same but few moments later i realise she's stopping marriage n Viplov will save her honor n will clear her name from the false blame she s carrying for last 1 yr is in no way a bad thing happening,,going to jail is a temporary thing n we as a viewer should see the broader picture of this scenario,,😳
so i dont think they are promoting this auspicious thing,, Viplov will stand by her no matter some apshagun happen or not,, wat else one should need,,😃

Very well said about Dulaari and her limited view of the world . But my point was also despite being progressive each of us do get influenced by these things . It's the fear in us which makes us gullible .

Sensible post Mag !!
They should revolutionize theory by breaking stigmatized myth behind all those terms .So far IRKS stirred some golden messages through their episodes. I do hope Cvs making her character bit wide open rather going on delusional mode..!

but viplav is with her. and now all the stigma from her past will be washed off. she wont have to hide or fear anything. so no apshagun in fact it is lucky for her.
