OS : HIS SOULMATE
Siya plucked flowers from the garden for pooja while ram was lost in his own thoughts.
He gazed her from top to bottom and recalled their first meeting. How beautifully she looked that day, clad in a white with red saree.
He smiled, thinking of how he felt on that day, when his eyes met hers for the first time. It was an out of the world feeling for him. He had already been awestruck by her character which he had known out of many circumstances before and that was the first time when he was dumbfounded by her beauty too. He was lost every time when he thought of that moment.
A smile appears on his face automatically, whenever her innocent and composed face flashes his eyes. Every time when he meets her,her glowing face, charming smile and motherly care make him forget everything. He was recalling all the moments they shared from their first meet till then.
He came back to the present and saw her once again, now she was wearing a simple orange saree. That was the only difference he could find ,as her face never missed the glow and her smile wasn't devoid of the charm,
He knew that she is very much happy with this simple life still he couldn't take that up fully.
Sita, " For the past ten minutes, you are staring at me" she said with a smile,still looking at the flowers.
Ram didn't react. She smiled and turned to look at him expecting to get an love filled look from him. But was surprised to see his expressionless face.
She kept the flower basket aside and went near him,
Sita, "Swami, ...what happened? " , she asked worriedly.
Ram didnot answer.
Sita, "Are you worried about Pitaji?", she questioned.
Before he answers, she continued, " Everything that happens is for a reason, I am not going to say anything that is unknown to you Swami...
But I know one thing for sure...
Pitaji's happiness lies in your happiness, you two are connected by heart, if you are happy,he will feel it and eventually that gives him contentment. If you are sad....."
He always like how she consoles him and elevates his mood, whatever being the problem...
he nodded his head in negative indicating that he wasn't thinking about his father at that moment.
Sita, " then why you look worried ? ", she sat beside him and asked again.
He hesitated to say, knowing the consequences.
she understood him.
Sita, " So, Iam the reason of you feeling down , right ?" ..she asked worriedly.
Ram "Nothing like that Sitae", he struggled to proceed further as she caught his thoughts correctly
she stood up and started to walk.
Ram followed her and continued, "I wish You and Lakshman had stayed in the Palace, I know you both love me a lot but please understand that even I Love you both equally. I cant see you like this..." he was interrupted this time.
Sita , " Do you think, we are not happy now? ", she asked with grief struck face.
Ram , " It is not like that Sita, I want you to be happy in every possible way, as you deserve that... It tears my hear when I see you struggling or if something hurts you... "
Sita, " I have said you already that I love this simple life in forest. As I always feel connected to the Nature much, it gives a feel as if I am with my mother,... I love this life...
Secondly, I have a person who always respects me,cares for me and treats me like his mother, my Lakshman, here in this forest along with me.
And above all I have a person who loves me more than anyone and in every possible way.A person who prioritises my happiness above his. A person who lifts all my sorrows in his shoulder, my pati, my Swami here wit me,then what makes you think that I am not happy here? , "
Ram , " You are missing your sister's love , from whom you have never been parted a single day. Even though you are happy, our this life would have definitely shaken your parents. I can understand in what state they would have been, after hearing that you are accompanying me to the forest... ...
Sita gave him a stern look...
He paused for few seconds and continued
"And my Lakshman, he has left his own family behind, just to serve me... You two have done nothing other than loving me, is this you deserve for showering love on me?...
Do you think that I can take all these easily Sita"
Sita, " If we have done nothing but loving you, then what have you done? You have loved and cared for everyone then Why do you deserve this Swami?..."
Ram, "Its my fate Sita, I take this as a chance given by God to make me understand many things in the course of life...that is different...but you could have changed yours and your parent's fate...
Maharaj Janak and Rani Sunaina would not have suffered much, if you had taken the decision of staying in the palace...?.
Do you remember Sita, I have promised your parents that I will always keep you happy... But now... "
Ram was not convinced ...
Sita, "Swami ,...I will take your words, you have promised my parents that you will make ME happy always and not them, right?,.. I am happy whenever and wherever I be with you...We are here with you out of our immense love for you and why do you have to worry about us... .."
Ram, " Dont the feeling of your parents sufferings there,makes you sad Sita "
Sita, " It will,... but whatever is to Maharaj Dhasarath, goes to my father too, ' Everything is happening because of a reason' and they should and I hope they will understand this.... "
She repeated...
Sita, "that's the fate my Lord... I pray to God everyday to give strength to our families for tackling all these.... "...
Ram , "But why do you want to give them such pain Sita .."
Sita ," ......"
Ram , " Why you two sacrificed everything for me... ...? "
She started crying and raised her voice...
Sita , " Because I love you Swami,...Yes I could have stayed in the palace, but do you think I would have been happy there separated from you...My parents would have been hurt now and that obviously bothers me but definitely not more than the sorrow that sticks me when I am away from you...Do you think I can live without you?...Even after everything happened, you are concerned for my happiness...You had an idea of leaving me behind which I couldn't even think of. I know you cant be happy a single moment without me yet you were ready for that just for my sake, my parents and my sisters's happiness. ...When I have got an Husband who was ready to leave his soul away from him, just for me.. ...
do you think I will leave him?...
Ram cried while she said this,
Sita,"..you can't stop a wife from doing her duties.... "
She cried again...
Sita, "I will be with you always, be it a forest or palace...if I am with you, even hell will become my heaven...
after a pause,she said , "Now is that clear to you Swami? ..."
Ram didnt reply...
Sita,"Not convinced yet?....."
Sita started to be a bit harsh
Sita, "OK , you call me selfish or whatever you want, I am here for my happiness.
I don't want to know whether you are happy with my decision or not, but I will be alive when I am with you, if you even think of being away from me, I am dea..."
He rushed to her and closed her mouth from saying that...
Ram, "Dont say that ever in you life,I repeat, dont tell that again...
I wont let that happen, Before you, I would hav ben dea..."
She took off his hand, "I may sound rude, but I wish to live long and that is why I am here...
If it hurts you, seeing me daily here, then I ll stay away... Far Away from you, so that you can't see me but... But I will definitely see you daily by any means...
"
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she said this... She was about to leave...
He can't see her distancing herself from him... He felt the earth has stopped rotating... His breath stopped for seconds...Just then he realized that he would not have lived a single moment if Sita hadn't accompanied him..
He rushed and stopped her from leaving... hugged her as tight as he could.

Ram,".....don't go Sitae...don't leave me...

He gasped...
He touched her cheeks and made her look him...
Ram "I know my words broke your heart,it did break mine too,...

Sita was not ready to give in...

She pushed him...
Ram, "Sitae,,,...
where are you leaving?..."
Sita, "somewhere, why do you bother?...."
She said holding him tight...
Ram, "..."
Sita, "you wanted me to stay away from you and be happy right ... Leave me now.. I ll satisfy your wish..."
She said like a kid,just her lips said those words but she was still holding him more closer,..
Ram, "OK... Go... ."
She was shocked and looked at him...
Ram, "take me with you wherever you go..."
She nodded in negative saying she wont take him with her.
Ram," are you so strong to leave me ?... Janakputri "

that melted her heart, she couldnt continue her drama anymore and gave into his demand...
Sita," NOT EVEN ONCE IN ANY BIRTHS "...
Sita hugged him.
He pulled her closer.
Ram, "Even I can't live without you my dear... You are in every cell of mine... Even though I asked you to stay there, I am sure that couldn't have worked practically. You are my life's soul and heart's beat. I am nothing without you. You define my life...
She smiled...
As i said earlier, this life is given to me by God for understanding many things which includes the pure, selfless and divine Pati-Patni relationship too. I got to know the depth of your love for me during this vanvaas..."
Sita drenched his dress with her happy tears... And hugged him tightly...
Sita, "don't you know this earlier...why did you hurt me today... .. .."
Ram, "I promise that I won't repeat it again, just understand that out of immense love I requested you to..."
Sita, "you deserve a punishment..."
She said with a false anger...
Ram, " you punishment will be a reward to me..."
Sita smiled, "is it so?. Ok my punishment is,I am going to complain this to Lakshman..."
Ram, "hey Sitae, no no,... Don't do this... I can't face my brother's anger... I am innocent..." he made faces...
She smiled and hugged him..
Sita, "hereafter I don't want to see your sad ridden face..."
He moved his has over her waist and made her face him
Ram, "never..."
He whispered in her ears that gave her shivers...
Ram," soul mates, we are.... "
Sita nodded her head affirmatively
after few minutes of loosing themselves in each others embrace,..
Ram," at last you said that to me... "
Sita," what did I say... "
Ram," that you love me..., "
Sita look down as his intense gaze burnt her heart...
Sita," don't you know that earlier? "
She asked in a low voice...
Ram," I know,.. But you never said that to me in person.... "
Ram," always I wish I were that horse to whom you opened up your feeling... I wish I were the dove, whom you hold close to your heart and kiss everyday...and.... "
She stopped him...
Sita, "are you possessive...."
Ram, "obviously yes..."
Sita, "why so?..."
Ram, "it took me these many days to hear this proposal of love from you.,but lucky those horse and doves , which are always in your embrace. enjoying your kisses and pamper"
he kidded.
Sita grew more shy...
Ram, "donno how many years will it take for me to get a....."
She understood what he meant...
Sita kissed his cheeks,stopping him from completing the sentence...
Ram was surprised to see his wife bolder and through his gaze he cast love spell on her in return for the kiss...
Ram, "now it's my turn...
He pulled her hair to one side and neared her cheeks...
Unable to tackle his gaze and close proximity, she ran away...
He smiled at her wife's shyness even after many years of marriage and togetherness
