I fail to understand why is Mihir so anti cricket. He seems to be doing everything in his control to make her stop playing or getting in touch with the game.

He told cable guy not to put sports channel n he stopped kids from playing before their marriage.

Why was he so desperate to marry Dharaa? He lied to her about playing kabhi kabhi only to get a yes and now is lying about everything related to cricket. That train accident story was also such a sham. He weaves sympathetic stories to cover his connivances. I'm so intrigued to know why he is doing all this, he could've married some total homely girl then if all he wanted was a housewife who stayed miles away from cricket..why did he choose Dharaa inspite of knowing she played cricket?

Mihir is a possessive man He try to control Dharaa in every respect ...It is a disease which Mihir was suffering...

He was attracted to Dharaa seeing her somehow he wanted to marry her

Mihir only loved Dhara's looks & wanted to get her body at any cost even if it means to lying to her about playing cricket. Forget about cricket, he does not even want her to mingle with anyone in the building. As for the possessiveness, all men are possessive but Mihir is not only possessive but also obsessive about Dhara. He wants to control her life.

Mihir is very childish and insensitive. I still have a feeling that there is some story again for marrying dharaa. Or he is just a man having some sort of serious psychological problems.
