The Pace
So I was a bit concern about Star Plus announcing that all their shows will now air 7 days a week. I'm concern for the cast and crew getting enough rest and wondering if any of the storylines will suffer.
So far so good in that department...I think Silsila Pyaar Ka has been able to keep me interested. I'm noticing the scenes are longer so it gives time for some proper development. Though I worry if later it may become draggy.
Though I understand right now the major focus is on Raunak & Munmun engagement with Kajal + Sakshi equation...I hope some other storylines develop soon for the other family members. Hope to see more Vinay and Neeti since they are the other couple getting married soon.
Personally I think Vinay is a cutie pie and wouldn't mind seeing more of him 😳
The Three Witches
If we don't already have a Janki Devi we have to also get a wannabe Janki out of Munmun 😆She seriously thinks she can outsmart Janki Devi? I really want Janki to squish her like a bug. But have to handle it to Munmun right now she is starting off well in this game. Creating a misunderstanding that will have Janki on her side and possibly have Raunak question Kajal. She seriously deserved that slap that Kajal gave her. And I already see a psycho in the making 😆 the look she gave. I see this girl doing harm to poor lil Sakshi 😕
And 👏 for the actress that plays her. I saw her on Pavitra Rishta playing a positive character and back then she was a pretty bad actress. But it looks like she improved or maybe she is just better suited to play these vampish evil roles 😆
Munmun's mother is just useless in a comicalish way.
Janki hasn't really been planning anything right now. Hope the we see Janki in form again in the coming episodes...how she is going to separate Raunak and Kajal. She is a careful planner so I also see her watching everyone else make their move before she strikes.
I personally think Janki may have given the car a little push when Akshay was trying to make Raunak forgive him. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if there was a flashback later of Janki doing that. The woman has done some terrible things 😈 So I'm very concern about poor lil Sakshi 😕
Dosts (Raunak and Sakshi)
Absolutely love this pair...they are super cute! I hope to see more bonding moments between the two. They seriously put a smile on my face whenever I see their scenes 😃
Forget about Kajal or Munmun drama let's have some fun episodes of the dosts hanging out and having fun 😆
The Widow and her Sir
I really like how they showed after the month leap when Raunak came to visit Kajal and the family that he made it very clear he just wanted to help. It came from a very pure place in his heart. It truly showed the brotherly bond that Akshay and Raunak shared.
I liked how he explained himself to the family and also cleared any doubts that Kajal had about his intentions such as marrying her like Akshay wanted or attempting to woo her since he is still in love with her and Akshay is no longer with her.
These scenes were necessary to show Raunak's good hearted nature. It is just a pity that his life is surrounded with manipulative people like his mother, her crony, and "wannabe Janki" Mummum.
Raunak is still a Mama's boy but who can really blame him when his mother only shows one side of herself to him. He thinks she is always looking out in his best interests...and what most normal people would see as a parent interfering beyond their limit in their child's life...those raised like this do not know any better and would never think twice about letting their parents make decisions for them. In the end these controlling parents do more harm than good for their child.
Kajal is obviously just a friend at this point. She respects Raunak and after everything he has done so far for her family and especially Sakshi her respect is going to continue to grow and eventually turn into care and love. Can't wait for this journey. I suspect it is going to be a slow one because it is going to be more about Sakshi and Raunak's bond and the love of a stepfather and stepdaughter first.
Cliffhanger pre-cap. I highly doubt Kajal is going to be able to say the truth about what happened 5 years ago. Janki will most likely cut her off and shoo everyone out of the house and grab Raunak by his leash and lead him out 😆 This little battle between Kajal and Munmun is only going to lead to Kajal sitting in that mandap next to Raunak Sir 😉
On a side note: I wanted to shake the stylist who gave Abhay that horrible lavender - lilac - gray shirt, pants, and jacket outfit he wore for the prayer for Akshay 🤢 That was just horrible looking.
