Anger is the enemy of the rational mind, it engulfs all logical thought processes and makes you trust assumptions more than reality. The same is happening to Yug. He is blinded by the half conversation he witnessed between the police inspector and Kali and the realization that Kali is infact Neelkanth's sister and will stay on his side is his unjust assumption. Once Kali proves to him that Ramji wants her to deliver justice and she shall, he will be crushed and have to apologize gravely to her.
