Lovely story so far

Part - 113

Maan visits Geet with gifts and Geet begins to look forward to his gifts everyday...

Some excite her but some doesn't interest her like chocolates and teddy as she is bored to receive them often...

She thinks her Khrish has no idea about gifts other than roses and chocolates which only normal girls like...but Geet is not one of them, this he should be knowing, haina?

Then one day Geet herself asks for books, she misses her books as much as she misses her Khrish...

Maan has found another route into her heart and this one is sure to help him...

Maan has seen her collection of books and he gets her comics like Tom & Jerry and Tintin instead...

He knows how to use reverse psychology to his benefit...

Geet is not happy at all and she doesn't say anything though...

Maan: I think you love these books, haina Geet?

Geet thinks that khrish doesn't know anything about her...

Geet shakes her head...nahi

Maan: then what do you like?

She keeps mum...

Maan: how will I know if you don't tell me?

Maan thinks...I don't need words to know what's in your mind Geet, somethings just take a look into those ever so talkative eyes to understand, I know I might have missed it Last time but not this time...MSK never repeats his mistakes...never ever...

Geet gets angry all of a sudden...

Geet: you don't know anything, Khrish

Maan is happy that she spoke with him atleast...

Maan: yes Geet, I don't know anything, I'm sorry for my ignorance and I promise you that this time I'll not make any mistake

Geet is surprised but she didn't understand anything...she is happy that Khrish felt sorry somewhere for being rude with her...

Maan helps her by telling her her favorite stories...stories from Mahabarata and also sroties of Lord Khrishna...

Whenever Maan tells her about Khrishna Geet points to him and says "Khrish" affectionately and she looks up to him like a kid looking up to the father...

Maan also confirms that he is Khrish indeed...

Then he tries to remind her of their meetings in Mumbai but she hardly remembers anything...

Maan is disappointed that Geet doesn't remember him...

The doctor advices him not to worry and she'll slowly understand the reality...

For that Maan has to spend more time with her as MSK and help her understand that he is Khrish infact...he is the one Geet fell in love with...

Maan is not worried that Geet still sees him as Khrish, but he is only worried that instead of trusting her Khrish she is now scared of him...

The more Maan wishes to be closer to Geet the more she is scared of him...

Maan knows that he'll get back his Geet but he has to wait patiently for that...he is ready to wait for a life time but he wants to fulfill Geet's dreams sooner so that she gets back her happiness which she deserves...

As days pass Geet sheds her fears and slowly gets the confidence that her Khrish doesn't hate her...

Maan takes her to the places that they visited earlier...

He takes her to the chat shops and her favorite restaurants...

He even remembers her favorite dishes and orders them for her...

Geet now realizes that her Khrish does care about her and also likes her...

Geet is now happy to go out with him and she eagerly awaits for such occations...

She likes to spend time with Maan now...

She is not afraid of him now and she even fights with him when he asks her to take her medicines which she hates the most...

Now she starts chatting with him non-stop and talks about every nurse , wardboy and even the doctors that attend her...

She becomes their favorite and she introduces them to Maan as her new friends...

She is happy and excited like a school kid...

She then complains to Maan that she feels like a caged bird inside the hospital and asks him to take her out...

The doctor discharges her with a condition that Maan never leaves her alone...

Maan takes her to KM and this time when Geet enters KM she is reminded of the past a little...

She asks about Dadi and Maan is very happy that Geet is recovering...

Dadi has gone abroad for her charity and would only return after a couple of months...

Maan: Dadi has gone abroad, she'll come back soon to see you

Geet: when will you take me abroad?

Maan smiles...she has now opened up a little bit and is quiet demanding...

All her wishes are kidish...she is excited about everything...

Maan: we will see, let's start with Mumbai

Geet: gud Khrish

Geet comes and hugs him...: I'll get ready within 5 minutes

Geet tries to go but Maan pulls her back, he is not going to let her go...

Maan: no Geet, not now, you need to take rest

Geet: you are very bad, I'm not sick

Maan: OK OK, I'm tired today, we'll go tomorrow

Geet: promise?

Maan: promise

Maan takes her to the beach next day as per her wish...

She is over joyed seeing the waves dancing in the wind and she is little scared to get near them...

Her mother always warns her that te sea monster will swallow her...

She looks longingly at the other kids who are enjoying...

Geet also wants to play in the water...

Maan know that, he comes and scoops her and walks into the waves...

Geet is scared and she closes her eyes tight...

Maan: Geet, dar mat, open your eyes and see the world, see it's so beautiful

Geet gains confidence as she is with her Khrish's and she opens her eyes but then seeing the huge tides see closes her eyes again...

Maan: Geet, open your eyes, I promise you that you are safe

Geet opens her eyes...Maan asks her not to look at the sea but to look into his eyes instead to get rid of her fear...

Geet looks into his eyes and is happy to find the love in them which she has been searching for in her Khrish all these days...

They have a gala time and Geet wants balloons...

Maan buys the whole lot and becomes rhe ballon seller...

Geet gves them to the children playing there and plays with them...

Then it's time for her pani puri...

Maan takes her to the chaat shop and makes puris himself as Geet doesn't want to eat from the chaatwala...he looks like a villain...

Maan feeds her with his hands and she eats like a kid spilling all over ...

Maan wipes off her face with tissue in the end and pays the chaatwala a wooping 1000Rs...

He is also happy...he makes a special one for Maan...

But Geet snatches it from Maan and she likes that too...'

She feels guilty for being afraid of the shopkeeper's looks...

Geet: thank you bhaiya, bahut badiya, issko toh achche chaat banana hi nahi aatha

Ofcourse there is a special flavor in every chaatwala's hand...haina?

Geet becomes very attached to Maan and she pesters him to stay with her all day...

Maan then asks her to come to KC along with him...

There she doesn't even recognize Pinky...but befriends Adi and Pinky immediately...

They become her playmates when Maan is in some meeting...

For the rest of the time she stays in Maan's cabin questioning him about everything...

Maan patiently explains her all the details and Geet also wants to work...

Maan gives her the job to tidy his desk while he is away to meet a client and Geet does a good job...

Maan praises her and she is so happy...

She likes KC very much...it becomes her daily routine...

Maan is also happy that his work is not disturbed at the same time he can spend time with Geet...

Once Geet goes out with a new friend she made and is missing...

Maan is tensed and he searches her everywhere...

Geet comes back safe with a small kid whom she met at the roadside that morning selling flowers...

She wanted to help him and so she asked Maan for some money as she wants to buy something for her...

Maan refused but later he had to give her as she was stubborn...Maan warned her that he is little busy and she can keep the money safe till they go and shop in the evening...

Geet took the boy to a nearby restaurant, got him new clothes and dress and the boy also got food for his elder sister...he is so happy...

Maan is angry for Geet disobeyed him and so he scolds Geet...

Geet gets angry and goes on a hunger strike that night...

Maan also doesn't eat that night...

Geet couldn't sleep as she knows that Maan has gone to bed with empty stomach...

She remembers her mother telling her you should not go to bed emptu stomach for you will get nightmares...

She then goes to the kitchen and takes some juice and the pasta that Nakul had prepared for Maan to his room...

She knocks the door and Maan is awake...

He is surprised to see Geet with all the food...

Maan: whats this?

Geet: I know you are hungry

Maan: but you must also be hungry

Geet: I'm sorry, I ate with Chintu, I'm not hungry

Maan: then why don't you go and sleep then'

Geet: you haven't had your dinner, so, have it

Maan agrees to have it if she feeds hi m with her hands...

Geet is only happy to do so...

She takes a bite first...Maan is surprised...

She just wanted to make sure it tastes good...

Geet: hmm, very gud

Geet soon owns KM as her own house ans is very happy to stay with Maan...

The doctor is also happy with her progress and at times she questions like a grown up too...

Meanwhile Vicky and Pari are back for their marriage this time...

Will she recognize them?

Lovely update. Geet is recovering due to efforts of Maan. Now she is remembering her past in bits.
