You lost me at kumkum bhagya , when has there ever been any romance in that show 😆 Honestly I'm not even sure I understand what you want , this track is literally them having tons of relationship development , but yet you say there's none 😕 And I'm certain the actors have no qualms about doing intimate scenes , putting indian censor issues aside , it would be really weird if Twinj just randomly started confessing their undying love to each other , they're in that awkward new love phase and I think the show has portrayed it perfectly thus far. If anything Zain has been overutilised , I see far too much Yuvi on my screen everyday , and well every soap needs villains to shake things up , things can't be rainbows and sunshine all the time , it's a daily soap after all 😆

there is no problem with on screen chemistry honestly. They problem is story. While the plot of this show holds a lot of potential, there are way too many loopholes in the story.

Everything works with the story. They story in this show works through tracks instead of weaving all the tracks into one which the creatives should work on. Also, Majority of Desi audience is taught romanticisization of relationship, reason why the love-hate stories are popular. As long as there is love and hate both present, the TRPs of those shows skyrocket. The story plays an important role though. I think the daily episode script has improved over time but it needs to improve more.

Once the story and writing style improves, only then would this show become more gripping. Right now, only few episodes have been well written. Majority of them are fluff.


About intimate scenes, the acting has been very natural and constant improvement from both Jas and Sid. The awkwardness in first is evident because of the relationship level they are at.

I would like to say only one thing that its the characters who are awkward but not the actors pplaying them. Unlike many TV actors, both Sid-Jas were 1st in movies and they must've clearly known how this field works and I just think they're professional enough.

I won't call it awkwardness, I felt it's the dignity she carries...

I don't want to mention those scenes, coz most of you have not noticed it... those who have noticed it would understand, in fact I felt respect towards Jasmine for that... she knows where to draw the line, well aware of her limits... without compromising on the scene...

Please understand its not a criticism, its a quality I noticed about her... even after that episode I thought of making a post on that, but I couldn't...

I'm on the same page as many others, the stage of their relationship as of now is like fresh lovers..two unknown people getting to know each other after marriage in a true sense, they have yet to build on trust..understanding and sharing their confinement, they are gradually getting there and the awkwardness seen in their romantic scenes is not the hesitation of the actors but the hesitation of their characters, the actors are portraying that hesitation with perfection

Can I just add, some fair points have been noted that I too agree with, for instance the undermining of potential characters like Leela, Anita, Bebe and even Cherry..they can't always act like catalysts, their character growth also needs to evolve, this is the only way the TRPs will increase, a daily soap has to have a balance..romance with drama and that's what makes the perfect recipe

I am a person who is very sensitive towards the physical behaviour you maintain with a guy... my bad... I easily notice others too...

Okay in this case no doubt that Jas and Sid share a very good friendship and comfort between each other... but being a woman that's not enough to completely take off your limits... they are supposed to do romance and intimate scenes, not friendship scenes, they have to be physically very close and for that just friendship is not enough (this is what I feel as a woman)...for a woman being physically close with someone you don't love is not so easy... even if you are a film star...

Okay, I am not gonna lecture about it more... nahi toh seriously pitaayi hogi meri.. 😆

You can please watch these scenes, may be you 'll get an idea about what I m talking about...

And please please don't take it negatively... It has nothing to do with the romance quotient we are enjoying now... kuch jyada hi tez hain my eyes and thoughts... my bad... I really admire her for the limits she keeps her in and that's the reason I expressed it here... apologies if I offended anyone, I am really sorry for the opinion I have...

umat ... I feel I know what you are asking for... But the entire flavor and USP IMO has been the different tack TEI has taken. A not totall saas bahu story that' has the ghissa pitta hate filled hero and sacrificing heroine out to convert him amidst all the hatred or make him emotionally vulnerable that we feel sad for him . We started of with a very level headed hero not given to anger and a genuinely sweet heroine. They are from this generation yet bound in family values. They walk side by side and not the woman behind the man. They stand together, fight in jest, are respectful and really care for each other - MU or not.

The show also has maintained a decent pace on any track by not dragging each one for a month or more as in the case of most shows. This speed leaves a few loose ends which I would rather take than hit my head on a wall with the frustration of a dragged out track. Thats how I stopped seeing so many other shows where they over glorify the heroine or just go on with the lead fighting or have nasty sasuma's...


The tashan is light and the story has had natural progression from the time they r married. The MU is clear but they can't just set it aside and get physical without understanding their feeling for each other. Todays episode was key that now Kunj finally knows that he matters to Twinkle. She has to know too... Once that bridge is crossed they will be able to show closer comfort.

I dont feel there is a akwardness between sidMin but its more between Twinj... He kept away for so many months and she had this fear of him near her. From there to now they took baby steps and I rather that then have them fizzle out.

Story tracks - Villian Yuvi - he gets too much screen space but Im ok with his plotting [just wish he was on a little less and a little less stylized as a villian] as long as it doesnt mess with Twinj too much..
