I do think that an actor should question himself even when he's at the top because there is no such thing as a sure future. Nothing is set in stone.

Hrithik was once deemed as the futur superstar and had a string of flops afterward. Of course, he does better now.

Ranbir was once deemed as the next superstar and his movies have been flopping left and right for the past two years.

Ranveer questionned himself already by saying that his better acting was in BBB. It was before Bajirao Mastani so maybe he changed his stand since then. But even he think that he was better in BBB than in Lootera.

Sonam Kapoor: If she even cared about craft she would have improved by now. She isn't any top heroine or something who has 10 different options to choose from. If she wants to work she will do all kind of movies. She is pathetic actress and there is no doubt about that. You having her on your avatar won't make her a good actress or anything.

You may hate on Sonam and that's why you didn't see the improvement in her acting but know that the simple fact of going out there and acting in movies which enable her to showcase her acting skills IS working on her craft... it's an ongoing process and improving one's skill can't happen overnight.

I invite you to see her movies (Saawarya, Aisha, Raanjhanaa, Delhi 6...) before making a judgement and better yet to go and see Neerja as it is her last movie thus the last "update" of her improving.

Sonam did great movies with directors who aren't known to compromise on anything (SLB, ALR, ROM...).

Also, Mausam was a flop, it was an ambitious project and she was offered the lead. That must count for something.

Also, YOU think she hasn't much option to choose from BUT that's what YOU THINK. I don't presule you are her agent.

Sonakshi: She is probably at worst stage of her career. In last few years she hasn't delivered anything. Lets talk about Akira because no one knows its fate. Her big film last year was Tevar and nothing else. I don't think I need to tell how well that film performed. She did some stupid music video and it bombed horribly. So after all this you come out and give statements like you don't let success get to your head.

I know what Sonakshi is up to. 2 women-centrics (Akira and Haseena) and an action movie (Force 2). She's beginning to get out of her funk it seems and beginning to experiment. The flop that was Tevar might have been a wake up call but it doesn't change the fact that she was being lazy until now by saying in her confort zone and doing flowerpot roles barring Lootera, which garnered her acclaim on which she didn't bank.

If her movies succeed it's good. If not I don't really care.

Athiya: Your views alone won't make her the best thing about Hero. She has been criticised heavily. Take out any review and you will see. Sooraj on the other was praised a lot. So if Sooraj can gain something from a bad film then why not athiya? Because she was horrible and can't act.

I personally don't care about reviews and prefer to make my own opinion about a movie. I watched Hero and though Athiya's acting was weak it wasn't horrid and she was what I liked best about the movie. Her character wasn't any good but she managed. Again that's my opinion.

I don't remember much about Sooraj and don't care...

Imran Khan: He debuted at a time where Ranbir was his only competition. He got a big big edge over ranbir because his movie made him insanely popular whereas ranbir's movie flopped. Bot got a lot of projects and single leads. He couldn't do anything because he is a bad actor. He hid behind his baby for one year and came out with katti batti. Make mistakes yourself and then blame the industry.

Regarding Imran, what you wrote is pretty much what I've written. I like him as an actor (he's average but still not as bad as people make him out to be) but I know he's lazy, arrogant, delusional and a coward. Who prefer to go on vacation instead of hunting down a good script.

Katti Batti was sooo bad ! It's no wonder it flopped and was bashed.

^^^ We aren't debating about their future. Sonakshi's next movies might become a big hit and she might come back into the industry. Or her next movies will turn out to be disasters and she won't be ever seen again. Thats not the point. The question was her position right now. She is certainly not doing well. Like you yourself said a wakeup call for her. This means she is still struggling to reach somewhere. A mid level bank employee can't say that I don't let success affect my work. A CEO of rising company can definitely make that statement.
