For sure Anandi could start her NGO by putting initial money and then run it by money got from govt ads and private donations but for this she had to work hard and put all her time and energies to get those aids and donations and running her school simultaneously .

Then where she had time to meticulously search her lost daughter , to move earth and sky to find her back ? All she could do was to make few inquiries with police and go to check if police gave her a lead but no thorough attempt to reach the girl by herself.

This is what I was saying after the leap that her priorities were not right . She was busy in setting up that school of hers to fulfill her dream instead of searching the unfortunate kid who was suffering all those years because of her stupidity and in all probabilities could have suffered more .

And do not tell me that Anandi was setting that school to stop child marriages which in turn would have helped her to find Nandini because neither child marriages could be stopped by setting these schools nor by beating grooms blue and back at the marriage venues.

It could be stopped only by educating ppl against it in village after village by becoming one of them.

If she would have done all this she would have found a girl Nimboli in a near by village much before than she actually found her due to others' efforts and perhaps till that time Mangla's attachment and hold on that girl would not have been so strong.

IMO Anandi might have succeeded as a social worker in running SN but lost as a mother.

Btw now unlimited DSa's wealth is another mystery considering both of her sons are not there to take care of her business and she herself is occupied elsewhere. 😉
