Shekhars & Singhs have done their bit in giving a secure life for their future generations. They didn't sell off all their properties or sit at home without doing any work. All of them worked hard, earned their living and made their contribution to the family pool of properties. Now Anandi is also expected to do the same for her future generations because Shiv is no more. Singhs run a family business hence DS gives big amounts in charity. Shekhars are employees though they have ancestral property they don't have any family business. Alok's handicrafts export is his personal interest. They made donations in the form of blankets & clothes in orphanages. Both Shekhars & Singhs did charity work according to their income & needs.

Members are again & again saying donations & funds...they don't fall from the sky whenever we wish. No government or private funding agency will give any financial support without execution of the said project and they have their limitations. Only relatives/friends who trust the person very much can give money liberally any time.

Donations from others can make only a part of the budget estimated. Few persons who can make generous donations are needed to finish off the deficiency in the finance. How many philanthropists does Anandi know? All the time she's either with Singhs or Shekhars. During her stay in Udaipur how many friends did she make that she can go and ask donations from them? Did she ever interact with any officer's wife from Shiv's circle? Other than Bhaili women & Chanda whom does she know very well? Shiv's colleagues are employees. How much can a person getting his/her monthly salary in thousands donate even if she went to them? Will they not have any personal needs and responsibilities? KB is ancestral property. Every Shekhar will have his rightful share in it even if it is given for rent/ lease.

Excellent posts Aarya. Couldn't have put it better.

Especially the below phrases. Everything well worded.

Just imagine Anandi away from both Shekhars & Singhs. Would her social work, Shiv Niketan, etc. etc. ever been possible? It is not as easy as carrying tea & samosa in trays. Lots of work needs to be done especially outdoors. As far as I remember before 11 year leap Shivam was 6 months old. Where & with whom did Anandi leave him before going out? Who looked after her months old baby? How did she manage when she had to visit other places for some days? Up to 3 years of age kids need a lot of support from their parents. Usually employed women leave them with some elder of the house with a maid or both the parents look after them alternatively. Ganga was busy with her studies. Only Dadisa left. DS even gave emotional support to Anandi when she was in lot of pain (lost shiv, nandini & even amol went away). Still she is perceived as a hindrance in Anandi's path. Even before leap Ira & Meenu took care of Amol when Anandi was away from home. Ira was taking care of Shivam & Nandini when Anandi had to go out. Still some find it very difficult to accept the prominent role played by people around her. Anandi can use KB, BH property; ask DS, Ira, Ganga to babysit her son; take help from Jagya for her funds but all the credit should go only to her!?

SN belongs to Anandi, she is the boss, others involve because they want to!? As if all this would have been possible even without them.

Many of us criticized Ira for her bad upbringing of Sanchi. Anandi is worse than her. Ira at least fulfilled all the basic responsibilities she had as a mother. She protected her child, took care of her needs & got her educated. But Anandi couldn't even do this much for her daughter. She miserably failed as a mother.

How did Ira protect her? She asked anandi to take care of her grown up daughter. Knowing well that Sanchi did not respect anandi.

Why one should assume that anandi was fully with her work when she started SN? SN grew slowly.

I did not see dadisa working very hard. She left it to her sons and the sons were only her godown keeprs.

As for Jagya and Ganga, the less said the better. Their education was like going for an online BA exams than highly skilled doctorgiri. Have we ever seen them going through latest advancements in surgeries in the medical filed? And how Ganga's kids grew up if dadisa is the school administrator?

Anandi's social work requires human resources and motivation than great education or great finances.

Ganga's education is the greatest joke and greatest blooper.😆

I was one among the rare who loved Ira, Sumitra and Meenu even if they messed up at times. They were quite realistic characters in my opinion, with all their strengths and weaknesses.
Shekhars are often termed as cardboard cut outs or messed up people, but I actually found them realistic and practical. It was a very nice family.

Saanchi was an adult ever since the show started. She was doing her grads and was about to finish college when the she first appeared. So I do not hold Ira responsible for the every mess that Saanchi created in her life. As an adult Saanchi is expected to think through for herself.

Going by how Shekhar family was, Saanchi turning out to be an evil brat is also a bit far fetched. Pampered kids can often be oblivious to pains of others but they do not deliberately harm others with a malicious intent.

I actually liked Ira for being a warm-hearted and open minded woman / mother. The way she was ready to share her babyboy Shiv with Meenu (of course being unaware of reality) was worth applauding.

Anyways, writing all this because your post reminded me of Shekhars. I really liked that family, and ultimately found Anandi to be a mis-fit among them. But they all loved and adored Anandi and always stood by her. Ira, Meenu and Sumitra were really nice women whom I often miss.

well , i am not bashing and making fun of anybody's views. but
'' EK FICTIONAL SERIAL K LIIYE ITNA DIMAAG LAGAYA JAA RHA HAI"🤣

lets make simple conclusion.

anandi got shiv's pension and little bit her earned money. that is enough for her , shivam and nandini.
and let her decide how she manage SN. even without SN, She can work in any school and college because she is educated in teaching field and had experience in this field.

Its a normal problem for social worker that they can earn name but not money for their future or children. they focuses on children's education and make them self sufficient.

When did creatives declared that Anandi is human rights activist?😕 Too much glorification without any work? Why they are after useless drama? We want to see something of a social/human rights activist - this weak woman is none of that.

The woman is not weak in her resolve to fight against social evils.
She always stands up for what she thinks is right regardless of what state her life may be in.
Be it when she was harrassed beendini of Dsa or abandoned wife of Jagya or happy contented wife of Shiv or widow troubled with family problems and battling depression of losing her husband she always reached out to people who are in trouble who need help.

She is not the kind of person who reaches out to people when she herself is happy and content and bothered about only her problems when her life is in doldrums.

The woman is only weak in her love for her children because her children mean everything to her.
