Update for Friday
Ep 280

1) the police lady calls aathi and tells her someone by the name of nithi is here to see her. when aathi sees nithi (in jeeva's disguise), aathi don't believe her. nithi then explain that she is nithi and that she put up this disguise to kidanap baba (natrajan) in jeeva's disguise. aathi tells nithi that now she had showed nithi to be aathi's vaarisu. nithi says she will do anything for her and that she will definitely bring her out. she says since jeeva's beloved natrajan is in her hands, jeeva will definitely help nithi to get aathi out if she doesn't want him harmed. aathi tells nithi to approach the prosecuter now to bail her out and nithi leaves immediately to get it done.

2) jeeva's house, prabha & surya are discussing how nithi (her sister) could have kidnapped baba. surya tries to bring the old issue of nithi refusing to give blood to jeeva when she needed it. jeeva tells him not to talk about that and that its more important now to save baba. both prabha & surya quarel when surya suggested going to the police but prabha disagreed saying nithi will be caught instead. after jeeva's intervention, both the guys cool down. prabha then says they have to find out what is the reason for nithi to kidnap baba. just then nithi comes in & says "i thought so". everyone turns to look at her and nithi continues to say that she expected them to gather and discuss baba's kidnap. surya shouts at her asking what is she doing here. jeeva then asks what does she want and nithi says she wants aathi released from jail then she will release baba. nithi tells prabha to "adakki vaasi" and keep his profile low and baba will be fine. she says prabha had intervened when nithi was discussing the bail with the prosecuter and prabha asks her what if he continues to intervene. nithi says they will not see baba alive. nithi gives a final ultimatum to prabha to keep quiet and do nothing and when aathi is released and safe, she will release baba thereafter.

3) aathi's lawyer visits aathi's house to look for nithi. sundara welcomes him and asks him how are the procedures going to bail aathi out. the lawyer says its a bit tough in the current situation. nithi just then enter in jeeva's disguise and the lawyer gets a shock. nithi clarifies that she is nithi and that she did it to achieve a goal. she tells the lawyer that there will not be any problems consulting the prosecutor now. the lawyer asks if prabha will give problems and nithi says he will not give any problems. sundara & nithi talks and nithi mentions that her only goal is to get aathi out of jail and the only way to do it is to do the same way jeeva accomplished her task. she leaves and sundara says whatever. selva visits magi but parks the car outside and stands there. magi hears the car sound and comes out to see him. she pulls selva in after some persuation but he pulls a long face. she asks if selva is doing well and that is he worried about his mum's problems. selva keeps quiet and magi then touches his forehead to see if his unwell and selva pushes her hand away. magi then shouts at him to talk something and grabs his collar in anger. selva suddenly tells her "lets get married!". magi is shocked to hear that. THODARUM...




**This story gives me a dejavu of an old serial "kanavanukaake" story.** Anyone feels the same?

i suppose selva came to that decision is cause since his relationship with nithi is getting nowhere and they are going to divorce in 2 mths, he might as well agree to marry magi since he thinks that he has "done it" with her. furthermore she might not live long so its to make her happy till her last days, its like hitting 2 mangas with 1 stone ya.... selva pls pls do not ever marry magi if you ever read this!

Episode 278 & 279

Update for Monday (it started 1 hr later)
Ep 281

1) recap from the previous ep selva tells magi "let's get married" when she forces him to talk. magi asks him what he said again and when he repeats it, she laughs out loud saying its a good joke. selva then asks her what is her answer and magi tells him he must be joking and that there is no answer for a joke. she tells him that she never felt guilty about what happened and says that selva must be feeling terribly guilty thats why he wants to correct the wrong. she asks him to forget what happened as it was an accident and it happened cause selva wasn't in a good mood and also due to drinking, it abetted it. magi asks him why didn't he felt guilty when her brought her back from mumbai or when he found her a house (she tells a long adam & eve story). selva tells her her words are too profound and he is dutybound to the traditional cultures. he asks her to marry him again and this time magi asks him since he emphasised so much on traditional cultures, what is he then going to do about nithi. selva is shocked to hear that from her. (pls selva, there is nothing to be shocked about as you should have expected it)

2) magi asks him if its the traditional cultures to have 2 wives or he intends to divorce nithi and marry her. she asks him if he has the guts to do it. she says if he had been bold enough, he would have thrown the divorce papers at nithi back then instead of nithi bothering him about it. she tells him that she knows he don't have the guts to do all that. she says selva must be thinking since she is going to die in about 3 mths time, he can marry her & enjoy her fully before she dies. selva upon hearing that, gives her one tight slap on her face (should have slapped her a few more times to make us satisfied selva!) and leaves in exasperation with magi calling after him. surya visits jeeva and keeps calling her but jeeva is in her room feeling sad over baba's kidnap. surya then tells the maid to get the food ready and goes to her room to bring her down.

3) he brings her down to the dining table and asks the maid to serve her food. jeeva just plays with her food without eating showing a worried face. there is a flashback on the part where baba cries over jeeva in the hospital when she was shot by ganga. back to present, surya asks her to eat again and jeeva just gets up and walks over to sit in the hall. surya tells the maid to leave and says he will take care of her. surya then flashbacks on what aathi said about raping jeeva. back to the present, he goes to close the front door and lock it up. he touches jeeva on the shoulder and gives her an endearing look, she starts to cry. she gets up and then falls on surya's shoulder for relief. THODARUM...

Update for Tuesday
Ep 282

1) recap from the previous ep, surya locks the door and touches jeeva's shoulder looking at her endearingly. jeeva failing to keep back her emotions of missing baba, lies on surya's shoulder for comfort and cries. he wipes off jeeva's tears and tells her that all arrangements has been made to release aathi on bail and baba will be back tomorrow and he will be perfectly alright. he tells her he can't bear to see her crying and that she is his life. he goes on to say he will do anything for her and asks her not to cry and that if anything happens to baba, he will not let aathi & nithi off. he keeps repeating she is his life while carressing her face and then brings her to sit down on the sofa. jeeva expecting something from him (she seems to have sensed his longing for her when he kept on looking at her), closes her eyes waiting for him (to kiss her). surya holds jeeva by the shoulder and goes near her with the intend to kiss her.

2) surya seems very nervous while he goes near and just as he was about to kiss her, the doorbell rings & both of them are awaken by it. jeeva continues to cry again (its so strange that she stopped crying when surya wanted to kiss her but when the doorbell rings, she is back crying lol). surya opens the door and its shanta & lali visiting jeeva. jeeva lies down on lali and sobs saying she misses baba very much. shanta tells her baba would want her to be healthy and happy when he comes back. jeeva flashback on the day baba adopted jeeva. flashback scene shows baba bringing a baby back home and calls for his wife, karpagam. he tells her he had told the jailer that he was looking for a baby and he finally got one from an imprisoned lady called thamira barani. karpagam asks if its confirm going to be their baby and baba tells her yes it is and also tells her that no one in future is going to call her maladi (barren). baba names her jeevanantham (or jeevananthan maybe, i didn't her properly) and for short jeeva. they discusses about the meaning of jeeva and both of them are very happy to have the baby jeeva.

3) a grown-up jeeva (about 4-5 yrs old) is playing with baba and karpagam watches them in amusement. karpagam feeds jeeva and jeeva in turn feeds karpagam & baba. baba teaches jeeva baa baa black sheep and jeeva asks him what does baa baa stands for and baba tells her he is baba and asks her to call him baba in future. karpagam suddenly goes out to vomit and tells baba the good news that she is pregnant. she tells baba that the luck came from jeeva who entered their lives thus she became pregnant. everyone is happy and rejoices and jeeva feels happy to know that she is going to have a little sister. back to the present, jeeva says that the happiness was shortlived and once her baby sister was born, she seems to have lost the attention from her parents as all the fuss was transfered onto her new sister. jeeva had been angry back then but it was baba who continuesly showered her with love. THODARUM...

Episode 283
Wednesday, October 31

Jeeva starts telling about her childhood story and how Baba happened to leave his wife and kid for her sake.

Karpagam is trying to put her baby to sleep. She goes on scolding Jeeva. Baba asks her to stop but she continues telling," just because of this saniyan my kid has to share everything" Baba tries to calm Karpagam down but no use

Instead she gets more aggressive and starts screaming at Jeeva more. At this point Baba grabs Jeeva and tells," Ok...now Jeeva has to go from here right...fine...then I am going with her" He simply walks away carrying Jeeva leaving his crying wife behind him.

Coming to present. Jeeva tells," From that day onwards Baba started to live for me..only for me. And all this wealth we see today is the fruit of Baba's hard work. He never tried to meet his daughter and wife after that. For him everything revolves around me qand I love him so much." She bursts out crying.

Surya tells her to calm down. Praba has agreed not to counter argue in the court. So defenitely aADHI WILL BE RELEASED. That means Baba will be released also from Nithila.

Shanta tries to console Jeeva. Jeeva requests him," mama Nithila will never listen to me but she will listen to you mama...please for my sake go see Nithila and tell her to leave Baba" Hearing this Lalitha tells Shantha that they should immediately go and see Nithila. They both leave.

Shantha and Lalitha reach Nithi's house by auto and he tells Lalitha to go in while he will wait outside. She goes in alone. Seeing this Sundara comes to Shanta and tells him to come in. But he refuses. Meantime Lalitha meets Nithila. Nithila shows her anger the way she talks," neenga oru nambikai drohi...I never expected from you this"

Lalitha cries and tells in her position anyone would do what she did. She pleads Nithila to leave Baba as he is a blood pressure patient and he has to take medicine. Nithila says," oh....it is ok even if he dies" Finally Lalitha leaves the tablet container on the table and leaves.

It is night time. Nithila goes to the house where Baba is kept. She asks the adiyals to untie him. She serves dinner for him and tells," have this food and take this medicine too" Baba smiles and starts eating. Nithila is puzzled and sits there. Baba finished eating his food but he never touched the medicine container. Seeing this Nithila takes the tablets and places in his palm ( as jeeva does usuallly)

Baba happily takes it and tells," Inga paarummaa....do you knwo why I took the medicine...because you gave it to me as Jeeva does. For me you and Jeeva are same since you look exactly like her. And I know you have some kind of paasam on me too" Nithila immediately denies and tells," no.....I do not have any paasam and love for you"....
