Update for Wednesday
Ep 273

1) recap from the previous ep, ganga faints at the witness stand before he could say anything. the judge adjourns the court. a doctor comes to check-up ganga at the place he fainted and he certifies that he is DEAD. everyone, including thamira, prabha, aathi, jeeva is shocked to hear that.

2) a guy in a black suit is shown leaving the court hurridly with something (like a plastic) in his hand and he goes to a white car to put it in (this guy must be the culprit, i suppose must be the work of venky's mistress). jeeva & prabha talks to the commissioner and jeeva reprimands him saying they have been slack in doing their work properly by not protecting an important witness like ganga. they allowed him to be harmed and now her mum is still sufferring in jail awaiting death by hanging. prabha cools her down and the commissioner tells jeeva that they are doing all the necessary investigations and once the post-mortem result is out, they will know the truth. prabha tells the commissioner that ganga did mention aathi's participation in getting thamira jailed and while ganga was in prabha's custody, aathi tried to kidnap him to kill him but it failed. jeeva starts to blare out again and the commissioner says that they also suspect that aathi is involved and will be taking the proper action soon. he asks jeeva to calm down and leave. once they leave, the commissioner calls his downling and tells him to arrest aathi immediately for interrogation. prabha & jeeva outside, prabha tells her that something must have happened before before ganga reached the court. jeeva asks prabha if her mum is destined to suffer in jail and prabha tells her not to think too much. aathi at her guest house, complaining to her lawyer and driver thomas about how ganga could have died when she herself failed to kill him earlier. she never had the chance to kill him and she doesn't know who is behind his death either. constable murugesu calls aathi and asks her if she was involved in ganga's death but she denies. he tells her the commissioner has given orders for her arrest in this case and the police will be coming soon to arrest her. she hangs up quickly and asks her lawyer to post advance bail for her in fear. her lawyer advises her to hide from the police but she scolds him saying what kind of idea is that. aathi then tells him that she will leave for someplace overseas while he should post advance bail for her.

3) jeeva & prabha waiting while visiting thamira. jeeva tells him thamira must be totally disappointed due to the present situation. prabha consoles her and thamira comes in and everyone look at each other. thamira tells jeeva that she had expected such a thing to happen. jeeva tells her she don't know how to console her but she will definetely get her out of jail. thamira says there is no point in just having confidence. prabha tells thamira that ganga's death has turn the route in their favour. he further says the one who benefit the most from ganga's death is the main suspect and that is none other than aathi and the police should have gone to arrest her by now. so prabha tells thamira to keep her hopes up and thamira feels better and they leave. a constable contacts prabha and informs him that aathi has escaped and has hidden herself. prabha thanks him for the info and tells jeeva about it after hanging up. jeeva is surprised and starts to ask, what do they do now. Update for Wednesday
Ep 273

Update for Thursday
Ep 274

1) nithi & sundara waiting in the hall looking for aathi. sundara asks nithi why didn't aathi inform anyone about her disappearance. nithi tells him that she was unable to find out from any of aathi's friends. just then selva comes in and sundara shouts at him saying there are people like nithi and himself so concerned about him yet he goes gallivanting giving excuses like visiting a friend in hospital.

selva asks them to tell what is it about that they are worried and nithi tells him that aathi has gone missing and that the police are looking for her for the sudden death of ganga. selva says aathi could be resting in the guest house but nithi says after the court session, aathi disappeared. selva says aathi asked for it since she hanged around with people like ganga and tells them to go & sleep instead as aathi knows how to take care of herself and leaves.

nithi ask sundara why selva is not showing any concern and sundara says this is the amount of love the kids are repaying for all the love that aathi has given them. just then aathi calls nithi and asks her if the police came by. nithi says yes but they they didn't say anything to the police. aathi tells her to pretend that she doesn't know anything and to go and look for her lawyer to follow up on the advance bail. she gives a telephone no. to nithi to contact her if anything urgent crops up and hangs up.

2) jeeva, baba & prabha discussing ganga's death and aathi's disappearance. prabha says aathi must have an informer thus was able to escape before the police the police got there. jeeva wonders how ganga died and prabha says once the post-mortem result is out, they will know the truth. he goes on to say that once monday comes, aathi might be able to get an advance bail and all their efforts will be wasted thus they needed to find her asap before that and the only way to do that is to follow nithi (smart move prabha).

lali visits sundara & nithi and offers her consolation (hate to be a spoiler but i suppose she is sent by jeeva & prabha to dig out news on aathi). she tells nithi that she is so much worried for aathi as aathi is a very sensitive lady. she keeps telling nithi that her heart almost jumped out when she heard what happened to her. nithi then tells her to calm down and says that aathi is perfectly alright as she has just spoken to aathi a while ago.

lali quickly asks whether is she fine and where is she. nithi tells her she herself doesn't know where she is. lali gives some sob story of wanting to ask for forgiveness and would like to talk to her over the phone and requests nithi to make the call. nithi calls and aathi's cell was switched off.

she continues to say that she feels jinxed thats why she was not able to ask for forgiveness from aathi. nithi quickly gives aathi's no. (which she gave earlier to nithi) to her which is 24802441. lali then tries to call but the line is engaged. suddenly lali becomes very calm, she tells nithi that she shouldn't be bothering aathi for forgiveness at this point of time when aathi is having problems. she will go home tonight and will come again in the morning and they can both call aathi together. nithi tells lali that she will let aathi know that lali has visited them and enquired about aathi. sundara says he feels happy to know that lali is showing concern for aathi. lali acknowledges and leaves.

3) aathi (in some hidden house) worried, calls her lawyer and complains that the news was spread in the newspaper and it was all his fault for suggesting that aathi hides undercover. the lawyer tells her that he is trying his best to get her an advance bail. aathi tells him that her name is in the dumps now after the news came out in the newspaper and if she had known, she would have rather gone to jail then to hide undercover from the police. (since the buffer was bad here, i might have missed something) i suppose aathi gave some instructions to the lawyer but the background sound was muted. when the sound came back on, aathi tells the lawyer to give some money to the publishing company to shut their mouth and not to release any more news about her. the lawyer promises her that he will get the work done soon and asks her not to worry. THODARUM...

Update for Friday
Ep 275

1) sundara & nithi discussing aathi's disappearance & ganga's death and also the news spread in the newspaper. the phone rings and someone from the ladies club called to ask if aathi has disappeared. nithi tells her there is no such thing but she keep on saying if its not the truth then why did the news appear in the newspaper. nithi samaalchifies and hangs up. sundara receives a call and a guy on the other line asks the same thing and tells him that aathi should give an interview to solve this matter else their company shares are going to dip low. both of them receive more calls and sundara tells nithi to answer as its, their fate to answer the callls.

2) selva reads the news about aathi at magi's place and feels upset. magi holds his fingers but selva pulls away. she asks him if he is angry over his mum's issue and he says of course. (magi over touches our selva!!! 😡) she holds his face and tells him that as long as his conscience is clear, everything will be fine. selva says he is ashamed to show his face outside as everyone is asking about aathi thus he has switched off his cell. she tells him to close his eyes and makes him lie on her shoulder.



he gets up and suddenly they hug each other and also as suddenly as he hugged, he suddenly also pulls away realising his mistake. he was at loss for words and says sorry to her. magi tells him there is no need to say sorry as she did not take it wrongly. selva says he was the one who made a mistake. he goes on to say without realising what he was saying, that, if his needs has been fulfilled, he wouldn't have done it. magi then forces him to say what was going wrong between nithi & selva and selva agrees to tell her. (a muted background is shown & i suppose he tells magi the whole story). once selva explains finishes, magi automatically overacts saying she didn't say anything all along cause she thought he was living happily and that she can't believe nithi would reject him. she says she is here for him and is willing to give herself to him. she says "TAKE ME SELVA" (i couldn't believe she was so cheap to say that at that point when selva is feeling vulnerable! 😡) and selva looks shocked on hearing that. she goes on to hold his hand as she repeats it, "TAKE ME SELVA, IM YOURS FOR KEEP". (lucky for selva, he was sane enough) he tells magi sorry and leaves abruptly leaving magi frustrated and sad that he did not accept her.

3) jeeva in nithi's disguise is in an auto and calls aathi (the no. aathi given to nithi-lali). jeeva tells aathi (in nithi's voice) that the news is spread in the newspaper and everyone is calling her and asking for her. thus she has changed her sim card to a new number as she can't take the harrasement of calls. she says she wants to see aathi badly as she feels sad and confused. she manages to get the address from aathi after some persuation and tells her that she did not tell anyone about it, not even sundara to which aathi says clever nithila. after she hangs up, she uses jeeva voice to tell the driver to go to the address that aathi gave. jeeva comes by the house and rings the bell. some guy opens the door and jeeva asks for aathi. that guy tells her no such person and closes the door on her. aathi comes out and ask that guy who is it. he says it was a young lady asking for her but don't know her name. aathi tells the guy to check if its her daughter-in-law and ask him to repeat the name loudly when says it. the door bell rings again and this time he asks for her name and she says nithila. the guy shouts out the name loudly saying "NITHILAVA?" and aathi quickly gestures to him to let her in. jeeva goes in and asks how is she doing. aathi tells her she is doing real bad with all these things going around. she says spreading the news to the publishing firm was jeeva's work and if she gets her hand on her, she will not let her off. jeeva in her own voice (mixed with nithi's voice) asks her if she will kill jeeva when she catches hold of her. aathi turns to give her a suspicious look. THODARUM...



PS: i suppose that jeeva is clever enough to have tipped prabha off when she got hold of the address else she will get it from me!

surprisingly, surya has been missing since the court case till now.... wonder what is he plotting now...

and magi-selva scenes, i was cursing under my breath when i typed out that part 😡🤢

Sorry for the delay guys/gals i had to rush out some work. todays summary is quite brief.

Update for Monday
Ep 276

1) recap from the previous ep, jeeva asks aathi if she will kill jeeva if she catches her. then she asks her if she had murdered anyone before, people like thillai etc. aathi is shocked and shouts "aaaeeeiii". jeeva goes on to say that there is a big surprise waiting for her and a police siren is heard outside. aathi gives her a suspicious look (with fear) and jeeva confirms to aathi that she is indeed jeeva. aathi tries to find something but she wasn't able to do anything (due to buffer, i wasn't able to see what actually happened. jeeva goes to open the door and prabha enters with the police & his police friend. aathi does her usual "aaaeeeiiii" sound and prabha tells her she can do it later 😆 and now she has to follow them.

2) aathi is in jail at the police station exchanging some words with the police guy there (she was saying that she is an influential person and he better know who is he talking to). nithi visits and aathi shouts at her telling she won't be able to get the truth out from her. aathi tells her to shed her disguise as jeeva. after nithi stresses that she is indeed nithi, aathi then believes her. aathi & nithi discusses how jeeva managed to fool aathi. just then nithi mentions that lali visited and tells her what she had said about asking forgiveness from aathi to get the phone number. aathi tells nithi that nithi has been fooled by lali as lali is jeeva's right hand person. aathi asks nithi to visit the lawyer to request for her bail. nithi says she will do so & leaves. lali in her house, shanta raises his voice at her saying it was wrong of her to do such a thing. lali says she didn't have a choice. she mentions that aathi once left the both of them stranded on the road. she tell him that jeeva visited her to request for her help in catching aathi. lali says to make a choice between aathi & jeeva, she chose jeeva and felt that she did not make any mistakes. shanta says he didn't know whether to praise her or scold her. he thought she did it in revenge but that was not the case. he says lali was very clear headed and did the right thing. lali asks if shanta is angry with her and he says he isn't.

THODARUM...

Episode 278
Wednesday 24, 2007

Sundara stops Selva and asks question after question. Sundara asks Selva," Why can't you help Nithila in her efforts to bring amma out?" Selva replies that if at he does help both amma and Nithila would not like it. He also complains that Nithila is becoming like Aadhi. But Sundara tells him about Nithila's love for him. Selva stops him and goes upstairs.

Some stupid comedy scene follows. Alamelu makes some halva and her machan eats it. His mouth is sealed and not able to open the mouth. Poochi comes there and he refuses to eat that HAlva. Pottu comes and screams at them and takes poochi to another room. He tells Poochi to get rid of that copule within an hour. He is bringing Jeeva there. He also asks poochi ," when we come here there should be oru pombilai photo here"

Nithila is all dressed up like Jeeva. Sitting in front of the mirror she wears her contact lenses. Starts practising to talk like Jeeva with a deep voice. When she is satisfied with her efforts she comes down and meets Sundara. He is shocked to see her transformation but Nithila tells ," If Jeeva could do this I also can do the same just to save athai" She leaves .

In Jeeva's house she and Baba are in the prayer room. Jeeva asks him to hurry up as they are going to buy an empty land lot. At this time Surya's call come and he asks Jeeva to come out. Baba goes inside to get ready. Jeeva comes out and asks him to come in.

But Surya forces her to come with him just for a half an hour as he wants to take her to some important place. Jeeva wanted to go in to tell Baba but Surya tells her to get on the bike and moves.

Nithila in Jeeva's appearance comes out from behind a jeep. Surya watches her in the rear view mirror and shows his thumbs up to her and speeds away. Nithi goes in and asks Baba whether he is ready. Baba is surprised and asks her about her changed dress. Somehow she manages. Baba asks her about that land deal. Nithi gets confused and tells ," That is not a land Baba but a nouse...."

Baba smiles and tells," I understand amma....nalla purinju pochu.....you are not my jEEVA AT ALL" Nithi stands still......

Update for Wednesday
Ep 278

1) recap from the previous ep, selva comes home after a blurry night and confusing morning and sundara stops him and tells him that aathi has been arrested. selva tells sundara that he knows about it and that she won't come home if he is worried. he says he is tired and wants to rest. sundara tells him that nithi has been running up & down trying to bail aathi out if jail and she could do with some help from selva. selva says that nithi won't accept his help and aathi won't be happy about it also. sundara asks him who told him that and selva says there isn't a need for him to know through someone and that he can see what is happening around in the house. sundara then asks him why is he talking like this and what is he not happy about in this house. selva tells him not to ask any questions now as he is not in a position to answer him. sundara asks him again about what actually happened that he is not able to answer any questions. selva says "nothing happened" and asks him to go with his daughter-in-law (nithi) to find a way to bail aathi out. sundara asks him whether his outbursts is due to his dislike for aathi or anger for nithi. selva tells says both and that nithi is slowly changing into another aathi. sundara says he thought so that selva had been angry with nithi and it was true as he can see it now. sundara tells him that nithi has changed so much and that she has so much of love for selva now. sundara asks him to understand nithi and that she has stayed up waiting for him when he came back late at night. she had also run to the door when she hears the car sound or the phone when it rang. sundara asks him to understand nithi again and says that she has been trying to work on the house problems, aathi's bail problems and also the office problems all by herself and she is doing it all for the sake of her love for selva. sundara says its not right to forget all that she has done and to say that she is changing into another aathi. selva just walks away after hearing it, not believing sundara. sundara looks on with disappointment.

2) alamelu asking mahalingam to eat some halwa she made from a cookbook. he seemed to have problems swallowing it and wasn't able to open his mouth. she asks him to open his mouth to say if it is nice but he just gets up and jumps 😆. just then poochi comes by and asks him why is he jumping about and alamelu tells him she mad halwa for him. maha does some sign languages to tell poochi but poochi guesses wrongly and gets a slap from him. poochi then asks him to tell first what is it before he slaps. after some some more hand signals, poochi guesses it rightly that maha was unable to open his mouth. alamelu than asks poochi to try the halwa she made and tell her if it taste right since maha is unable to open his mouth to say it 😆. while maha & alamelu were forcing poochi to eat the halwa, surya comes in just in time and poochi tells him that he saved his life 😆. surya asks what is the matter and alamelu calls him "pottu macha" and surya tells her she can call pottu but not macha 😆. alamelu then tells surya that poochi refuses to eat the halwa that she made. poochi tells surya that maha had ate the halwa earlier and is now unable to open his mouth. alamelu tells him to shut his mouth and offers the halwa again to "potto macha" 😆. surya tells her not to call him macha again and tells her to eat the halwa she made herself and to shut her mouth like maha and sit in one corner 😆. surya then leaves with poochi. maha takes a piece of the halwa and feeds alamelu (got some funny background music at this point) and she also was unable to open her mouth and was made fun of by maha 😆. surya at the door tells poochi that the 1 week time he had given to poochi to chase the "imsai's" out is up and how come they are still here. poochi says he can't do it and that he is exhausted. surya says he don't care and that poochi has to find a way to chase them out asap. surya says that he will be coming with jeeva in about half and hour and nobody should be home by then. he then asks poochi to arrange for a woman photo and poochi asks him where is he going to get one. surya says he has to find a woman's photo somehow and chase the 2 out of the house and leave in a huff. poochi thinks where to get a photo and suddenly says to himself that he will put "her" photo. nithi in her house dressing up as jeeva and putting on contact lens. she practices saying "baba, i have to go out!" in jeeva's voice. she comes down the stairs only to have sundara stare at her. she asks him why is he staring at her like that. sundara says her new disguise is giving him new worries. nithi tells him that his worries are justified but her own worries are also justified. sundara says he don't understand what is she talking about as her words seems new to him. (im very poor in tamil literature) nithi mentions that some old legends like kannan disguised himself to karnan to win some war (correct me if im wrong). she says since god themselves can disguise, why can't she. she goes on to say that she is disguising as jeeva to save her aathi, her beloved "attai". sundara tells her not to find reasons for their actions. sundara tells her that the war she mentioned was for a good cause but is nithi's disguise was for the same reason too? he asks her to think about this question in her heart before she makes any decision and thats all he can say. nithi says recently, she herself knew that she wasn't herself but she was unable to do anything about it. she says in life, to achieve some goals, there is a need for a disguise (mask). she says since jeeva dressed up as nithi to achieve her goal, there is nothing wrong in nithi doing the same thing jeeva did, thats why she decided to do it whether its going to be wrong or right. she tells sundara that if she achieved her goal, she will come back and talk to him and leaves. after she leaves, sundara says "best of luck".

3) jeeva with baba in pooja room praying (its jeeva cause she is wearing different clothes from nithi's disguise). jeeva says they have to leave now but baba asks her why the need to leave early. jeeva asks if he had forgotton what they discussed yesterday night about visiting the broker before they go to office to enquire about a land purchase. baba asks her why is there a need to buy an empty land for and why jeeva suddenly has an interest to buy properties. jeeva says thats not it and that currently the real estate business is going at peak and that if they invests in it, they will rake in profits. she says the broker approached her at the right time to ask if she was interested in purchading an empty land and jeeva thought why not. baba says its alright to go into another business and that they should go ahead with it. just then jeeva's cell rings and its surya saying good morning to her (baba signals to jeeva that he will be back soon after he gets ready). jeeva asks him where is he and he says just outside her house and asks her to come out. jeeva comes and asks him why he doesn't want to come in. he tells her he came as a lover and not a manager. jeeva says so what, he can still come in. he tells her he has no time for explanations and asks her to get on his bike as they are going to an important place. jeeva asks where and surya tells her its not only and important place but also an important news. surya refuses to say when jeeva kept on asking him. finally she says fine and was about to go back into the house to inform baba but surya tells her to hop on his bike and they will be back in half and hour thus no need to inform him. jeeva asks him what is it about again surya gets angry saying she don't need to come then. jeeva asks him not to get angry and finally gets in his bike when he asks her if she don't trusts him. after he drives off, nithi in jeeva's disguise comes out from the hiding place nearby jeeva's house. surya notices nithi in his bikes' mirror and gives her and thumbs up singal and nithi smiles at him acknowledging it. she later walks in to jeeva's house and sits down to read a magazine. baba comes out and asks if she is ready to leave and what did surya told her earlier. nithi says it was nothing and baba asks her when did she change out of her clothes again. nithi samalchifies by saying she didn't like that earlier dress thus she changed it. baba jokingly asks her if it was surya who asked her to change it nithi says yes thats right. baba asks if they can leave to to see the land. nithi sothapifies saying the broker called her to view a house. baba is confused and says just earlier on, she wanted to view a land and now she wanted to view a house. nithi tells him if the house is nice then they can just buy the house itself. baba says he has understood clearly and that she is not his jeeva. nithi looks at him in shock. THODARUM...




im sure baba will continue saying that jeeva has changed cause of surya and would not be able to see through nithi's disguise.

Update for Thursday
Ep 279

1) recap from the previous ep, nithi looks at baba shocked when he said she is not his jeeva at all. he goes on to say that after seeing surya, she becomes his jeeva and that she forgets herself when she sees surya. baba tells her to make her decisions carefully and not to be blinded by love. nithi samalchifies saying both a land and a house will be a good choice (something like that). they get into the car and drives off. surya at the other side brings jeeva to his house but jeeva wants to know what is it now since they have reached the place. surya then tells her that today is his mum's death anniversary, thats why its an important day. jeeva looks shocked and surya tells her his parent left him many years back and he is an orphan now. jeeva says sorry to him for behaving like that to him earlier and surya says its fine and invites her in. he asks her to put her right leg in and enter. jeeva then sees the picture and asks if that is his mum. surya looks at the photo shocked cause it is alamelu's picture 😆. he was scolding poochi for putting alamelu's picture (in his mind) instead of an old woman picture. later he almost sothapifies when he mentions alamelu's name aloud making jeeva ask who is alamelu. surya samalchifies saying its his mum's name. he had wanted to bring jeeva and show her to his mum to get "her approval" and says he managed to do it during his mum's death anniversay. he tells jeeva that he will get the lights to light for his mum's picture and goes to get it.

2) surya lights the light and both of them pray and surya tells her that both of them will have to fall down and get her blessings. as surya was about to put the kumgumum for jeeva, he stops halfway and tells her that he can only do it after their marriage. jeeva invites him to eat but surya says every year, on his mum's death anniversary, he will be fasting and will not eat anything. jeeva then tells him she will also follow suit. surya says there is no need for her to do so and thanks her for coming. jeeva then asks him why is he thanking her for this. surya says their half & hour is up and they will return now. jeeva says if he had told him earlier, she would have spent the whole day with him. surya says its fine and they leave. nithi brings baba to an old house he asks her if she is going to buy this old house. nithi tells baba that whether he likes it or not, he has to live in this house. she tells him that she is not jeeva but nithila and says that not only jeeva can do this kind of disguises, nithila also can do it too. some gundas appear surrounding baba and nithi tells him that she had kidnapped him but will not do anything to him if he keeps quiet.

3) alamelu tells poochi that the photo taken earlier at the studio was superb. poochi says its all his fate. they open the door to go into the house and finds alamelu's picture all garmented as a death picture. alamelu screams at poochi and poochi puts the blame on maha and makes alamelu suspects that maha is the one behind this. alamelu then beats maha up and poochi heaves a sigh of relieve. alamelu then asks maha if he is angry with her for saying "i love you" to pottu. maha says no such thing and they both laugh and make up. jeeva & surya comes home and jeeva tells surya that baba has left in the car without waiting for her. she asks for a coffee from the maid and tells surya to drink but he declines saying he is fasting. just then the maid enters with the coffee and jeeva asks her if baba has left for office already. the maid then says "you have just left with baba earlier, why are you back again?" jeeva gets a shock and says something is wrong. she quickly calls baba and nithi answers the calls saying not only jeeva can disguise as her, she also can do the same thing as her. nithi says she has kidnapped baba and lets baba talk for a while (he says things like her sister is jealous of jeeva always being with baba thus she kidnapped him jokingly) but before he could tell jeeva where he is, nithi takes the cell and tells her that she can't do anything to her and hangs up. jeeva shouts out to surya that nithi has kidnapped baba repeatedly. surya tells her to calm down and she sits down worried about what is now going to happen to baba.
