Todays episode can be written in just three sentences….That is all happened…??? Half of the time is used for some idiotic joke with Poochi, that drunk man and his wife….normally comedy part in this serial is nice but not today……??????

Jeeva comes to Thamira and tells her about Ganga's disappearance. Thamira feels sad and blames herself as an unlucky person and she requestJeeva to stop wasting her time in proving her innocence.

Jeeva gets annoyed and tells," amma please do not talk like that.It is due to our carelessness we lost Ganga and I am sure we will find him and soon you will be out of this place….Now please stop crying. You are not responsible for any of this. That Aadhi is the one responsible for all this….I am sure she must be knowing where that Ganga is….." She says bye to her and leaves

That kudikaaran's wife comes with Poochi to Pottu's house where that man is enjoying some drinks. This lady goes and chases him and pleads him to go with her to their house. But he takes her into the kitchen and closes the door leaving poochi behind. He tells her." Yei…did you see this house?? See how can this pottu get such a house and this kind of luxury….see something going on here …so let us be here and take our share of money too….ok…?"

Prabha and his brother Gopi are in front of a temple. Prabha gets annoyed with his bro and asks for the reason for their presence there. Gopi tells," anne that is a suspense but soon you will know" As he is telling this Baba and Jeeva come there. Baba tells Prabha ," Sorry Prabha …I only asked your brother to bring you here….Thambi I agree that what Jeeva told you was wrong….but now this small ego problem has separated you both….She could not tolerate you suspecting Surya that is all……please talk to her…"

Prabha answers," Jeeva has all the rights to get angry with me but not suspect me….that I do not like" Hearing this Jeeva gets angry and shouts," Yes I blamed you because you suspected Surya unnecessarily…more over if you consider me as your real friend you should have corrected me…so …your friendship is just a fake one after all….."

Prabha is shocked to hear this from Jeeva and tells," Please do not teach me about friendship….if you think that way then your friendship is also a fake one …ok?"

Update for Wednesday
Ep 268

1) recap from the previous ep, both jeeva & prabha quarel over each other friendship being fake. prabha's bro & baba quarel next (trying to scare off both jeeva & prabha) and jeeva & prabha finally patch up their indifferences. baba & prabha's bro tell them that they did this drama to patch them back. both jeeva & prabha apologies to each other and started discussing their next plan. prabha says that ganga's secret hideout was leaked to aathi thus ganga escaped. jeeva mentions that aathi has a guest house and ganga might have been hidden there. prabha says that even if ganga isn't hidden there, all their plans must have been discussed there thus its best to check out the guest house. baba later invites prabha to pray inside the temple but he declines saying he does not have any religious faith. when baba tries to brainwash prabha to pray, jeeva tells baba not to force him since he don't wish to. prabha leaves followed by the rest thereafter.

2) next scene is mahalingam (the drunkard), his alamelu (his lover/wife) and poochi in the house playing cards. alamelu spies on poochi cards and signals to maha (note maha's left hand is in cast). she tells poochi to put out some card and goes on to play the card for him helping maha in a way. maha and his lover laugh after winning (screen is in powerpoint slides so i missed out), and poochi falls down somehow. just in time surya comes by and poochi explains that he brought alamelu home to chase maha out but the plan failed and alamelu stayed back instead. surya gives him 1 more week to chase both of them out and leaves.

3) aathi and driver thomas in the guest house again. prabha comes to spy wearing all black (men in black? 😆). aathi chases thomas out to go check if surya has come. then she calls surya and he tells her that he is driving and will reach there in 10 mins. suddenly someone taps prabha's shoulder and it turns out to be prabha's friend. he came to check with him. ganga is blind folded & tied up with another new guy holding him in surya car. jeeva calls surya and says she has something important to tell him and asks him to meet her. surya tells her that he will be late and asks her to say it over the phone instead. jeeva tells him that aathi has a guesthouse and prabha & his friend is staking out there since it must be aathi who got someone to rescue ganga. surya is shocked and reaches aathi's guesthouse to see that prabha & his friend are there thus he stops further away from the house and driver thomas spots surya's car and goes in to inform aathi that surya has come. aathi walks out to the gate and ponders for a moment why doesn't surya bring ganga out of the car. prabha & his friend has already spotted the car and suspects that ganga might be inside it. just then surya takes off in the car with aathi shouting after him. prabha & his friend gave a chase on the bike and there is a few mins of car chasing scene. prabha & his friend finally catch up with it but only the new guy who was holding ganga earlier was found in the driver seat. surya & ganga are nowhere to be found (as mentioned its streaming in slides thus i might have missed how they escaped from the car. i supposed both of them jumped out unnoticed by prabha). prabha's police friend gets the driver out and questions him telling that he is a police officer. the scene moves to surya still holding onto ganga in some some place nearby. screen freezes. THODARUM...

Update for Wednesday
Ep 268

Update for Thursday
Ep 269

1) recap from the previous ep, surya escapes from the car with ganga as they were chased by prabha and his friend on the bike leaving his adiyal at the driver seat. prabha's friend ask surya's adiyal to open the boot but don't find anything and thinks for a moment if they have followed the wrong car. ganga complains to surya as to why are they doing this by blind folding him. surya tells him its for his own good. prabha and his friend let the adiyal go and leave. aathi trying to call surya but couldn't get through.

suddenly her door bell rings and its the police. they inform her that they received news that ganga is being hidden in aathi's guest house. they produce a search warrant when requested by aathi and she agrees to let them search the house. the police searches every nook of the house but don't find ganga.

aathi looks very pleased and ask the police guy if he is thinking how to say sorry to her. the police guy tells her he don't need to say sorry to her as he was here to do his duty. aathi threatens him that she can make a complain against him saying he disrupted her rest by believing some wrong information. he tells her again that he will not be threatened by her but after she gives a similiar reason of complaining against him for other reasons, the police guy hangs down his head. (aathi certainly has high influence - bleh)

2) nithi at home waiting for selva. the sound of a car is heard and nithi rushes outside to have a look but its not selva. she is disappointed and goes back into the house. magi in her new house reading some book. suddenly some dog barking sound is heard followed by a knock sound on her door.

magi keeps shouting "who is it?" and finally screams when she sees a figure. turns out its selva who was scaring her. she beats him and scolds him for playing with her. selva keeps saying "sorry pa" he has seen all her expressions but not fear so he did it to scare her and captured her expression on a digital camera.

magi says she feels so happy to know that selva remembers the small things she said but had forgotten herself (he bought the digital camera for her). she asks him if he really likes her so much and selva doesn't answer her. later magi takes shot of selva while he tries to stop her.

they both play around with each other taking cam shots. suddenly magi's face changes and selva asks her what happened. she ask selva why is he repeatedly taking pictures of her and if he is going to put up all her pics for her after her funeral. (thaaaanga mudiyele!!!!! overact!)

3) selva tells her why is she keep harping on the death issue and instead should be feeling happy. magi keeps prodding if selva will stay with her always and just when selva was about to answer her, his mobile rings. its sundara and he asks selva where is he cause nithi was waiting for him and has not even eaten yet.

selva lies to sundara that his friend is admitted in hospital and as he is alone, thats why he is accompanying him. sundara says not he himself has seen selva yet and selva says he'll be back soon. they hang up and sundara asks nithi to eat and sleep as selva will be late. next morning, nithi wakes up and sees selva dressing up at the dressing table.

nithi asks him what time did he come home but he doesn't answer. she asks him if he is ready to go to work and he says yes. nithi glances at the clock and asks him why is he leaving for work so early. selva replies that he has already mentioned yesterday night about his friend in hospital and is going to visit him. he quickly tries to leave but nithi stops him and asks him if he is avoiding her. selva asks her why is she asking that and she starts to mention about the time since he reached chennai, he never properly talked to her thus she wants to know if he is angry with her and avoiding her. it ends before selva could reply. (note: selva tone was very harsh when talking with nithi but so sweet & gentle while talking with magi) THODARUM....

Update for Friday
Ep 270

1) recap from the previous ep, nithi stops selva from leaving quickly and asks him if he is avoiding her. selva asks her why would he avoid her and that he is just going to visit his friend in the hospital and starts to leave. nithi stops him again and tells him she has something important to tell him. selva deduces that nithi must be waiting for him to sign the divorce papers which will be in 2 mths time. he says that he will give it to her soon as that was what she wanted and leaves leaving nithi disappointed. aathi goes to meet surya in the village hut and asks why was his mobile switched off. surya explains that prabha & his friend were chasing him and to escape, he jumped off the car with ganga and his mobile slipped off breaking apart with the battery. aathi asks him how did he know prabha was there and surya says it was jeeva who gave him the information just in time and he was able make his escape. aathi says jeeva's love is very strong and asks where is ganga. surya asks for his money first and she gives him a briefcase. surya checks and tells her everything is in order and says that ganga is inside the hut. surya tells her to go in after he leaves. surya leaves and aathi goes in with driver thomas. ganga still blindfolded asks who is it and driver thomas opens his blindfold and its aathi he sees. he tells her that he knows aathi will rescue him somehow due to the love she has for him (aathi just stares at him). his ropes were untied and they all leave.

2) surya comes home with the briefcase and maha and alamelu gives him a look cause he was singing some happy tunes. poochi also queries and surya opens his briefcase and shows them the money. he takes out 500rps from the briefcase and gives to poochi when he said he wanted to buy a chair (i think he meant something else). poochi tells him why only 500rps and surya says a plastic chair will cost that much. next alamelu tries to rub her shoulders against and talks very coyly to surya and finally tells him "i love you" 😆. surya says "saroja samanikkalo" and disappears like magic leaving everyone in surprise 😆. next scene, aathi gives food to ganga and tells him that he can ask driver thomas if he needs sarukku. ganga tells her it has been sometime since he touched drink. aathi tells that she knows him very well and that he should just ask anything he needs from thomas. she gives ganga some money and tells him not to show his face outside and leaves. outside, she tells thomas that ganga is a very dangerous person and he should take care not to let the police catch him. thomas suggests if ganga can leave for overseas and aathi says not possible as the police will arrest him at the airport itself. she then says, since she can't keep him hidden or sent him overseas, she asks thomas to finish him off. this is overhead by ganga by listening through the closed front door (lucky for him).

3) thomas tells aathi that ganga is her brother but aathi tells him he tried to blackmail her and tells him to poison ganga with food and dump him in some unknown place in an old car. next scene, shows thomas bringing briyani for ganga. he tells ganga that aathi told him to fatten ganga up with food. he sits beside ganga and tells him that he have to make sure ganga eats the food as its an order by aathi. ganga somehow manages to chase thomas out to eat his own food leaving him alone. next, ganga pours some milk from the fridge and opens the briyani. he puts the briyani inside the milk and it turns blue. this confirms ganga's suspicion and he gives an angry look and it ends. THODARUM...

Ep 271

1) recap from the previous ep, ganga tests the briyani using milk and it turns blue. he realises that aathi was good in her words in carrying out her threat. he calls thomas in and tells him that his stomach doesn't feel good and ask him to eat it instead. when thomas tells him aathi told him to eat it, ganga says he knows something was wrong when aathi showed over affection for him and ask thomas to eat the briyani and die himself. thomas quickly gets the help of more of aathi's men in and they have a tussle and ganga escapes and runs to a police station. he asks the inspector there for help and says that he is willing to turn approver and will tell the truth about venky's murder. he also tells them aathi's men are after him and ask the imspector to catch them.

the inspector at the station calls prabha's friend and informs him and news spread fast and jeeva comes to know about it. thomas goes back to inform aathi about ganga escaping to the police station. aathi holds thomas at his collar & tells him that she will never let ganga tell the truth. prabha talking to another police inspector and he tells prabha that, now that they have caught ganga, many truths will be revealed. ganga is put in jail by the inspector.

2) jeeva visits thamira with surya, but surya declines to go in but later agrees to go in with her upon her coersion. jeeva goes in to inform thamira that ganga has surrendered and the truth will be revealed soon. truths on venky's murder, thillai's murder, all will be out soon and high chance that thamira will get released from jail. she says prabha will be preparing for the court session with ganga as the witness.

thamira feels happy upon hearing it but tells jeeva that she only want nithi to know the truth that she did not kill nithi's father and hopes to reunite with the whole family. jeeva assures her that it will happen soon and to expect it anytime.

selva in magi's place calling her to come quickly. magi is dressed in a sari, walks before him and selva looks shocked on seeing her and says "wow". he tells her she looks much better in sari then in modern dress. when he asks her to put on flowers on her hair, magi asks him to put it on for her instead. he tells her she had missed out the pottu on her forehead and she quickly puts it on. she then asks him where are they going and he tells her they are going to the temple.

3) magi suddenly gets emotional & tells selva that not only he is deceiving her but also himself. she starts to cry saying he is doing too much to fulfil her wishes. selva says he feels irritated when she talks like that and he walks away. magi approaches him and says "sorry pa" and tells him not to be angry and that she wasn't able to control her emotions.

she tells him that she likes everything he does in fulfilling her wishes thus she got emotional. selva says he don't understand her thinking. she asks him if he is bringing her to the temple now and is going to put kungumum on her forehead. selva says yes and she says that only a husband has the right to do that as it is the traditional culture of indians. (she also says some other related stuffs) finally she says only nithi has the right to accept the kungumum from selva but not herself. selva looks at her with confused looks. THODARUM...

Update for Tuesday
Ep 272

1) recap from the previous ep, magi comments that only nithi has the right to accept the kungumum from selva and that he shouldn't be doing these kind of bold things. she starts to sob and says there is no one for her and uses the opportunuity to lean on selva and fake cry. selva doesn't do anything and consoles her.

2) aathi talking to surya and he tells her aathi is going to counts bars in jail soon. aathi asks him based on what is he saying these. surya says he just came back from visiting thamira from jail and that he heard from jeeva that ganga is going to vomit out the truth behind venky's & thillai's murder. if that is not enough, prabha is going to re-open all the old cases. surya tells aathi to get ready to eat kali in jail and that he will meet her in jail haha (he asked her if she is trying to find ways to eat pongal - hope you catch the point). surya leaves and aathi talks to herself saying she will settle ganga first before crushing jeeva. next scene shows selva lying on bed thinking about what magi said earlier. nithi comes by and asks him what is he so intensely thinking about. selva tells her nothing and brushes it off. nithi then invites him to eat & selva says he is not hungry and nithi asks him if he is having any problems as since he came back from his trip, he has not spoken to her properly. selva shouts "NO" and asks her whether only she will leave if he answers her, thus nithi again invites him to eat. she tells him that he will automatically feel hungry once he is seated at the dining table and starts to hold his hand to gesture it. selva pulls away abruptly and tells her he don't like it. nithi asks whether he don't like her holding his hand or the dinner. selva says both and gets up to walk away. next scene, jeeva & aathi meets outside the court and exchange some words like we shall see who is the ultimate winner. thamira is brought there and jeeva tells her this will be the last time she steps into court. prabha assures her things will go well. then thamira & aathi exchanges some murderous look with an appropriate background music. then the police women with thamira ushers her in who is followed by jeeva & prabha (notice surya is missing in this court scene).

3) next scene ganga appears (aathi is still outside the court standing by her car). once aathi notices ganga coming, she quickly signals to one of her man who is hiding behind the tree. he loads his gun and starts to aim at ganga. just then ganga asks for some water from the police guy and he comes right infront of him blocking aathi's man's view to shoot him thus aathi's man was unable to kill him. while ganga was going to drink water, prabha's police friend comes by and tips the water away from ganga and tells him he did it cause since ganga is going to reveal some truth as a witness in court, there are many people waiting to kill him. thus he needed to take precautions. everyone goes in and aathi's plan fails. prabha starts off with saying in court that the court should give permission for ganga to appear as an important witness in thamira's case (aathi's men who was about to kill ganga earlier is also present in court). he was granted permission and it shows ganga walking in to the court accompanied by the police to the witness stand. ganga gives the swears on the book of truth that he will say the truth and nothing but the truth. then prabha goes over to ganga and tells him that his testimony will help an innocent to get released from jail. ganga starts, "that day" and pauses. aathi gives a terrified look at ganga waiting to see what he is going to blabber. when prabha asks ganga to continue, he suddenly faints. THODARUM...



**** i thought only magi-selva-nithi scenes are draggy, seems the court case is going to be even more draggy. thamira was this close to proving herself innocent but ganga had to faint at that moment!!!!!! what the!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hari sir, pls don't let us pitchify our hair any longer.****

prabha starts off with saying in court that the court should give permission for ganga to appear as an important witness in thamira's case (aathi's men who was about to kill ganga earlier is also present in court).

he was granted permission and it shows ganga walking in to the court accompanied by the police to the witness stand. ganga gives the swears on the book of truth that he will say the truth and nothing but the truth.

then prabha goes over to ganga and tells him that his testimony will help an innocent to get released from jail. ganga starts, "that day" and pauses. aathi gives a terrified look at ganga waiting to see what he is going to blabber. when prabha asks ganga to continue, he suddenly faints. THODARUM...



**** i thought only magi-selva-nithi scenes are draggy, seems the court case is going to be even more draggy. thamira was this close to proving herself innocent but ganga had to faint at that moment!!!!!! what the!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hari sir, pls don't let us pitchify our hair any longer.****
