Sonakshi Sinha to star in Chameli Ki Shaadi' remake?

Although a large number of remakes haven't reportedly worked in Bollywood, the remake fever refuses to die down. According to a report on Mid-Day, Anil Kapoor and Amrita Singh starrer Chameli Ki Shaadi' is the latest to join the remake bandwagon. The film will be helmed by Radhika Rao and Vijay Sapru, who are known for Salman Khan's Lucky: No Time For Love'. The report also mentioned that the makers are considering Sonakshi Sinha to essay the character played by Amrita in the original, which had released in 1986

First - Akira, Force 2, Haseena and now this.

The female lead's role is stronger than the male lead in this film. The original one had Anil Kapoor, I think they'll take a new comer at his place for the male lead.

but whatever Sona needs to say yes to this first.

She should totally do it if they are remaking.

Though I am in no favor of remakes but if its happening, Sona fits Amrita's role. Chameli ki Shadi is hilariously epic in its own way. Wonder who would suit Anil's character.
