Abhi-Pragya-Daadi-Tannu Crack Drabble: Anarth
*Pragyawalks in on Abhi and Tannu in Aaliyah's room and witnesses what the picture shows below*
*Pragya runs to Daadi's room*
P: Daadi, anarth ho gaya (something happened that should not have happened).
D: What happened, beti? Why are you crying?
P: (Breathlessly) Daadi, all our efforts went down the drain. Everything is shattered now.
D: Beti, sit here. First tell me what happened.
P: Daadi... (sobbing) ... woh (he).. inhone (he)... he has married Tannu.
D: MARRIED? What are you talking about? When did this happen? (holds her hand on her chest as it beats in the top gear).
P: I don't know when, Daadi. He wanted to forget me... I think that was to marry her. He must have secretly married her. She must have pressurized him into it. He had been secretive and plotting with her for property too. Now marriage, Daadi. I lost everything Daadi. I lost this game.
D: No, No.. this can't happen.
P: Daadi, I saw with my eyes. He was putting sindhoor on Tannu's forehead. Yesterday he had gone out with her. They must have gotten married in the court or a temple.
D: Haaye Rabba, how could this happen? No, Pragya. We have to fix this. Come let's go. Where is he?
P: Aaliyah's room, Daadi.
*Daadi holds Pragya's hand and takes her to Tannu's room*
*Abhi is sitting on the bed. Tannu is showering in the bathroom*
A: (Stands up)Daadi why do you look so upset. And why is she crying?
D: Beta, what did you do? Why did you do this? Shouldn't you have told me once before taking this step?
A: Daadi, I just felt it was the right thing to do. I had been brushing off my responsibility for the longest time.
D: But beta, how do I tell you, you did the worst possible thing to yourself!!
A: What happened Daadi? Now why are you crying too? What did I do now?
D: Beta, that baby is not even yours and you have took this big step to father that baby.
A: Baby NOT mine? What are you saying, Daadi?
D: Yes, beta. That baby was never yours to begin with. She is playing you beta. Why do you think I made Pragya become what do you call, Mogambo? It was only to expose Tannu and to make you realize the baby not being yours. Pragya had overhead Tannu talking to the father of her baby. We needed to find that man so that we bring him in front you and prove to you that the baby is not yours. But you took this big step and spoiled all our efforts (cries).
A: (Feels dizzy, sits on the bed again, runs his hand in his hair, breaths heavily in and out) What the hell!! if the baby is not mine, whose baby it is? Why was she lying to me?
T: (Comes out of the shower) Pragya, Daadi.. what are you doing here?
A: TANNU WHOSE BABY IT IS? TELL ME NOW. TELL ME THE TRUTH OR ELSE I WILL NOT BE MYSELF.
T: Abhi, what are you talking about (her voice shaking)...?
*Abhi drags Tannu with him, Daadi and Pragya run behind, pushes Tannu in his car's passenger seat, sits in the driver's seat, Daadi and Pragya sit in the backseat. Abhi drives to City hospital*
T: Abhi where are we going (her whole body is shaking)?
*Abhi doesn't talk. No one else talks after that*
*Abhi takes Tannu to the forensic doctor and asks her to take samples from her and him and get a DNA test done. The doctor takes samples from both*
A: I KNOW YOU ARE LYING, TANNU. YOUR FACE IS SAYING IT ALL. I JUST WANT A PROOF SO THAT YOU WILL NOT MESS WITH ME AGAIN.
T: Abhi, I am sorry Abhi. I... just... It was a mistake Abhi. I was drunk and slept with Nikhil and this happened. But I swear I never went to him again. I love you and only you Abhi...
*Pragya and Daadi look at each other's face at the realization that Nikhil is the baby daddy*
A: SHUT THE F___K UP TANNU (raises his hand to slap her but retreats). GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. ELSE I WILL KILL YOU.
*Abhi walks out to his car. Daadi and Pragya follow him again*
A: Get in (tells Daadi and Pragya).
*No one talks in the drive back to home*
A: (After reaching home) So you guys knew this and never told me.
D: Beta, we wanted to prove it to you so that you trust us. I am so glad beta, at least now you learnt the truth. Now she might still try to take advantage of you since you are married to her.
A: Married? Who married her?
P: Didn't you marry her? I saw you putting kumkum on her forehead..
A: Kumkum? The thing that I used to put on your forehead while we were married? What even? When did I put that on her?
P: In Aaliyah's room, this morning...
A: Ohhh THAT.. That was no kumkum, she freaked out that she had a grey hair and wanted me to pluck it out. And you assume it was kumkum!!
P: So you haven't married her..!?
A: Of course not! I was thinking of marrying her... and I was taking her out for lunch today..to talk to her about it.
D: Rabba tera lakh lakh shukr...
P: Daadi.. (hugs her)
A: (Looks at Daadi and Pragya hugging) I am so mad at you both..don't talk to me for the rest of your lives.. (walks off).
*Daadi and Pragya don't even hear Abhi and cry happy tears while hugging again*
