Is Halloween a nuisance or just a bit of harmless fun?
The origins of Halloween date back over 2,000 years to the ancient festival of Samhain when people dressed up to ward off evil spirits.
Many people will be pulling on their scary costumes and preparing for a night of trick or treating while homeowners get ready to give out handfuls of sweets to a procession of children.
However local police forces and councils will also be preparing themselves for the usual rise in anti-social behaviour.
Are you going to a Halloween party? Will you be trick or treating? Or will you be ignoring any knocks at your front door? Is Halloween just another event in retailers' calendars? Are you a pagan marking the festival of Samhain?
