British model and actress Feryna Wazheir has finally got her big break. The Vagina Monologues actress, has been flying in and out of India for the last five years as she has been trying to find her foot in Bollywood. The babe has finally got a meaty role and will be seen in Akshay Kumar'sAirlift.

The actress was spotted by ace photographer Farrokh Chothia, who eventually helped her bag her first film, Ketan Mehta's Rang Rasiya, alongside Randeep Hooda. Early last year, she received a call from Raja Krishna Menon, who had an interesting role for her in Airlift. The actress revealed to a leading tabloid, "After a screen test, I was told that I would be playing Tasneem, a wealthy Muslim woman who has lost all her money, been thrown out of her house and finds herself in an Indian refugee camp in Kuwait in 1990."

This week, Feryna has been flying from Scotland to New York via London and back to B-town, promoting her upcoming films. Talking about Akhsay, Feryna revealed, "He is fun and disciplined at the same time."

Feryna also hopes to release her British film - Secret Heart in India as well. Directed by Cary Sawhney, the film is set against the backdrop of the Second World War and she will be seen as a Jewish woman in the film. Airliftwill release on January 22.
