Not bad. Many lead tv actors earn less than 20k/day because of the tv channel/PH and the lack of popularity of their shows.

Many lead actors are less paid mainly because their shows aren't that much popular or the shows have just started. Interestingly many lead actors of popular shows (TRP wise) are less paid too. Guess, star value is a strong deciding factor too. I'm sure KP, DT, AH received half the money of what they are earning now at the initial stage of YHM. Perhaps after SPA June'14 or new time slot September'14, they started to receive the current per day amount.

That's the reason...many top tv celebs prefer doing episodic or hosting rather than getting stuck in an underpaid daily show. Hosting shows are like cash cows...big paycheck with less work. Then again, star value is a strong deciding factor here too.

From last one year... Yhm is running and having online popularity only and only because of divan... They deserve this... Otherwise... It would have bcm ssk or sns... Which have trp but no fan following and online popularity

Hey im sure the ph must be getting way more than 15 lakhs, because im not sure if this is true but i once read on qh forum that qh gets 40 lakhs rupees per eps and yhm is way more popular than that

KP-DT get in between 45-50k while Mrs Bhalla gets 25k. LOL. Not accurate.
The info given in that video is correct. They got it from TOI. KP used to get 50-60k/day when he did Kasturi and that's 6 years ago. His initial contact with YHM was around 50-60k/day and now its around 1.25 lac/day. He gets about 10 lac/epi for Gumraah.
DT and Anita's figures are correct too. RSA gets around 20k/day and he's the lead earner in YHM after KP, DT and AH. Ruhi gets the same amount. Rest of the cast earns around 15k or less/day (depends on actors) and it's day to day basis. It means no work, no pay for the day for the supporting actors.

@Bold: You're kidding, right?!! 😆 😆

The report is true btw and other than protagonists and antagonists, side actors are paid very less, roughly 1/10th of what a lead usually gets. Its not for YHM only, its the tradition of daily shows...only the lead actors get all the name and fame.

I haven't seen their play slips coz I don't need to but I'm sure of it.Specially KP's one. 😉
And no PH or GEC pays 30k/day to a supporting actor.
