Is not remaining a virgin till marriage a sin for women?

There r many men however modern n educated they r only want virgin women as their wife as they think they only have right to pop her cherry as if she is a gift box. Wen a woman is not virgin till marriage she is called horrible names by everyone including her husband. There r various forms of women not being virgin like rape victim, divorcee, widow or just women being in relation wid some guy before marrying another. Some men on finding their wives not virgin get abusive n even divorce them feeling cheated. Is it a sin for women if they don't remain virgin till marriage? Some even luk out for blood during 1st time to see if they r virgin wen in reality hymen can be broken even by some physical activity. But those explanations r sometimes seen as lie by people. Some men even go to d extent of taking virginity test of d women before marrying them.

Is this some kind of a religious question? Sin sounds so religious. And most religions I know of, consider pre-marital sex as a sin. Although thinking about it, I don't know what Hindu scriptures say about pre-marital sex - sin, wrong, ill advised, ummm okay or yeah sure go ahead. All I know is that present Hindu society considers it as no-no, at least the conservative ones.

It is definitely not a sin for a woman to be virgin till marriage based on what I understand. But what was the traditional role of the man and the woman? As per the religion, it is considered once a woman marries a man, he is her protector and provider. and definitely the protector and the provider of her children also. And so the religion tells her to be submissive to him. Of course, nothing wrong is going to happen if a woman is independent and has sex before marriage and then after marriage she takes care of her husband, finds job for him with the help of her parents or her brother. One has to be open with every type of adjustment between the husband and wife. But the question comes when how she takes care of herself? What are her expectations on her husband etc.? But suppose the woman wants to have sex with any number of men but she expects her husband to be her provider always, it is sin for her.

I personally consider it wrong for both men and women to have premarital sex because I find it to be a disrespect to your own self. I feel we should only ever expose ourselves to the person that can respect your entirety and love you forever. That being said, I wouldn't want to marry a guy that has had sex before because I myself practice abstinence. Maybe other people will have different views because our standards for others are based on how we live life.

yes its a sin. how many guys will want to marry a gal who flaunts sleeping with guys and gives a count!!!

Boys and Girls use protection, its is bull shit if someone says it is a sin. Its the story of sour grapes, if you cant get it then it must be bad 😈
