There are news/Rumors that PKHJD is ending in Jan and obviously most of us are upset! So on a positive note, lets discuss WHY we LOVE the show!

I like PKHJD because of:

  1. Mona and Iqbal's flawless acting and their phenomenal chemistry
  2. the spy/terrorist angle of the show
  3. the Social message it has, terrorism has NO religion
  4. I love that its mature love tory as promised
  5. love that despite all their fights the leads have, they end up talking to each other soon after rather than looong silence and staring only
  6. did I mention I love Iqbal and Mona?

Why do you guys like this show? What made you get hooked to this show?

PKJHD - Title it self so lovely
message is promising, unique challenging and good

MONA AND IQBAL ARE FLAWLESS!! as individuals and as a pair!! they bring such a new yet hot and loveable chemistry.

No drag. Progressive, realistic aka no hamming or saas bahu drama.
yet very thrilling.

Major reason why i stated watching the show because it promised a mature love story and I'm a sucker for such stories. So it was like I had to watch it.
Secondly it was quite some time I hadn't seen Iqbal on TV (after tumhari paakhi) and given how hot he looked in the promo I had to watch him.

Once the terrorist-soy angle got revealed, I knew there was no looking back. It was something different from the regular ott drama and also the family is realistic and relatable!

I started watching PKHJD for Iqbal.❤️
And also for new & fresh pair Iqbal-Mona.⭐️
I loved the natural fun-loving Hooda family.
After knowing about the character of Rizwan & storyline..i loved it more.❤️
It's totally different serial & different from typical saas bahu drama.😃
That's why i watch & like PKHJD.😳

I started to watch it on a lark, coz it replaced Reporters. That too maybe 2 or 3 weeks later. But it was so good, I caught up to it in about 1 week and no turning back since. Especially since I heard about the spy angle, I was even more curious and it has been fully worth it.

1.The leads are awesome. Mona and Iqbal are superb together.

2.Hooda family is fun, and all characters contribute to the narrative.

3. I like the mixed religions concept. Inter religious marriages between two cultures. (Trisha and Bilal).

4.The love story of a patriotic Pakistani spy and a patriotic Indian woman. Cant go past it for the pathos and also the message in their story. LOVE has no bounds. (sucker for that sort of thing).😳

5.Spy angle. Like how Rizwan lives a double life and we still feel connected to him. We even feel connected to Sana and Aatif. (Mostly because of Rizwan). It forces us to think beyond who is supposedly "good" and who is supposedly "bad". Even knowing Shergill is the good guy, we still root for Rizwan!

6. It does not drag!

Have to specially mention that I have fallen in love with Iqbal Khan, and also Mona Singh. Together they are a dynamic duo. This is my first experience of both of them and I love the honesty in their performance. Both individually and together! Amazing. I will surely miss this show as its one I look forward to seeing every day, coz something happens on it each day!

I followed this show only after knowing abt the Spy angle...Want to taste smthg diff on TV after all d regular stories and this one caught my attention!!!Promo didnt interest me becoz it sounded lyk a typical BT drama...But thank GOD for d article stating Lead charcater as a spy!!!And I love Fanaah movie which was on similar lines...So there was no 2nd thought after knowing that!!And eventually I have fallen for IK&MS...How passionate they are abt thier profession!!!Their acting chops are par behind xcellence and u just cant get enough of them!!!And their voice modulations, just nails the scenes!!!!I am totally crazy abt their voices!!!And I love Neeti soo much after d leads...She is just a rockstar!!!!Pushti is d best!!And each other character, had its charm...And as said above it makes u think deeper abt terrorists and their activities and what led them to be so!!!And its msg oriented!!!A show cant be good this much satisfying that PKHJD is!!!So all in all there is no reason that u can overlook this show but ir gives every reason to fall in love with it!!!!

I had left all my Hopes from the Show after first 2 Epis...
But It was the Sp Angle that brought me back...

I watched post that as IQ just Rocks in such "Hiding Raaz" kind of Roles...
But Honestly , This Show turned out more then That...

This Show actually has Maturity as Promised, not only in Lead Couple but also in the Story/Writing.
IQ-Mona are Stellar Performers , but watching these two Together as RizReet performing those Layered Emotions has been Awesome Experience.
I feel like I am watching some Drama on Stage , so much these two are Invested in their Roles..
I see Poetry in Motion being Played out in Front of Me.
This Show has shown some Brilliant Writing , which i saw after a Real Long Time... and with RizReet as Couple This Style of Story Telling is New to me , and I have been completely Amazed at this.
So Kudos to the Writing Team...Awesomest Job you guys are Doing.

I have seen few Documentaries where the Innocent Ppl are Trained for Terror Activities ...some Real Clipping that I have seen those were Choking Shocker types.
However this show helped me to Understand the Human in them . I connected with them .

I love the Message that they want to Show :
How innocents are Used by People for tier Own Benefits and how we Humans fall Prey in all This.
Humanity is above all Religion , caste Basis...
Love/Humanity is what CONNECTS Us...

And Lastly , I always get a Sense of Spirituality ...And lot of it goes to The Actor IQBAL ..the way He establishes connect of Rizwan with God is Surreal...
Rizwaan's Conversation with his Allah...have been one of Highest Point of this Show ...and I absolutely Love It.
And Yes Along with the Actor ...the Credit goes to The Writer too...

The Spiritual Connection point that I mentioned in my Prev Post...
I have to say ...I have never ever got that Spiritual Connection watching any serial...Never Ever .
Most of the serials try to show God with OTT stuff ...as if It has some Big Powers , who can turn arnd everything .

But in PKHJD , Its soo SIMPLE...
For Rizwan His Allah is his Guide ...Riz always asks him to show him Right Way ...And His Allah shows him that either through Preet or Kavya ..and sometimes also becomes his Pain Healer ...again through the Two Angels...
This Depiction is so Beautiful..
The Connection between Riz and God is established so Natural...

God just shows us the Right Way , Its we who have to take futher steps on that Way ...we ourselves have to reach our Destiny through Right Path...

Thank You IQ for your Earnest Depiction and Writers for penning down such Scenes...
