Not sure how many of you saw my review in the BM topic but I just have to say that Priyanka's performance was quite overrated! This Forum overhyped her performance so much that I had sky-high expectations from her, and I came out of the theatre feeling underwhelmed!

She just cried a bit here and there, I didnt see or feel the angst/pain of her character. What I mean is there was not enough intensity in her performance. You could have cut/paste the same acting into Agneepath for all I know 😕

I think her performance was overhyped just to make Deepika look bad, but Honestly Deepika gave a much better performance!

And another nonsensical thing that was mentioned in this forum - that the film should've been called Bajirao Kashi 😆😆 because the film revolved around Priyanka and she was in the film more than Deepika. Im sorry but i think y'all were imagining stuff, there a large portion of the film where Priyanka isn't even there 😆😆 This is Bajirao and Mastani's story, why would it be called Bajirao-Kashi when she isn't even in the film that much.

When DP is in the film, you can't expect any other actress to overshine her 😆😉 OK I am biased LOL.

But yeah, PC was quite good but for me I like my Mastani first always and when the topic is BM, I must say, the one who actually stole the show is Ranveer!

PC was definitely NOT overrated.. She deserved the acclaim she got.. And I also think DP was equally good if not more.. I think Ranveer overshadowed his ladies in the film.. But among the ladies both did well.. Although I loved Kashi and Rau more in the film.. Their chemistry was hot.. However I do feel we should not debate on who deserves more and who did more.. Because everyone has equally worked hard for this film.. Its unfair to undermine someone's work and put them down..

This is not about PC,I would like to say one thing in the last 2 years Bollywood for some reason works on this concept I don't know why,but like whatever film is released some section of the media praise the movies and the performances to an extent that is a acha toh shayad kabhi kuch dekha nahi and when you actually see it you start feeling is me ASA kya tha.

As I said pehla sa this is not about PC or dp,I genuinely think Bollywood has a habit of over praising.

She was good but Tanvi Azmi was better than her. Didnt really connected with Mastani's character although DP did okayish

yes her role was not long but her acting was very natural.

She was good but not an award winning performance. Ranveer was better than the girls, I couldn't connect to either Kashi or Mastani character.

seeing her in trailer i thought she will be the best part of the movie but after watching the WHOLE movie i can say her role is as normal as another one nothing extraodinary so yeah the trailer overhyped her character !!

and as someone said tanvi character is more challenging in a widower role !

Don't know whether it should be called Bajirao Kashi or not but the film should definitely not be called Bajirao Mastani. Inspite of Bajirao and Mastani present, their tagline 'Love story of a warrior' was absent. So if you watch the film having that title in mind, it looks really flawed coz there's absolutely no love story.Mastani just forces her on the whole family of Bajirao.
