So as i have always wrote posts about Iqbal,😳 and trust me i can write all day long about him! 😳, but today i cant stop myself writing about our pretty Mona! ❤️
This week was flooded with crappy BT formula track, the lead heroine was made to enact like a typical bechari bahu, but hats off to Mona Singh for making all that crap tolerable.
I would accept i was NEVER a Mona Singh fan, never. I started this show only for Iqbal but this woman knows how to make people her fans. She is a power house of talent and has flawlessly carved a strong niche for herself in the screen space.
Preet's character is the muse for Rizwaan - His biggest attraction, his fascination and then his biggest distraction and hurdle. Her character till now has been viewed via Rizwaan's perspective but what a commendable job by Mona. She is being perceived via another character still she maintained her individuality.
Her mannerisms, her dialogue delivery, her body language, her expressions - everything is a treat to watch. She makes the happy go lucky nature believable without making it cringy. She has made Preet Kaur Bhullar an adorable person with a dark past, a strong woman with a will to move on, and a self respecting person who is not afraid to be head over heels in love with her husband.
Now especially coming to this week, again saying keeping in mind how CRAPPY it was regarding the Niana - Bilal track, i am amazed Mona made it tolerable. She carried her off on screen with her natural charm, and a special mention to her dialogue delivery and voice modulations.
Mona's strong point is how she modulates her voice making dialogues impactful and saves them from being cliched. She raises her pitch and drops it JUST at the right times, esp her scene with Bilal - it was a million stars (the actor playing Bilal also did a GREAT job there) and i LOVED her in the Shergill scene where she said, "main ap pe manhaani ka case kar dn gin Mr Shergill" I was floored there!! What brilliant dialogue delivery! The way her voice stiffened! That is where she made her place in the screen space which was owned by Iqbal like a BOSS!!
so here is applause for Mona Sighn for making every crap tolerable with her wonderful performance and a little note to the writers that please dont waste a power house with crappy tracks. Its a treat to witness such an unconventional female actress who is not afraid to experiment - so make use of it!
and for Mona - you rock! You managed to turn me into your fan! ⭐️
