Beautiful analysis Arshics. I thought Guru Vasishth will give an explanation for the animal sacrifice but CV's skipped the part and went with Ram's alternative solution for the practice.
See its always matha-pita-guru-deivam(god). As we all know matha shows us our pita and he takes us to guru and in turn guru leads us to know god by enlightening our knowledge. When the move of ashwamedh yajna is actually initiated by pita accepted by guru, the ultimate choice is to go to matha to get the solution as she is the sathya roopa of god for every living beings (there are certain exceptions like kunti).
Ram went to Jabali in search of answer for his questions (CV's shows that Ram accepted him as a guru next to Vasishth, till meeting vishwamitra) where he ended up with the conclusion that the practice is wrong but there is no need for someone has to come and change it. Jabali's words clearly indicated that though we all know that certain issue is wrong and adharma, we wait for so-called someone to come and change. I feel as long as we dont have the mentality to stop/change the mistake in the society no point in simply blaming others. We are also part of society and we should not be an invertebrate.
Kaushalya's thought of making golden horse once again (next to golden shanta statue) laid the foundation for the sita statue in later stage.
The thought of Ram and the reaction of Sita was a beautiful portrayal of the CV's to highlight the understanding aspects of Ram-Sita w/o even knowing each other.
So sentimentally, Sita (lakshmi) intro is going to be on Friday. I like it.
I liked the entire dialogue of today's episode. My appreciation for the CV's and their team.
