Maan : I know... I have been forced to watch the all the episodes by those twin devils every season now when I was at home..

After Maan pressed entered ...he just realized what he has actually typed in flow. Shit... he couldn't believe that he was so careless. He tried deleting the message or recalling it.. Just then he saw that the message line turned from blue to green.. Which meant Mishti had read his message.

When Geet saw that message she felt a sting of jealousy. She had been chatting with him daily and by now both of them knew abt each other's family details. She knew he was not married. But now this girlfriend pregnancy news. He did not look like a man who would not honor his words. And that too after he had googled everything on the topic. Geet suddenly felt a wave of depression hit her. She did not know why this news had suddenly made her very sad. She closed the chat and removed her cabin blinds to look at Maan. He looked very worried with his head between both his heads. She felt a gush of anger. Had she made a mistake in assessing a person. He had a pregnant girlfriend and he was not married to his girlfriend. And in the office he happily chatting or flirting with Sameera and was fooling around with her in chatroom. Was Geet a big idiot in opening herself to a guy like this.

Sam: Boss at 2'o clock.. Daily surveillance started... Maan what are you doing ... start working.. And Adi atleast show that you are working..

Maan: Yaar kya hai ye... chain se marne bhi nahi degi ye...😡😡

Maan was pissed off... first of all he was so scared that his one reckless statement might make him loose his new friend. What will she think.. That he was a cheap person who goes around getting girl pregnant without marrying them.. Oh God.. Secondly his hitler boss had developed a new habit of checking out her employees if they are working or not from her office. He felt that after his promotion and Sameera's incident with "Uncle", his boss was looking at a chance to throw him out. Hence this daily surveillance at him. He felt like he was working in a jail.

just then he received a call on his desk phone.

Maan: Hello

Geet: Its me...

Maan: Yes boss.. Yes Mam..

Geet: Come to my room now.. Bring Mahek and Sameera too

Sameera: Kya ho gaya .. Achanak kyu bula liye.. Usne dekh liya kya haste hue hum logo ko..

Maan: pata nahi yaar... lagta hai mera upar bomb phtane wala hai

The incidents in the last 5-6 hrs had left him confused was an understatement. He was badly shaken . He did not know what was happening. At one point he was under a sense of betrayal. Some part of him was super angry at Mishti.. No .. His boss Geet for making him a fool for one long year. He wanted to tell her how madly was he searching for Mishti for the past one month. Mishti had magically disappeared from the chat site from the next day. Her mail id was inactive driving him to his wits end. When he had woken up the next day he had found himself naked in a sheet. His clothes were neatly kept on his bedside. After a lot of attempts he had remembered that he was with Mishti last night. When he had removed the cover from the bed , he had seen blood spots on the bed sheet. At that point he was so scared and was in constant sense of fear that what if he had forced himself on Mishti that night.

And the next part of him was confused about his reaction to his boss. All it took was 2 kisses from her and he wanted to ravage her at that instant itself. His mind was trying to find a logical answer to this question. Why hadn't he felt this passion for his boss for the past one and half years he had worked under her. And now this " sleep naked next to each other" thing. He was still not able to understand what made him agree. It was easy for Geet to say it and sleep nicely next to him with her whole body plastered on his side and her leg on top of him very near to his..umm... stuff. And here he was with sleep miles away from his eyes.

Then this Love bomb. Damn it he had no idea that Geet or for that matter Mishti.. Was in love with him. Why? The girl who he had pinned for 3 years had aborted his baby and dumped him for his brother who was atleast not as broken as he was. He still got nightmares of the blast which left him almost crippled.

And the girl .. Or his boss who had sometimes made the life of her employees living hell had pinned for him for the past 6 months. No matter how much he raked his brain he could not come up with any instance where he had talked non-formally with his boss. He had not given any indication to his boss which she would mistake as him being remotely interested in her. Mishti was another matter. He sometimes treated their chat sessions as his therapy session where he could share whatever was in his mind or heart with an unknown person. And now the unknown person had turned out to be not so unknown one.

He still had not even thought about their family's reaction . Will anyone believe that he had no romantic inclination towards his boss. Even the drunk one night stand sounded very cheap. What will his family think about Geet ? No that cannot happen.. He will cook up a story of their undying love for each other which made them break all boundaries set up by society.

The only thing about which he did not have any confusion was pregnancy. He was grateful to Geet that she wanted to keep the baby and he intended to honor her name at any cost even if he had to physically haul her to the mandap. His babies will not be born bas***d. With these thoughts he finally drifted to sleep.

Maan's sleep was disturbed when he heard Geet whimpering in her sleep.

Please don't go...no no .. Its not their fault.. No No...

Geet.. Kya hua ... wake up ..

Geet then hugged Maan and started crying. She had a very horrible dream where everyone was taunting her and her child for being illegitimate. The full impact of what she had done was hitting her now. What if Maan refused to love her , marry her . Her children will be called illegitimate.

Its all right.. Just a bad dream .. Look at me.. Nothing will happen.. We will sort it out

After some time Geet was lying at her back when she suddenly felt Maan turn towards her and kept his hands on her belly.

Worst part was that Nandini agreed . When she got to know about her pregnancy , I had just left for my posting. She told me that she could not keep waiting for me. I begged her to keep it... but in her next letter... she told me that she had aborted... I cried that day..

I was never interested in doing what my family wanted me to... I wanted to do something for the country.. So I joined Army.. I sometimes feel that I have failed my country..
