As another week came to an end yesterday and we await with impatience for Monday to come soon forgetting Monday blues, the retrospective thread is back too. To look back,to get all excited reminiscing the fabulous scenes we got starring our favourite characters- Rizwan and Preet. The entire week belonged to them, their tiffs, their cute nok-jhoks, their making up after love quarrels, their conversations, their fears, their definition of love - Every thing was awww worthy and spectacular to say the least. Unfortuantely this week the story did not move much as it was mainly focused on moments between the protagonists. They moved ahead in their relationship a bit more or did they got entangled more in foreshadowing darkness? Only time will tell. But for now let us all just sit back and revisit the past week with a smile on our face. That's what it eneded up doing throughout the week. It was good to see Rizwan and Preet beaming in happiness forgetting their complexities even if that stayed for moments.

As we got many beautiful moments between Rizwan and Preet which were heart warming, poignant, funny , mixed bag of emotions, it is difficult to select one as usual. I know I am breaking the rule each time , but blame it on writers and actors.Cant help but mention multiple scenes. Here are my favourite picks-
~SCENE 1~ (credit Stephie's creations)
The kitchen scenes- Let me say I find it awww so cute the way Rizwan was trying to manao his ruthi huyi preet. He is such a darling husband, not only makes her feel secure, tries to heal her from past scars, he is genuinely caring enough to make efforts to say sorry by forgetting his ego. A big thumbs up for that. The most funny yet sweetest dialogues came from this scene- Yahan Toh romance na klarne ka saza mil raha hai. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†Dil ki baat zubaan tak aa hi gayi. You are surely allowed to do all the romance Mr Husband, go ahead. But please find a better place than this kitchen. 🀣🀣 Another one which reflected their relationship so beautifully- Are pati toh abhi baki hai mere dost. ❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️. A man who tries to fullfill all his duties of a husband to the wife whom he considers a friend. Their friendship shows in their conversations, their body language, their bond, so when he says I am still there to help you my friend as your husband- it becomes a fascinating tale of relationship. The affection, the love, the intimacy as a tool to win back the angry & upset wife looked so refined and organic. The most romantic dialogue of the day- Kya chahiye? Tum!❀️.Straight from the heart, without any conflict of emotions. It sounded like music to my love sick heart.Take a bow actors, you were mesmerising in these scenes very natural.πŸ‘πŸ‘βοΈβοΈ
~SCENE 2~ (credit Stephie's creations)
"Can you please stop talking? scenes. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
Adorable is the word for these two people , who at times behave like kids despite being parents of a kid. The scenes were very natural, relatable and amusing.I loved the nok jhok between the two , specially the way they were actually trying to get into a verbal fight by complaining about each other but end up shutting up the other. 🀣🀣🀣 Moreover the tired, irritated wife saying to her moody husband trying so hard to make up things- Jane do tum se nahi hoga and him just going from there as if following her instructions- cute and rollicking to say the the least. Don't be so effortless actors, its injurious to the heart of the audience. 😳😳😳
~SCENE 3 ~ (credit akki's creations) πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ
The scene of the week undoubtedly goes to this entire sequence just for being what it is- Sheer Delight onscreen. The glee showed on the faces of the protagonists who are otherwise torn, conflicted brought the immense pleasure among us. We all by now know that the constant key factor in this relationship is PAIN, for once it does not leave them. But in these momentrs both Rizwan and Preet forgot that nagging persistent feeling and were living Happiness in true sense. Rizwan who wants to go all the way to live upto his wife's expectations of having a marriage of bliss, initaitaed the process with asking the most important question- Roka karogi mujhse? Can you please stop being so earnest all the time? ❀️❀️❀️ His pathakha punjaban was not ready to oblige but obviously and he said he would wait. LOVE LOVE LOVE the execution and the depiction. The courtship they missed thanks to their circumstances in the past is now getting rejuvenated and that too, in this delicious manner. our hearts are beatng fast too with a huge grin on the face. A thought though- Was Rizwan only trying to give his wife few beautiful moments or was making efforts to fullfill his wishes to have a formal ritual based marriage acknowledging his feelings for his beloved? Was this just about expecations of Preet or about Rizwan's too? To have a blissful bond and a companion through matrimony as he has found the right person? ❀️❀️❀️
In totality, one word to describe this scene- PERFECT.
~SPECIAL MENTIONS~
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Few aspects shown in various scenes which definitely deserve special mention as it led to understanding of the character sketch of the protagonist in better manner. The storytelling with respect to the protagonists are very nuanced but still hope the execution becomes crisp and tightened. Now coming to the list-
The scene where Rizwan mentions or should I say fails to define his feelings for Preet. A very poignant, heart breakingly beautiful scene. A man who is so hard to love needs it the most. Rizwan Ahemd Khan is no different. So when he says that just naming his feelings for Preet as Mohabbat would make him weak in away and he would never be able to leave her, you can just feel the pain he is living each day. He defines Love beyond words as sense of belonging, sense of peace, sense of connectivity with soul. A very deep thought. I don't know how a brainwashed mind can have this much sensitive heart. Duality is synonymous with him and its astonishing to see that each time that duality makes me go all numb about the depth of a character, brilliant piece of writing from the teamπŸ‘πŸΌβοΈπŸ‘

Lastly a big round of applause to the writers team for emphasizing the significance of conversation in a relationship. IT is shown in different scenes and must say each time it has made the scene worth watching. The conversation between a couple sharing their discomfort reagarding each other's past or asking very boldly to express the feelings of heart to the spouse make their scenes alluring. Preet 's uninhibited acknowledgement that she was indeed thinking about his ex or Rizwan very clearly mentioning that its irritating for him to digest that some stranger knew more things about his wife than him. A very realistic approach given to a couple who believes in talking and sorting out their issues. They do not go beating around the bush and hold grudges , rather likes to make things clear to ease the growing tension between the two. A very unique yet refreshing depiction of a contemporary couple and thank you makers for that. 😳😳😳😳
#Star of the week #
No chocolate cookies for guessing, it has now become a habit and a tradition kind to give this title to two effortless actors breathing life into Rizwan and Preet- IQBAL KHAN AND MONA SINGH. We just cant stop talking about you people. Much love and appreciation to both for being this brilliant onscreen in each scene. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Oh God Payal! What a treasure have you put up there I just cannot stop staring and looking at these two and how adorable they are, how natural and how beautiful they are.
Okay so this week it was all about the cutiepies! Rizwaan and Preet! Yes that is what they are!! Babies! ❀️ They are innocent, adorable, childlike, and at the same time can take your breath away with a swoon worthy eye glance. So i am just gonna divide my scenes into categories this time! Bcz ab main kya karn! These people are SO DAMN brilliant!

CATEGORY # 1 - AWWW-WORTHY

Okay THIS is like the MOST adorable thing there EVER can be! LIKE EVER! Biting fingers? Nai mtlb! is there a limit to there being so deliciously adorable or should we just spread them on a cracker and gulp them down! 😳 πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

The child like innocence and emotion of competition!, that i will give u back feeling was like a treat to the eyes on these two! and how adorable do they look talking! I can like listen to them FOREVER!

CATEGORY # 2 - TURNING A TOMATO BLUSH WORTHY

OHHH MMM GEEE!! This was like the HOTTEST thing! The force, the authority, the grip, man this wrist pull is going to stay with me forever!

This was a very creative direction effort. We have seen couples fight and husbands wooing thier wives but with Rizreet it was so fresh and creative, and especially some scenes were just top notch. The director is subtly adding the rawness of rizwaan's characters to his gestures which is making scenes real and one of which includes this. This is like the definition of HOTNESS!! CLASSIC HOTNESS!! No OOT vulgarity or heavy breathing, just a simple pull and there you go .. your heart faints ...

CATEGORY # 3 - ROMANCE

Oh this has to be this! my darlings! glowing and beaming with happiness and going through one of the most romantic things every experienced by anyone, COURTSHIP! ❀️

it was simple, it was sweet, it was just romantic. Rizwaan's loving eyes and Preet's uncontrollable happiness! That was just what made this simple scene such a meaningful step in thier relation! i cannot get over this, have already watched like 20 times ❀️

CATEGORY # 4 - HEART WRENCHING

Rizwan's phone call to sana .. and his confession of how weak he is eternally that he cannot name his feelings because then he wont be able to do what he is suppose to .. my heart skipped a beat .

Maine pyaar ka naam de diya tu main tu kabhi is ghar se ja hi nahi paon ga ..

How much more pain this man can endure, is unknown to everybody!

So this week it was all about different shades of Rizwaan and Preet and they have so successfully managed to take our breaths away! Iqbal and Mona! We all LOVE AND ADMIRE you both for giving us this couple. Who talks, who laughs, who cries .. who is so much in love yet so far away. Who live in a perfect bubble yet sadness hovers on them. Who can make u laugh and cry in one breath! TOO MUCH BEAUTY! ❀️

Amazing post payal, yet again!😳
This week has been indeed excellent. RizReet nailed it totally.😳
My favourites are:

A. Bedroom scene post showdown:

Both wake up at the middle of the night introspecting what really went wrong between them. While Preeto decides never to let her past come in between, Rizwaan feels guilty for his actions. Loved how he gave her the blanket and Preet who is super pissed retorts back saying, 'Tumhe ye Saari cheezein nahi karni chahiye jo tumhari banayi huye hadein ko tod de'
Rizwaan immediately replies, 'Tum bhi toh karti ho yeh sab..'
To which Preet says, 'Toh tumhe kya lagta hai maine koi hadein banai rakhi hai..?'
Rizwaan is left dumbfounded. He doesn't know what to say. Neither can he tell her of his insecurities nor can he be vocal about the turmoil in his heart. 😭

B. The kitchen scene post showdown:

Loved how Preeto was all angry and Rizwaan tried to manao her. The entire apron tying scene to setting her hair to that sexy pull, every thing was beautiful. Those intense eyelocks, the anxiety, the desperation- everything was executed really well and of course the top notch acting by the leads made it memorable.

C. Rizwan's conversation with Sana:

The part where he tells sana about what he feels for Preet is much more than love- a sense of belonging that is priceless.. 😳
He said something like 'apnepan ka ehsaas, sab kuch kar jaane ka ehsaas'..and trust me the beauty n depth of those words left me spellbound. How much does this man really love her? Does he himself realize that? I guess no. Cause its unfathomable.❀️

D. Again the kitchen scene and the role reversal scene the next dayπŸ˜†

Full on BITING taking place here☺️😲
Hahaha they were at their adorable best. So easy with each other. Trying to imitate each other, trying to stop excessive blabbering, and and and bite😳
Tumne meri ungli kaati?
Nahi toh. Woh tumhari ungli mere daanton ke beech aagayi thi..πŸ˜πŸ˜†
How frigging cute are they?πŸ€—

E. 'Tumhari expectations poori hui?'scene:

The pleading in Rizwaan's eyes, the flustered expression on Preet's face, the unmatched sexual tension, the rhetorical answer- everything, just everything was spot on.
Rizwaan knew Preet had a lot of expectations that remains unfulfilled, yet he wanted an answer. Those pleading eyes did the magic here.❀️

F. 'Roka karogi?' scene:

Perfect perfect continuation to the expectation scene. Rizwaan takes a step forward to make her feel wanted, feel loved, feel to be HIS. And what a proposal that was!❀️
Preeto darling was left spellbound😲 and Rizu baby kept on pestering her.😳
Their camaraderie was so soothing to the eyes specially that line , 'humara roka hua nahi hai, tum rok nahi sakte mujhe'..😳
Never did Rizwaan look so happy, so glowing before. He just wanted to make her feel special and he shall do anything to achieve that.

Special mention~

The scene between Preet and shergill where Preet promises to help him and Rizwaan overhears their conversation. He comes to the conclusion that Preet will certainly choose her 'mulk' over him. He goes to bed thinking about Preet's words and has a nightmare.. He mentally slaps himself for even thinking that Preet will hate Rizwaan, that is him after coming to know the truth.
His continuous conflict with his self was so prominent in this scene. He just cannot even think about Preet hating him. The mwre thought crushes his heart. Into a zillion pieces. He reassures himself that Preet will certainly not hate him.
What a scene that was! Beautiful is all I can say.❀️

I am so sorry for unresing so late :)
But, better late than never right :)

Coming to the point, each and every IshReet/RizReet scene managed to surprise me ! Why, cause close proximity is not an issue any longer :) They just can't seem to be away from one another :) And that is truly awe worthy ! They mean more to each other than they will ever realize :)

I love how the pace of the episodes are just perfect ! not too fast, and not too sow either ! :)

I hope you will make this sort of thread for this week's episodes too, cause I am sure it's gonna be RizReetlicious :D

xx

Lovely post😳

*Edited

1) The Regret

The first scene I really loved was the morning after Jay Shergill's partyπŸ˜† I have a thing for such intense emotionally scenes.

The morning when Preet and Ishaan wake up, Preet feels her past is ruining her present, and Rizwaan thinks as to how he overreacted about someone else knowing more about Preet than him. πŸ˜† Kitna jhalta hain yeh. My favourite bit here was him realising that what he did and said were wrong. And Preet's dialogue "Tumhe kya lagta hain maine koi hadd bana rakhi hain" 😳

2) Tashan

🀣 "Kitne parathe khaoge" & Preet saying she doesnt know πŸ˜† Of course she never saw Ishaan like this, Jealous pati.

πŸ˜†

Yeh log ladte hue bhi cute lagte hain. Neeti was super funny in this scene😳

3) Ruthna Manana

This was one of the most subtle scene I ever watchedπŸ‘ Tension, anger, love sab kuch ek saath. The raw emotions seen on their faces.

Riz/Ish doing biwi ki chakkar to manao her. He skips work, tries to help her in kitchen πŸ˜†

Kitchen scene where Preet is angry but Ishaan is doing everything just to make her forgive him

Finger biting, both Preet and Ishaan πŸ˜† I thoroughly enjoyed the acting in this scene they both enacted.

4) Belong to each other

Rizwaan is a nice soul, his trust for baba is breaking while for preet, he is just realising more and more how much he cannot see her in pain, and that in a way they belong to each other, right there. "mohabbat nahin, ek apnepan ka aisaas"

5) Roka

So Ishaan wants to see how PKB nibhaos her rasam, the commitment of marriage.

Ishaan stops her 😳

And Preet saying tum mujhe nahin rok sakte, abhi humara roka nahin hua, koi commitment nahin hain❀️

The way Rizwaan retorts isiliye keh raha, roka karogi.

OMGπŸ‘

Felt like he really wants them to be so committed that if need arise, they can stop each other in future

I honestly love the show more and more after this week.😳

Special Mention: The writers and actors😳

P.s: Listed in a haste, got a lot more scene I loved this week😳
