It is definitely going to be a close fight between these 2 movies.

One is a Khan movie, the name itself is enough to bring in crores no matter how the movie is.

Secondly, it is a RS movie. RS has his own audience who love his kinda movies. My friend, who is a SRK fan, didn't like the Dilwale trailer, but is still gonna watch it first because it has SRK. That's the kind of fans that the Khans have earned.

On the other hand we have BM whose trailer if we were to go by, should actually win the fight. But not necessarily though. Yes, the movie has been made well. Yes, lot of effort has been put in by the team of BM. But period movies have got a thinner audience compared to the typical masala movies. But nowadays people seem to appreciate good cinema. So we'll have to wait and watch.

The theatrical trailers of the two much awaited films of the year - Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale - has been released by the makers.

With a budget of more than Rs 100 crores both the films are pricey and want to prove themselves better to get good returns.

When there is a battle one wins and other has to accept defeat, same goes here only one film will prove to a commercial hit. With both movies releasing on Christmas this will definitely be a tight fight.

With ongoing trend of movies it seems like Dilwale comes with an upper hand. The film also comes with an added advantage of massive star cast which includes names like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. One off-screen star and director Rohit Shetty is also likely to add benefit of his own style to the film.

It is not a win-win situation for Dilwale! Bajirao Mastani also comes up with a powerful cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. All the stars are backed by the name Sanjay Leela Bhansali and with this anyone can expect a spectacular acts in the film.

The only thing which lacks with Bajirao Mastani is the past of the concept; periodic movies have always been raising serious concerns over the box office returns. But, after watching promos one thing is guaranteed that film is expected to fetch dedicated audiences who would love to experience the film only in theatres.

In terms of trailers, it is Bajirao Mastani which looks more impressive in terms of acts and power show. While, Dilwale goes more heart-warming and light movie with a twist.

December 18 is the day when real verdict will come and we will see which movie gets a thumbs up from the audiences.
