When Maya is used to bury the truth, he used the same Maya to bring out the truth. Zeher, Zeher se ki kathta hai principle.
So we need to really understand the motives of their actions, the situations to get the right message.

Hi Shruti,

I am not simplifying Rama or Krishna...they are complex characters. Nor am I saying anything against Rama or Krishna. I understand their motives. In fact I love beautiful these Epics are and so complex. I only mentioned Rama and Krishna in terms of Vachan's as we were speaking about them.

Rama went to forest for 14 years to keep his vachan or his fathers vachan. Whereas Krishna was ready to break his vachan of not participating the way for the greater good. That is all I meant. Both are correct in their circumstances. I was only mentioning some of the the difference between Rama and Krishna, just as they same in many aspects too.

I hope I was able to clear my thoughts. 😊

Love

@muggle_diaries that is why I said you misread Krishna. Who said Krishna didn't participate in the Kurushetra war. He didn't take weapon that's it. He just created the illusion of not participating in the war. By the time people understood his participation, power or the weapon Shakthi went from Karna's hand😃
I understand you are not criticizing Ram or Krishna. But even when talking about vachans you need to understand that Krishna kept vachans but using illusion or Maya. The reason he asks Goddess Parvati to be born along side him as Vishnu Maya is to ensure that his father keeps the vachan. That every child born to Devaki will be given to Kamsa. And yes Maya is given to kamsa who shows herself as Durga once he throws her.
In a way Krishna helped good to deal with evil in a way more comfortable to good people. That's using illusion.
Ram did everything on his own. But Krishna uses Maya everytime to get things done. In other words Ram keep the vachan, Krishna makes you feel he has kept the vachan or he has helped you keep the vachan or move within the confines of the society 😃
