They say that when a story overpowers you, you tend to find reflections of it all around you. Same happened with me when i heard to this song, although its in my phone since ages, but today i could just picture Ishaan's face and his deprived yet frustrated eyes on these lines for the love of his life .. Its very easy to call someone a terrorist, but do we as human beings try to understand what choices he was offered to choose from? This line .. hum apna ghar na jalate tu aur kya karte? The person standing on a distance will consider the one setting his own house on fire as a fool, but only the person himself knows what made him do this.
We want terrorism to end, but do we as a society will give them a chance to redeem? Give terrorists like Ishaan to start over? Maybe not .. and then we ask why doesn't terrorism finish? We are equally responsible as anyone else .. We don't know what choices a person was offered?
Anyways, back to Ishaan .. Then there is the love of is life - who offers one moment of respite in his otherwise world full of revenge guns and death. Afaaton k daur main chain ki ghari hai tu .. She can make him smile, for a while she can take him to his alter ego .. take him to live the life of Ishaan and forget all the sufferings Rizwan has.
