i never thought my wish to see DDLJ in theatre would fulfil one day..!! i missed the chance to see DDLJ in theatre when it ws released n thts coz i ws not much into bollywood tht time..!! it ws frm 2000 onwards with Mohabbatein film-i bcame bollywood esp SRK fan forever...!! n so all the iconic movies of SRK of 90s i could see only in TV..!! DDLJ is the film i hv watched max no of times in TV as its my most most fav bollywood film..!! bt i alwz alwz wished to see it in theatre..!! used to envy mumbai ppl coz they could still see DDLJ in Maratha Mandir theatre..!! n i wished one day i could go there to see DDLJ..!!

bt bt to my utter surprise..!! to celebrate 20 years of DDLJ... the film got RE-RELEASED in my place-Trivandrum(Kerala) n tht too in TWO THEATRES..n my happiness knw no bounds nw...this is truly unbelivable..never evr thought my dream can actually come true..!! i cant wait to see it asap...🥳🥳🥳🥳

I just watched the making of DDLJ and dug this thread out just to post my comments. Man! I have been giggling like a kid the entire time while watching the video. This is so embarrassing but the last shot where they show various movies with that train scene, I got so emotional because more than anything, this movie is special to me because of the countless references and the memories linked to it. Mustard fields are synonymous to this movie, visiting one of them and saving those pictures like it's some kind of treasure or giving the kajol-srk book wala pose for so many photographs or spoofing ja simran jee lee apni zindagi for n no. of times or humming zara sa jhoom loon main with friends. Awesome memories and revisiting them through this video has been so overwhelming. And Shahrukh is the only bollywood actor who can make me gush with the way he speaks. I can make fun of him, call his movies crap and cuss my friends for making me watch the most horrible movies of this man in theater..but it just takes a video like this to make me go all gaga over this man. I just realized how much I have loved him, he will always remain a most most amazing part of my entire movie viewing experience. Had to just write this essay.
