love the concept

I am not a fan of EK shows, considering how blatantly she destroys them later and how they all have similar plotlines, and same ghisa pita rona dhona of the all sanskari and all sacrificing bahu.

I thought this show started off being kind of similar and thought again Mona Singh was playing the same role she did in her earlier show with the cheating husband and all. But with yesterday's episode, I am so happy to see something new underneath the same KJO sprinklers of rich family and sanskaari bahu. And Iqbal Khan couldn;t have chosen a better comeback into Television.

I love the idea that he is a Pakistani spy and is now caught up in a catch 22 between his duty and his emotions. It's a novel idea. I love the subtle chemistry between him and Preet, and especially yesterdya;s moment between them where he saw her in a sharaara and went all 😳😳

I am hoping EK lets it be a mature storyline and a complex emotional saga between two people. I would love action scenes from Iqbal as well and a good thorough plot behind his being a spy and his mission. This Sana factor seems a little lame. I hope they have a good story behind her and why she knows Ishan as well.

I just hope EK doesn't turn this into a caricature of sorts and includes all her idiotic plot lines. Can;t wait to see more. Happy with the new concept as of now. :) Plus excited to see Iqbal and Mona together.

Also, I hope they don;t stereotype Pakistan and spy agents. It would be refreshing to see a new take on it.

Mona said in the interview that they have filmed the guilt scene where Preet is apologising to Ishaan for doubting him and Ishaan is feeling guilty because of the things he has hidden from her...
