Prem is incredibly haraami this time : Salman Khan

The lover-boy image that people have about iconic character Prem, which is mostly portrayed by Salman Khan in many of his films, will shock the audiences this time. Salman, who will be seen playing Prem' once again in his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, says that instead of being the epitome of goodness, Prem, this time is "haraami". The suspense pertaining to the character will unfold only after the film releases on November 12.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the Kick star was quoted as saying, "Boys will rethink their whole attitude towards their girlfriends. But Prem is incredibly haraami this time. I remember wondering while shooting for the film, 'Sooraj Barjatya ki film main yeh aise waise dialogues kahaan se aa gaye (How come a Sooraj Barjatya directorial has such dialogues)".

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor is collaborating with Sooraj Barjatya almost after 16 years. Their last film together was Hum Saath Saath Hai'. Talking about that, Salman said that Sooraj is the real Prem. "But there's a lot of Salman in Prem as well. Sooraj writes what he feels like writing and then he looks at me and writes some more. Sooraj and Salman made Prem and Prem has made Sooraj and Salman".

Actor Salman Khan who will be next seen in his upcoming film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' calls his character 'Prem' incredibly harami! It is a shocking statement made by the actor as his 'Prem' characters in all the previous films have been associated with goodness. But, this time it seems the director Sooraj Barjatya has something different to offer.

In an interaction with the media Salman stated that while shooting the film, he was amazed to know that Sooraj could write something like this as his protagonists are always noble and pure of hearts. The actor will essay a double role in the film- that of Vijay, a prince and Prem, his lookalike. The much awaited film also stars Sonam Kapoor in the leads marks the collaboration of Salman and Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on Novembr 12, 2015.
