Reason for not posting in my song thread is coz this doesn't have a happy ending. Surprised? Well even I am ,so read on.! Although it has a sad end I loved writing this so I hope you like reading it!

Roshni looked at him as he passed on giggling away with his friends. She felt a jolt of current pass through her body as their hands touched. He turned back and her heart stopped upon seeing the never ending smile on his face.
Meri taraf aata har gham phisal jaaye
Aankhon mein tum ko bharun
Bin bole baatein tumse karun
She moved towards him and felt the books falling from her hands. She closed her eyes in fear of falling but he held her in mid-air. He smiled a dazzling smile at her and the whole world around her seemed to mute all of a sudden. She smiled back and saw a different zest in his eyes.

Agar tum saath ho
He made her stand straight while she kept on looking at him. She was too stunned even to thank him so he touched her cheeks with his hands and said "Your welcome." It was when he was gone that she slapped her forehead thinking of what a fool she made out of herself.

Nahar nadiya si teri duniya mein
She sat in class on the first seat and as the professor taught her eyes closed of her own accord. She smiled at herself to be sitting beside him and he caught her hands without anyone noticing. She smiled at their intertwined hands.
Meri duniya hai teri chaahaton mein
Main dhal jaati hoon teri aadaton mein
'gar tum saath ho
She saw him leaning closer to her and her heartbeats reached the breaking point. Their lips were just about to meet when the professor's voice brought her back to reality and she realized that she was dreaming.
Teri nazron mein hai tere sapne
Tere sapno mein hai naraazi
She glanced backwards and found him staring at her ,she smiled at him while he showed her a slap indicating next she will get a spanking from the teacher. She stifled a laugh and he smiled at the sound of her laughter.
Mujhe lagta hai ke baatein dil ki
Hoti lafzon ki dhokebaazi
It was as if sitting even 5 rows apart he could hear her heartbeat and her sound. He could imagine the glint that would be visible in her eyes at the moment. Next second he felt a thing hit his head. He realized the professor had fired a chalk at him as he hadn't been concentrating.

He realized what all he had been thinking ,was he feeling something deep for her? No way he couldn't ,love ,feelings all this was a sham. These were all fairy tales ,yes he cared for her nothing more. He made his heart satisfied with his answer and went back to staring at her.
Palkein jhapakte hi din ye nikal jaaye
Bethi bethi bhaagi phirun
She was sitting in canteen next day talking to him and they were joking along. How she felt the day was so short ,she wanted it to never end. At one time her hand started bleeding due to a nail stuck in the bench and she smiled throughout as she saw him being so concerned for her. How he had treated her and all the time he was constantly asking her if she felt alright.

Aankhon mein tum ko bharun
She was roaming in the corridors all carefree when she heard him and her world froze. She sneaked into his conversation and heard him saying to his friends how she was just a friend for him ,a friend for whom he cared alot.

She felt her world crumbling down ,how she had imagined him to be with her every step she takes. She wanted him to always protect her ,be with her! The tears slipped from her eyes while she kept on wiping at them. She won't cry ,she won't break ,she would be strong ,she would leave.

Tere sapno mein hai naraazi
Next day he looked around for her ,he wanted to spend more time with her. He heard some students talking that she had left the college the previous day. He enquired and came to know how she had been all sad before going. Her roommate handed him a letter and he was all teary-eyed reading it.
Mujhe lagta hai ke baatein dil ki
Hoti lafzon ki dhokebaazi
"Kash tum samajh paate ki tum meri fikr nahi karte ,tum mujhse pyaar karte ho! I will always love you bye!" that's all the letter held and he sinked down to the ground clutching the letter close to his heart.

Bedard thi zindagi bedard hai
He accepted his fate but couldn't bring himself to admit that he was in love. He got up and folding the letter carefully he went wiping his tears away. He wouldn't cry ,he would never love.

Dil ye sambhal jaaye
The letter was well kept in his pocket as he exited the college gates. She was trying to control her tears all the way from the house to the airport.

Har gham phisal jaaye
He reached back home and crashed on his bed and stared into nothing. He wasn't used to silence and this inner sense of silence was eating him up. He felt lonely ,he felt sad but he was sure it couldn't be love. She fell down as she collided with a man and was reminded of the countless times he had prevented her from facing any harm. She got back up controlling the urge to go back to him ,controlling her self-control from slipping away.

Din ye nikal jaaye
She sat in the airplane and saw the sun setting as the day met the night ,wrong the day never met the night they were always separated. A lone tear escaped her eye thinking of this. He got up from his bed holding his face which was all red due to anger ,he picked up his things and kept on throwing them till he wasn't hurt.

Har gham phisal jaaye
She closed her eyes ,in a bid to forget him ,forget her past ,forget his words ,forget his face and most of all forget how it felt being with him. Meanwhile he saw the blood flowing from his hands as he had got a small cut from the glass ,he was now paying for his deeds. He was paying for leaving her ,for not being with her and for not loving her.!
