OS 1 - Inspired by Hasi (Humari Adhuri Kahani)

The entire Shantivan was beautifully decorated with fairy lights to welcome the upcoming New Year. The entire house was filled with guests and each one of the Raizada family members were busy entertaining them. Anjali walks towards one of the guests.

Anjali: Hello Mrs Peter. I hope you are enjoying yourself tonight.

Mrs Peter: Anjali Darling! Of course I am having a fantastic time. You look lovely!

Anjali: Thank you for the compliment Mrs Peter.

Mrs Peter: Anyway Anjali, where's Khushi? I haven't seen her around.

Anjali: There she is. Khushi!

Khushi turns around,

Khushi: Yes Di?

Mrs Peter: Khushi darling, you look gorgeous!

Khushi: Thank you Mrs Peter. I'm so glad you could come by tonight!

As the three of them continued with their conversation, they were interrupted with music. The three of them turn to see Arnav playing the grand piano.

haan nami ban gaye

Arnav looks up towards Khushi and smiles. He gestures her to come up and sit with him through his eyes.

Haan hum badalne lage
girne sambhalne lage
jab se hai jaana tumhein
teri ore chalne lage

I began to change,
began to fall, and be steady..
since I have known you,
I have started to move toward you..

He leans in towards her and their eyes begin to speak volumes. Arnav and Khushi's eye conversation is interupted by Aman who gestures to take over and continues playing as Arnav gets up on his feet.

Har safar har jagah
har kahin ban gaye
maante the khuda
aur haan wahi ban gaye

every journey, every place,
everywhere you became..
I thought of you as god,
and you have become god only..

Arnav then pulls Khushi towards him and gestures her to look at the sky outside at the stars.

Haan hansi ban gaye
haan nami ban gaye
tum mere aasmaan
meri zameen ban gaye

Arnav cups Khushi's face as he sings and Khushi's eyes are filled with pride and tears as a result of the happiness.

Pehchaante hi nahi ab log tanha mujhe
meri nigaahon mein bhi hain dhoondhte wo tujhe
hum the dhoondhte jise wo kami ban gaye
tum mere ishq ki sar-zameen ban gaye

now people don't recognize me when I am alone,
they look for you even in my eyes..
the one I used to search, you have become that lacking in my life,
you have become the territory of my love..

The two of them reminisce over the journey they have had as a couple - right from all the fights and their clashing ideologies and how love had binded them together.

meri zameen ban gaye

Arnav leans in to kiss Khushi and when their lips meet, the sky outside is filled with fireworks. Arnav moves back and looks at Khushi and they wish each other "Happy New Year"!
