You have wonderfully captured the relationship between sanskaar and AP šŸ¤—...sanskaar is the child which AP always wanted to have, but could not so she showered her love on her nephew...but this relation is always bound to fall short in front of the blood relation as they say that " blood is indeed thicker than water "...

so yes I did understand the love and mother-son bond between the two and also sans realisation that that the mother "after his own heart" will never go the whole hog for him when pitted against her blood child...I felt really awful for sans then..😭
Just one thing I really would like to disagree to a certain extent vis--vis panna dhai...what that lady did was remarkable and full of grit...that is the reason she is remembered till date...I salute that great soul...
but there is a difference...you see apart form the immense love she had for baby Udai as his wet nurse...she was also aware that he was the heir to the throne and with all his brothers killed by his villainous uncle in his quest to usurp the throne and wipe out the bloodline...she did the unthinkable...sacrificed her own son to save baby Udai singh so that the mewar empire could be saved...this was patriotism, call for duty and unadulterated love at his best...
AP and sanskaar relation is different imo...AP is the queen bee...though she clearly adored sans but no way she could do a "paana dhai" especially when pitted against her own blood child "the prince charming lakshya", the apple of her eyes...so in way I think sanskaar's nave assumption that AP if she wanted could go the whole distance for him, and his acceptance that she would not was a bit confusing to me......and AP being the queen would actually want others to sacrifice for her son's happiness which am sure would be the case in the serial too...🄱

Just seen this- thanks Kaku for the detailed and lovely comments. Really glad you liked AP's portrayal as from Sanskaar's perspective. See re Panna Dhai, I am not saying AP is totally Panna. Her heir to the throne is Lakshya and hence it comes to it that Sanskaar understands she can never "kill" him. My example was to show that AP has that same Rajput steel in her- some people are made of iron and AP is like that, she just hides it behind femininity. However AP to me is also very dual about the boys- she does fiercely love Sanskaar too, she feels a real pull for him. However she will never be so "weak" as to override her own maternal instincts for the love her spirit and soul demands, i.e. for Sanskaar. I am thinking on a story that explores AP a bit further soon, so that might also help understand "my" AP a bit better 😳

And as you must have guessed from my user name I am a lannister fan. Love them all. And Tywin, dont get me started on him. I can write pages on him & still not be done😳 Jaime, Tyrion, Tywin, Cersei I love them all

Do join us in the GoT CC when the new season starts. It is dead now. btw have you by any chance written any FF on ASOIAF? If yes, plz plz plz PM me the link😳
Chalo I better shut up now. This is SW forum. Dont want to spoil your post with my mad fangirlingā˜ŗļø

Shruti- meant to reply earlier but its been mad with work. Arrey na, why shut up and your not spoiling anything- I love talking GoT! I love the Lannisters- each one is fascinating. My favourite character from the whole show is Tyrion and Peter Dinklage is pure class too so I adore him. Also love how Jamie has evolved and yes, Tywin was a true kingmaker- so fascinating. Oh no, I don't think i would dare write on ASOIAF- those books are so good, my writing would seem insulting?!šŸ˜†

Oh loved this one too...Loved how you described AP..."Perfect" ..."Hands of Steel" indeed incased in "Velvet Gloves"
You know I still think of Sanskar as DP & AP's son ...I think Laksh is Sujata's son...šŸ˜†I my mind its like DP gave away Sanskar to Suju and took Laksh...don't now the reason why but they just did...šŸ˜†Or DP did...šŸ˜†

I see DP and AP both in Sanskar...hes so much like them even though in the show hes not their Biological son...

You compared Swara more to DP...but if you see shes like them...DP...AP & San...too...they are all similar but with some differences...

I see so much of Suju in Laksh...I think you get why...šŸ˜‰šŸ˜†

Loved this letter too...šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†

Yes I too think that AP will ask much of Sanskar for her Lucky baby...and we all know what it or who it will be...

Lets see if they go that way in the show..I think they might...

OK off to read the next one...

You have made my day with your lovely words on all the letters- thanks! Yes totally!!! There is such a "son swap" here! If Lux had been Suju-RP's son no one (or well I) wouldn't have been interested in exploring their back story šŸ˜†. But yeah Sanskaar feels more like DP/ AP's son. And AP- yes, she is capable of both great and terrible things

I think this is my favourite one! 😃
You have penned down their relationship beautifully. This one has so much depth and emotions.. but then again in the previous letters, Sanskaar wasn't expecting anything back, but with this one he knew he'd get something. I have, at multiple times failed to understand why Sanskaar calls her Ma in the show. It was fab to read Sanskaar's frustration and disappointment towards AP, a thousand folds more than he was with Sujata. But he also always knew he would never be placed above he own, let alone as an equal. As much as she adored him, her pride and partiality towards her off springs had meant that she missed out on the son she truly deserved and clearly wanted. Her soul-son as you put it.😊 And they both know it.

Glad you liked it! AP is such a fascinating character as she can go either way and it depends what they do on the show with her I guess. At the moment i like her as she's pro SwaSan but I am fearful she will change as soon as she sees her Yucky Lucky wants Swara . Thank for for your lovely words šŸ¤—

Shruti... You're writings are so mind blowing yaar... They have such a depth that I think professional writers gains after long years.. Coming to this letter, among all I have read till now this one is my favorite... I still have to read next two though.. but right now this one is my most favorite. Its so frank. Liked the way you explored and described Sanskaar and Annapurna relationship. The reference you made to Panna Dhai and Jodha were amazing. Even though Annapurna is SwaSanian right now.. I do think the lady have more layers to her character. Once Luxji goes to her crying for his favorite toy then she can very well turn back on them.

Nityah- you have seriously made my day today with all the lovely comments you have left on my recent outpourings šŸ¤—. Ah- poor professional writers would be horrified if they read this but I love you for saying it ā¤ļø. Glad you liked this!
