Part 15

As the door bell rang, Khushi sprung to her feet making Arnav jump and choke on his food with shock. Khushi rushed to the door in fast long strides after washing her hands, while Arnav followed her after all he had to leave an impression on Khushi's sister oops his sister-in-law.

Khushi opened the door with excitement filled all over her face, while Arnav's eye reflected his happiness on seeing his love feeling so happy after so long.

But as soon as Khushi opened the door, it was just shock written on their faces as they found Payal wearing all the signs of married woman along with a lean, muscular and handsome guy seeing whom Arnav shouted, making Khushi jump.

" BHAI!!"

" JIJI! You---you are married? And that too to the brother of this cheapo stupid Raizada?" Khushi questioned with her mind speculating the possible reaction of her mom to this.

" SHE is my Bhabhi?" Arnav questioned as he imagined his mother's reactions to the fact that both her sons were married into the same family.

" Chotte, what are you doing here in Payal's home?" Akash questioned with curiosity gleaming in his eyes, while Khushi threw an angry look at Arnav, which didn't go unnoticed by Akash and Payal.

" Haan Khushi, what is Arnav doing in our house? What is happening in between you that he is in our house so early?" Payal questioned by holding Khushi's upper arms while Khushi was at a clear loss of words. She could neither acknowledge their marriage nor could she say that they were living in the same room without having any relationship in between them.

" Bhai, Bhabhi, you come in first. We will explain everything to you, I promise." Arnav took over the situation realizing Khushi's difficulty while Khushi sighed in peace.

Akash and Payal moved inside the house before they took their seat on the sofa placed in the living room and Arnav and Khushi knew that they were answerable to them before they can question them being younger than them in age and relation too.

" Bhai, Bhabhi, Actually...Khushi...Khushi Meri Patni hai. Hamari Shaadi Hogayi Hai." Arnav spoke while carefully choosing his words knowing the temper of Akash Singh Raizada and he still didn't know what Payal was actually like.

" What??" Akash and Payal questioned in unison while they were greatly dismayed and appalled as Arnav and Khushi could make out from their faces.

" Nahi..Jiji, Jeejaji it is nothing like Arnav is saying. I mean it was just an act, which everyone is taking for real. Jiji, you know how much I love acting right? And Arnav wanted to take revenge from me for playing a prank on me by setting up a fake marriage setup but with a real Pandit, who ended up reading real mantras and due to that every one is taking this act as real. Arnav is no more than guest, a stranger to me." Khushi stated while looking straight into Payal's eyes as she felt Arnav's painful gaze penetrating into her.

" What is happening here? Someone is saying they are married, someone is articulating it is just an act! What is the reality?" Akash questioned furiously, while the door clicked open to reveal Garima and Shashi walking in with a smile on their face, which vanished by seeing signs of a married woman on Payal and a guy with her.

" Payal Bitiya? What is this? Why are you wearing marital chain and vermilion? And who is this guy with you?" Garima questioned while pulling Payal to her side, while Shashi stood eyeing at Akash questioningly.

" Mumma..." Khushi stepped into speak while Arnav pulled her by her elbow to stop her from speaking.

" Arnav, what are you doing? Leave me." Khushi whispered in a low tone so as to not let anyone see them like that.

" What are YOU doing? Let them explain themselves. Why are you so interested in getting busted? They both are elder to you and they know how to handle the situation. You stay quiet so that no more misunderstandings can take place." It sounded more like an order than a request from Arnav's authoritative tone while it shocked Khushi that he was being authoritative to her.

Khushi pulled away her elbow from his hold, while looking at the drama taking place live in front of her.

" Mumma, me and Akash married. We both were in love since a long time and we finally decided to tie the knot." Payal meekly answered while Akash didn't know what exactly to say.

" And when did you decide to tell us about it Payal? Now? After the marriage?" Shashi questioned her in a rather calm manner, because he knew that getting hyper would give absolutely no solution to the problem. But Garima, as usual let her emotions take a toll on her and connected her hand and her daughter's cheek in a firm slap, while she landed on Akash who straightened her up.

" Jiji!" Khushi shouted from behind, while Arnab held her in her place not letting her move.

" Arnav, let me go. Can't you see Mumma is slapping her?" Khushi questioned while eyeing at Payal and struggling to free herself from his grip.

" If I let you go, it will just aggravate the issue. Arre, try to understand, Khushi. Akash is my brother and Payal is your sister, if they both turn up married like this and we interfere in that, it will just add fuel to the fire. Sasu-Aunty will be more angry on them, because she will surely think that we brothers are playing with you and your sister's life by marrying you." Arnav tried to explain her but it made her even more angry.

" Yes, you have played with my life for sure, Raizada. But I trust my Jiji. She will not make a bad choice. And that's why I will stay quiet. Not because you told me." Khushi reprimanded firmly while Arnav's expressions turned to that of pain from that of worry.

" And you? Tune Meri Beti Ko Bhagaya? You look like a gentleman but this is what you do? Marry a girl without even informing her parents? Arre, do your parents know about it? And also, what is your name?" Garima furiously questioned while Akash took it all without a sign of anger or disapproval on his face and Payal continued to cry like there was no tomorrow.

" Akash Singh Raizada, brother of Arnav Singh Raizada, who happens to be the husband of your other daughter by accident and my parents don't know about it too. Sorry for this mistake, Aunty."

Shock filled silence took over the living room of Gupta Mansion. What will be the reaction of Garima and Shashi after this revelation?

And how will it affect Arnav-Khushi's relationship, where already one side need convincing and doesn't accept the relationship?

Wonderful update.

Arnav is hurt by Khushi's words. Khushi is becoming stubborn and tough nut to crack She is not budging even a little to understand Arnav's love towards her. What made Akash and Payal get married without getting elders blessing. Wondering what will Payal's parents do now knowing that Akash is Arnav's brother.
