Inspector Khurana!!!

Well, we the forumwasis mostly discuss almost all the characters of our favourite serial Reporters. We discuss at length the characters of Malvika, Richa, Ronnie, Sunny, Anita, Tarini but there is one more character who deserves our opinion and that is Inspector Khurana.

We all are aware of the fact that the love hate relationship of the police with the journalists have been an age old fact. There is a simple funda which runs behind the relationship between the two - whether you hate me or love me but you cant do without me. That is the reason, most of the times, while journalists are being beaten up badly by the police, we also see many cases where media plays a major support to the police. In Reporters, however, we have Inspector Khurana who is a good friend of Kabir.

Khurana and Kabir are not very old or very good friends but their relationship certainly is worth noting. While, Kabir depends on Khurana in most of his cases, Khurana supports Kabir silently many times, without the later uttering a word. One can also see an unsaid deep trust between the two. The two of them gel so nicely with each other. We have seen umpteen number of incidences where Kabir has helped Khurana or Khurana stood like a wall for Kabir.. be it the case of Bhavna Shroff, or the minister's brother's murder, or Baaghi where Khurana actually saved Kabir's and Ananya's life by reaching the spot on time and before that helped Kabir by drawing a scary picture in front of Manav Gupta, it was Khurana only who had nailed the last nail in the coffin, remember friends? Be it the green corridor case where Khurana proved extremely instrumental for Kabir in creating the one or the recent bomb blast case. Agreed that Khurana did commit a blunder by not reaching on time or not bring the bomb squad with him but one cant deny the fact that like Kabir didn't leave Ananya till the end, Khurana also stayed with both of them till the end, risking his life, which shows his dedication for his services.

I recently loved Khurana when he stayed at Ananya's home when Kabir asked him to do that. Here is a man who is a good friend of Kabir, yet he doesn't interfere in his personal life.. Be it looking sideways at the time of bomb blast case when Kabir and Ananya were talking or not questioning Kabir's request of staying longer at Ananya's place, Khurana deserves our praise.

Hats off Inspector Khurana... you nailed it so well!!! Wish all policewalas were like you then this country and our lives would have been much better, indeed!!!
