If a movie was made on the lines of Gilmore Girls, which actress can play Rory's role? A nerdy yet pretty girl?

Deepika played a similiar charachter as Naina in YJHD...but Rory is unapologetically nerdy. I wish a movie like this was made in Bollywood, though.

Loved this drama and my fav was Lorelai and I liked Luke too. I just didn't like Rory much but I liked her when she was with Logan
